  • I think it is valuable to make Chinese ancient character 'Inscriptions on Bones and Tortoise Carapaces' hieroglyphics popular by combining with the digital. Because Chinese characters are ideograms, it has a huge visual effect. When it is thought over meanings with imaged data by using digital technology, it can be easier to conflate Chinese academia and humanities academia, moreover other academia that uses Chinese characters such as jurisprudence or business administration. I believe not only union of humanities and natural science in the global era can be the best example of the word 'consilience', which I mentioned before, but also people enjoy usability from educations, invention of learning contents or open learning to a cultural field by coming into wide use. Futhermore, it should contribute to changing the image of Chinese characteristics from existing difficult stereotype to positive image.

  • In the N-Screen environment, HTML5 standard-based content development is inevitable. However, it is still passive the development of HTML5 manipulation type contents due to high development cost and insufficient infrastructure. Therefor we propose an efficient contents development model by convergence multimedia contents (such as video and audio) with HTML5 documents that can implement dynamic manipulation for user interaction. The proposed model is designed to divide the multimedia and iframe areas in the HTML5 layout page included the player for integrated contents control.   • In this paper, we developed an virtual lecture to study digital logic circuits. The contents is intended fer the students without or with little knowledge about electrics or electronics. For the beginners, the lecture contains the basic electronics and basic circuit theory as well as the degital logic circuits to be more practical lecture. And we developed the virtual circuit lab which uses real-like devices, circuits and interactive objects for the students to experience practical digital circuits. With the features described above, this contents would be useful for the beginners who want to studying digital logic circuits.

  • Throughout the years, cybersecurity incidents related to the shipbuilding and maritime industries are occurring more frequently as the IT industry develops. Accordingly, expertise in the information protection industry is necessary, and effective education contents on information protection are needed for this purpose. Recently, there have been more and more cases of increasing user experience by applying Metaverse technology to the educational field. Therefore, this study analyzes the existing information protection education and training and the information protection education contents in the maritime industries and proposes four directions for content development (i.e., online education and seminars, cybersecurity threat learning of virtual ships, accident reproduction, and maritime cybersecurity exhibition operation).

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a test and verifying the validity and reliability for measuring a effectiveness of e-earning course in cyber university. Twenty-five items were developed based on literature review and were examined by experts in the field. For item analysis, EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) was performed with 768 students in first study. In order to validate the test, CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) was conducted with 791 students in second study. The result of the study yielded five factors with 25 items: 1) contents and design, 2) instructor, 3) system, 4) evaluation, and 5) overall course satisfaction. And this research reports the reliability and validity of new test.

  • As modern society rapidly changes, the field of education has also developed speedily. Since Edunet system developed in 1996, many different systems are developing continuously such as Center for Teaching and Learning, cyber home learning systems, diagnosis prescribing systems, video systems, teaching and counseling, and study management systems. However, the aforementioned systems have had not great response from the educational consumers due to a lack of interconnection. There are several reasons for it. One of the reasons is that program administrators did not carefully consider the continuity of each programs but established a brand new system whenever they need rather than predict or consider the future needs. The suitable system for smart education should be one big integrated system based on many different data analysis and processing. The system should also supply educational consumers various and useful information by adopting the idea of bigdata rather than a single sign on system connecting each independent system. The cloud computing system should be established as a system that can be managed not as simple compiled files and application programs but as various contents and DATA.

  • The Self-reported Evaluation tool developed in this study allows the learners to check and evaluate their own learning by determining the details that are self-assessed. Also this tool allows learners to receive feedback on their self - evaluation results. In this study pre - post test was performed to investigate the effect of self - assessment on the learners' tendency of studying math. The result showed that Self-reported evaluation improved self - confidence, self - strategy on learning mathematics, and meta-cognitive ability. Also by conducting a qualitative analysis of the Self-reported evaluation, students practiced the cognitive activities such as summarizing the contents they have learned that day. They also tried to understand and improve the learning habit, attitude, and learning state. Teachers were also able to communicate with students by providing individual questions and feedback through student's individual Self-reported Evaluation.

  • This paper is intended to provide a good lecture to computer utilizing courses in the Department of Nursing, therefore first analyzes the outlines of relevant qualifying examinations as well as the contents of the textbooks and syllabus that are currently taught in universities, and then design the curriculum by applying blended learning for effective proceedings of computer-utilizing course. The curriculum for computer-utilizing course which this paper suggests is based on blended learning which blends face-to-face classes with e-learning classes, and its two tracks of teaching and practice include weekly core areas, teaching goals, and subjects. Therefore, this curriculum is expected to lead to excellent learning outcomes as it will become a good teaching scheme for teachers and will motivate students to acquire license. and to find employment.

A Study on the VPBL Model for SW Liberal Education (SW 교양 교육을 위한 VPBL 모델에 관한 연구)

  • This paper studies VPBL(Various PBL) models, applies them to classes, and analyzes results so that students of various majors can design and implement problems according to the characteristics of their majors in order to improve problem solving in education. VPBL performs the process of designing and implementing problems that reflect the characteristics of the major by applying constraints to the professor's programming language. The professor performs mini_class in the process of solving the designed problem and then shares it throughout. VPBL model apply results, The traditional teaching method was 3.51 points and the application of the VPBL model was 4.52 points, and "interaction, understanding of learning contents, and acquiring knowledge related to curriculum" were improved. In addition, VPBL has the advantage of expanding the learning range in the solving process as it is based on various problem solving, which has the effect of expanding the learning range compared to existing class models. Research on the expanded application of various SW liberal education in the future is required.

  • Recently, as the number of smart devices (such as smart TV or Web based IPTV) increases, the way of digital broadcast contents is changed. This change leads that conventional broadcast media accepts Web platform and its services to provide more quality contents. Based on this change, in education field, education broadcasting also follows the trend. The traditional education broadcasting platforms, which just delivered the lecture in one-way, are utilized the Web technology to make interaction between teacher and student. Current education platforms, however, are insufficient to satisfy users' demands for two-way interactions. This paper proposes a new remote collaborative learning platform which able to provide high interactivity among users. Based on new functional requirements from original use case, the platform provides collaborative contents sharing and collaborative video streaming techniques by utilizing WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) technology. The implementation demonstrates the operability of proposed system.
