Developing e-Learning Contents Based on SCORM 2004 (SCORM 2004 기반 e-러닝 콘텐츠 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, a number of research efforts have been taken to enhance interoperability and reusability of e-learning contents by developing ADL SCORM 2004 compliant contents. For useful and effective learning contents, content devlopers have to build the strategy of content sequencing in the phase of instructional design. However, many developers have difficulties in understanding the complicated specification of SCORM 2004 S&N(Sequencing&Navigation) and implementing SCORM sequencing. In this paper, we develop SCORM 2004 based best-practice sample contents utilizing SCORM sequencing and thus present a reference guide to the design and implementation of SCORM 2004 contents. It is expected that our sample contents illustrate an effective and useful application of SCORM 2004 as a de-facto e-learning standard, domestically and also internationally.

  • Ship Standard Network was submitted as a common subject of e-navigation by 81th IMO MSC 2005. This agenda was given an official status with strategy planning of e-navigation for Ship Standard Network after approval of WG program of 81th MSC 2006. Nowadays approximately 400 heterogeneous navigation and communication equipments are working on ships at sea. Standardization of ship network is to support exchanging various data efficiently. Among them, 4S network is defined as a wireless communication network between ship to ship and ship to shore which provides unceasing communication channel ship to shore. It has been expected to trigger various services and applications based on 4S network. However, no technologies and products has been appeared at fields yet. but now there's not specific technologies and developing products. In this paper, We developed a 4S multiple media switching server and a ship-land information exchange system to overcome the heterogeneity and provide efficient communication environments.. The performance of the implemented system was verified by TTA(Telecommunications Technology Association) V&V(Verification and Validation).

  • Big data has a key engine of the new value creation and troubleshooting are becoming more data-centric era begins in earnest. This paper takes advantage of the big data, big data in order to secure the quality of the quality elements for ensuring the quality of Justice and quality per-element strategy argue against. To achieve this, big data, case studies, resources of the big data plan and the elements of knowledge, analytical skills and big data processing technology, and more. This defines the quality of big data and quality, quality strategy. The quality of the data is secured by big companies from the large amounts of data through the data reinterpreted in big corporate competitiveness and to extract data for various strategies.

  • To enhance the reliability and/or resilience of the PNT service included in the e-Navigation strategy of the IMO, the evaluation of the AIS-TWR method for the asynchronous R-mode for maritime service, which is available even in the absence of the GNSS, is described. For the AIS-TWR, which is capable of ranging through message exchange even without high precision synchronization, the operation scenario and the error factors according to the AIS system specifications are proposed and analyzed. Cramer-Rao Lower Bound is presented for the performance evaluation of the AIS-TWR algorithm. A simulation by AIS-TWR method of two AIS systems in a 3 km static environment shows estimation error of about 41m compared to the real value..

  • IMO adopt the revision of SOLAS convention on requirement systems for ECDIS and considered an ECDIS as the major system for E-Navigation strategy on marine transportation safety and environment protection. ENC(Electronic Navigational Chart) as the base map of ECDIS is considered as a principal information infrastructure that is essential for navigation tasks. Because ENCs are not easy to utilize for being encoded according to ISO/IEC 8211 file format, used for navigational purpose mainly, it's required to utilize in parts of Marine GIS and various marine application. In this paper, we developed KML conversion technology for ENC application. In details, we analyzed data model and encoding method of ENC, schema structure and data file of KML. Based on this results, we developed the program of KML conversion of ENCs.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest logical foundation and points which are necessary for establishing E-commerce cf Korean shipping companies' development strategy and activation plan. In order to do empirical analysis, two step analyses are adopted. Firstly, this study examines the effects of the shipping company character and the shipping environment character on the usage of E-commerce in the shipping companies. Secondly, this study examines the effects of usage of E-commerce on the performance in shipping companies. In the empirical analysis, research hypotheses are being tested mainly by a structural equation model(SEM).

  • Recently, International Maritime Organization has been developing e-navigation implementation strategy plan, which is focused on various services for vessel safety navigation. Then, different kinds of software will be developed in maritime area and with this, the quality issues are to be expected becoming more important. In this paper, we adopt software refactoring techniques to reduce the complexity of structure on source code level. It makes software program more effective to understand and modify, without any change of outward behavior. The existing AIS broadcast server program is used as an example for our trial, and calculating coupling and cohesion metric are introduced to analyze the refactoring effect, taking account of the maintainability of IEC/ISO9126 software quality standards.

  • In this paper, we study the stabilization control if an underwater vehicle from its initial posture to its desired one. We assume tint the underwater vehicle has velocity constraint, i.e. it has no velocity component for some direction. Our approach is based on the nonholonomic system which am derived from velocity constraints that cannot integrable. We proposed a control strategy for posture control of the underwater vehicle using multi-rate digital control. The proposed control scheme is applied to the berthing control if an underwater vehicle and verified the effectiveness if control strategy by numerical simulation.

  • As Internet has been spreading and popularizing, lots of industries of he society are changing their industries to be compatible to the internet. In other works may companies are investing for Electronic Commerce to change their industries....so there are lots of company to introduce electronic commerce in his industrial fields and this kind of tendency is increasing now, because electronic commerce has a lot of advantages this kind of tendency has been trying in the shipping industrial fields... so we an find lots of marine electronic commerce sites in the internet by a searching engine. these sites insist their site is real portal in the shipping field.. But actually their sites just e-commericalize a field or some fields of shipping, So they cann't insist their site is a real portal site But in this kind of tendency, real shipping portal site will be made someday but not so long.. so we want to show contents and strategy real shipping portal site should possess by comparison and generalization with existing shipping portal sites.
