  • In this paper, we propose a novel construction scheme for the personalized e-Learning system based on IRT(item response theory), which can be applied to the content including non-hierarchical and horizontal learning objects in its learning nodes. Especially the proposed system performs tests and re-estimates examinee ability during the learning nodes are operating so that the results are directly applied to the next node. This scheme can be called a dynamic relationship between test and learning which is totally different from conventional customization based on learning procedures separated from test steps. Moreover, we should periodically modify the averages of node difficulties, item parameters, and ability parameters of students so that the system have more accurate personalized learning capability. As a result, this scheme maximizes learning efficiency offering the most appropriate learning objects and items to the individual students according to their estimated abilities and the system itself should obtain continuous improvements by modifying the parameters and fulfilling periodical feedbacks.

  • Many believe that electronic distance teaming education transform higher education, saving money and improving learning qualify So, the open University, which teaches around 280,000 students at a distance, is examining the adaption of its distance teaching methods for the internet. But, there are only one type of distance learning education of one way direction. To understand all of a student which selected some of e teaming course, teacher must check that how many student to understand and what is the difficult problems. Without checking this condition, It will be a very difficult and boring distance learning course. In this paper, we introduce of intelligent learning contents of full duplex direction that teach understanding student and not understanding student. The computer simulation results confirms that full duplex e learning system has been proven to be much more efficient than one way direction which not considering about understanding problems.

  • Learners show lower cooperation and responsibility at e-Learning(Electronic Learning) than face-to-face learners in class. Accordingly the LMS(Learning Management System) focus on collaborative learning design in order to promote the learner's interaction. In this paper, the Experience Learning Support System with JXTA-based P2P(Peer-to-Peer) architecture is proposed for an effective collaborative learning and a blended learning. It intends learners to develop a self-leading learning ability and a creative problem-solving ability through experience learning object's sharing. The experimental results described that the proposed system was more effective in an enhancing learner's learning ability and a cooperative learning than existing system.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the impact on low-achievers in mathematics who studied mathematics using Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction after school. Blended e-learning is defined as the management of e-learning using the e-study run by the education office in local. Personalized system of instruction was proceeded as follows; (1) all students are given a syllabicated learning task and a study guide, (2) students study the material autonomously according to their own pace for a certain period of time, (3) the teacher strengthens the students' motivation through grading and feedback after students study a subject and solve the evaluation problem. The learning materials for Personalized system of instruction are re-edited the offline education contents provided by the blended e-learning to the level of students. The 118 $7^{th}$ grade students from the D middle school participated in this study. The results were verified by achievement tests before and after the study, as well as survey regarding their attitude toward mathematics. The results are as follows. First, Blended e-learning has more positive impacts than Personalized system of instruction in mathematics achievement. Second, there was no difference in mathematics achievement according to their self-directed learning between Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction. Third, both types utilizing Blended e-learning and Personalized system of instruction have positive effect on attitude toward mathematics, and there is not their difference between two methods of teaching and learning mathematics.

  • Effectiveness of the e-learning hands-on practice in the engineering education depends on the quality of the contents of which simulation is a part and the teaching strategy of the instructor. Instructors who develop and use the simulation-included e-learning content should employ various teaching and learning activities which would make online simulation practice effective. Thus, the strategy for the effective e-learning simulated practice in engineering courses should be known and used effectively. The aim of this paper is to classify the development methods of the simulations and the teaching and learning activities of the development types classified. The comparison of the teaching and learning activities leads to suggestion on teaching and learning strategy for effective use of the online simulation in engineering education.

  • Purpose - Recently, in the field of language education, interest in edutech has increased due to difficulties in classroom teaching due to COVID-19. Accordingly, we would like to analyze research topics related to e-learning before and after COVID-19 and examine the implications for the future Korean language education field. Research design, data, and methodology - This study organized a list of papers to be analyzed by searching for e-learning terms applicable to Korean language education in RISS. The collected data was electronically documented, keywords were extracted using text mining techniques, and word frequencies were checked, and then viewed through cloud visualization. Result - It was confirmed that research on e-learning in the field of Korean language education has increased rapidly in 2021 and 2022. In particular, extensive research on online learning methods has been actively conducted due to the difficulties of face-to-face learning in the COVID-19 era. There have been many studies on teaching and learning methods, such as flipped learning, hybrid learning, blended learning, mobile learning, and smart learning. Conclusion - Since the research so far has mainly focused on online class management methods. Therefore, future research suggests that efforts should be made to develop educational contents and teaching methods using specific ICT technologies. These efforts will contribute to advancing smart education that future education aims for.

  • Because the lessons of 'our body' are based on indirect experiences and simple experiments, various methods are needed to improve the learning effect. In this study, seventeen AR contents were created to be used in five subjects in the 5th grade elementary school. The learning contents implementation were made using QCAR (QualComm's Augmented Reality) and Unity 3D (Unity 3D) program, which are augmented reality software development kits (SDKs). In order to find out the applicability, we applied the developed contents to one grade 5 classroom equipped with internet environment. Participants were asked about their perception of the program and interviewed. As a result, the developed AR learning contents appeared to be available. It was expected to help improve learning and was pointed out that improvement of internet condition and development, also, was needed expansion of various contents should be complemented.

  • The purpose of this study are to figure out whether there are the meaningful differences between learner's learning achievements and contents preference in accordance with the delivery strategies (instructor-focused model, learner-focused model) of learning materials suggested by Bloom in web-based instruction, and to suggest the various options on the contents delivery strategies to improve the learner's learning achievements of each learning domains. Learning domains were divided by the cognitive domain, the affective domain, and the psychomotor domain. The result of research with 182 learners showed that learner-focused model in the cognitive domain caused higher learning achievements and preference than instructor-focused model. And instructor-focused model in the psychomotor domain compared with learner-focused model caused higher learning achievements and preference. However, there were less meaningful differences in the affective domain. In other words, learner-focused model is appropriate to the feature of the cognitive domain while instructor-focused model is appropriate to the feature of the psychomotor domain. The results suggest that delivery strategies should be chosen by domains of learning contents in order to improve learner's learning achievements in web-based instruction. Learner-focused delivery strategies in the cognitive domain and instructor-focused delivery strategies in the psychomotor domain need to be considered positively. Delivery strategies should be studied and developed in order to lead higher learning achievements and preference.

  • Research on ways to improve e-learning effectiveness has been actively conducted due to the increased numbers of web-based e-learning learners. Of many variables related to e-learning effectiveness, self-regulated learning strategy and presence have been reported as major factors that influences academic achievement in e-learning settings. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self-regulated learning strategy and presence on academic achievement in web-based e-learning. In addition, this study tried to provide useful basic data for successful support and design of e-learning by verifying the mediating effect of these variables. As a result, it was verified that teaching presence and social presence have mediating effects in the relationship between self-regulated learning strategy and perceived achievement in web-based e-learning. Moreover, subjective perception of student's academic achievement played a mediating role between learners' perceived presence and academic achievement. Through this study, it is verified that it is necessary to search for ways to improve the level of learners' teaching presence and social presence in web-based e-learning design in order to eventually improve academic achievement.
