As environmental problems and water-shortage phenomenon become a global issue, many states look for the effective method to use water resources. So, decentralized rainwater management is recognized as a new water management system that rainwater can be infiltrated and used on-site. But it is little difficult to build a park, lake, and forest for evaporating rainwater in city because the land price of city is very high. In order to build an excellent infiltration system for a dwelling and a park in Korea, KICT has developed Linear infiltration system. This infiltration system is consist of first flush treatment, storage and infiltration, overflow control system. These elements are connected closely and working as a combined system. A storm sewer can be changed by the linear infiltration system. This study is to show real application idea about Linear infiltration system with improving some detail in apartments. For this purpose, we devide application idea into the artificial ground and the natural ground and each ground type, suggest a method to cooperate with the other landscape and linear infiltration system. Through this study, we came to recognize a recognition difference of an expert and a commoner about decentralized rainwater management.

Steven Holl is outstanding architect who has been applied his phenomenological thinking to his works. he has been reported that he had adhered to focus his interest on coherent phenomenological theme and sublimated his architectural concept succesfully. This study focuses on relationship how phenomenological concept has common ground with architectural parts and with the study on phenomenological application methodology of architectonics of Steven Holl. In the case of Holl, with the theme of sense and flesh, he molds phenomenologically sensitive space. His works contains coherent phenomenolgical concepts such as distrust of rationality, synthesis of consciousness, and qeustions of perception. The Methodologies of connection with environment(nature or bridge), regional values, placeness, light and time are considered in his works(books and architectural works) as anchoring, interwining and parallax for phenomenological process in his concepts. His methodologies of enlisted works contain many valuable concepts of phenomenological intuition and would be applicable to contemporary and future architecture for humanism.

When it comes to discussing the natural behaviors of human life, defining the word "community" itself can be extremely crucial. The word "Community" can be defined as a group of interacting human beings sharing an environment. It is also the basic form for "dwelling" which can be explained as a quint essential factor in human life. Compared to the previous traditional society with strong bonding and close chemistry between neighbors, modern society with simple and monolithic apartments brought a literal extinction of what has been called as a 'relationship'. Hence, people started to take this phenomenon as a problematic issue. Also, high-rise apartments made its residents more isolated and individualistic on a growing basis. In order to aid the aggravating symptoms, there has been a wide recognition between the "dwellers" to develop and strengthen their "community". This movement in strengthening the "community" is currently on a full expansion towards the cyber space, riding the tides of a drastic improvement of the Internet. Apartment web sites today not only displays introductory level of information they also provide wider meanings of general lifestyle plus deeper content, which can enhance their community.

This paper draws the home into the stream of information and communications technology (ICT) development. Considering that homes and our home life are constantly affected by persistent change influenced by ICT, it is remarkable that ICT has been relatively neglected as an object of research in the field of housing studies. This study provides an overview of conceptual movements in ICT/home relationships and their design and social impact through a critical discourse analysis. The conceptual movements must be considered by professionals in the field of housing and built environment to stay attuned to changes in the 21st Century. Diverse debates took place in the discourse about ICT in relation to home. The stream of thought was started by futurists who saw the electronic cottage as a solution to the social problems caused by the separation of work and home life in industrial cities. ICT has now entered a new phase, with WiFi P2P networks and location-based social media that encourage sharable homes. Based on the analysis of the discourse on ICT and home, we drew from three issues related to the paradigm shifts in homes in the context of ICT development to provide future directions for housing studies: from space programming to time scheduling, from individual ownership to shared access, and from live+work dwelling to live+work+community.

과반수 이상의 국민이 살게 된 아파트 환경은 거주자의 요구 특성이 충분히 반영되지 못한 상황에서 물량공급적 측면만이 강조되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 조만간 주택보급률이 100%에 육박할 것으로 전망되고 전반적인 생활수준의 향상과 함께 수요자의 다양한 거주 환경에 대한 욕구변화가 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 거주자의 욕구 특성을 파악하고 현 거주 환경에 대한 만족도 및 선호경향의 변화를 분석해 보는 것은 거주자의 주요구를 파악할 수 있는 지표로서 바람직한 주거환경 창조를 위한 필수 선행과제이다. 본 연구는 설문조사를 통해 아파트 거주자들을 중심으로 아파트 주거환경에 대한 만족도 및 선호도를 조사 분석함으로써 거주자 요구충족을 중심으로 한 아파트 공간계획의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The principal measure of housing demand is income and the preferences expressed by households through their respective indifference curves. In this context, housing essentially becomes a derived demand, i.e., the household consumes land and a location (or distance-in time and money costs), according to its relative preferences for space, accessibility, and all other nonhousing goods. This paper attempts to deal with both aspects of housing (apartment) demand and household mobility in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas. Housing services will be measured using hedonic regression technique. From observations on the market prices of dwelling units and on the underlying characteristics of housing, one can estimte the relationships between the two empirically. In predicting the probability of the future moves into new towns in the Seoul Metropolitan areas, the best predictors of the future moves into new best predictors are found to be the degree of satisfaction not only with the current residence as a whole, but with some of the major amenities, accessibility and child education. The reasons for moving into new towns are diverse depending on the households' current situation; the most frequently cited is "improvement of housing conditions," followed by "improvement of living environment," "asset improvement" and "home ownership". It appears that people move houses because of a dissatisfaction with their current housing status, relative their income or needs, or a desire to improve their housing and neighborhood amenities, or both. On the other hand, it is clear that the development of new towns in the Seoul Metropolitan Areas should be based on the analysis of housing demand and the pattern of household mobility in Seoul housing market.sehold mobility in Seoul housing market.

Comparing with an upper generation who have experienced a living with a extended family in a sudden aged tendency, the Parent & Children generation who haven't had a experience in it. So they have much different life styles each generation. It may cause many problems that many generation are living in a common residential space. Further more every generation gets their own characteristic of the life style. In addition, the middle & lower generations's understanding can be explained on their position about an Grand-parent generation's using. In this study, I am going to find out the problems in these situation in comparison with each generation's understanding dwelling environment among them, and then analyze what affection of 3-generation sharing preference standard is given by the differences each generation have with the above result. The standard of living with an Grand-parent generation ; Children generation or living separately through evaluating the Parent & Children generation's residence surroundings will be estimated and the standard of importance of sharing house will be analyzed. And then the result will be used as basic information of planning the 3-generation sharing house.

The Landscape Drawing is the main medium for constructing better environment which provides human beings with a place for dwelling well, even though it has some limitations. To provide places for people's daily lives, by what measure do we design\ulcorner, by what measure do we give dimension\ulcorner, and how can we appropriately measure the place with drawing\ulcorner On any given site, of course, much has already happened, i.e, there is history. Any adequate interpretation of such a site should poetically take into account the present effects of its absent past. The findings to reveal the meaning and methodology of landscape drawings in the environmental design with a case study are as follows: (1) The value of landscape drawings is the poetic, artistic interpretation which we sense and bodily experience through the simultaneous exposure of the site's temporal, spatial, and tactile conditions. (2) The landscape drawing should represent the invisible (imaginary) world as well as the visible (physical) world. (3) There can be classified as two methods in representing the rich experience of a place: expression and notation. Expression is the abstract representation and do not have a direct relationship to construction due to its ambiguous and connotative structure. But notation is constructional due to it's purely objective symbol system which is obviously denotative structure. (4) Collage is a medium of specific act that can represent the complex layered phenomena and the rich experience of given site. (5) The landscape drawings represent not only topographical space which can be measured objectively, but also topic which can be cognized culturally.

In general, post-installed dowel bars are used as a shear connector to ensure the composite actions between new slabs and existing slabs in an apartment remodelling constructions expecially for enlarging the interior space outward the existing buildings. But, it has not been checked that the connection performance between existing and new slab is satisfactory not only for the structural safety condition but also the for serviceability and dwelling requirements. In this research, an experimental works were presented to evaluate the load transfer capacity for the planar joints between existing and new slab. The existing slabs were obtained from the existing apartment housing which will be demolished, and were retrofitted with carbon fiber plate. Test results showed that the planar joints with post-installed dowel bars behaved in full composite modes until ultimate capacity of test specimens, so sufficient ultimate and serviceability performance are confirmed.
