이중마이크로프로세서의 이용과 분산처리기법을 도입한 선박용 원격제어 시스템의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Ship's Distributed Remote Control System Using Dual-Microprocessor)

  • In this paper design and implementation of ship's distributed remote control system using dual-microprocessor is presented for real time process. The proposed system is implemented with the single chip microprocessors in tightly coupled mode and results in speed up of $s_p$=1.74. Under the assumption that the nodes are interconnected in multidrop, the overall system performance such as average throughout-delay characteristics and effective throughput are analyzed using M/G/1 queneing model, and results show that the proposed node can be used in medium sized distributed monitoring and control system.

  • Design and implementation of monitoring and control system using dual-microprocessor node is presented for real time process.   • Real time communication is very important in factory automation system using FieldBus. In this paper, we Propose the method to drive dual motors with one controller using CAN In traditional induction motor control technique, two independent Inverters are used to drive dual motors independently. In this case, two controllers are needed. Our proposed dual motors control scheme which use only one microprocessor has many advantages in the view of economic and performance compared to conventional technique.

  • In this paper, a single-phase PFC (Power Factor Correction) dual boost converter based on input voltage estimation is studied for DC inverter air conditioner. It is focused on improving input power factor and power quality to satisfy the recent harmonic current regulation standards. Furthermore the input voltage estimation is introduced for price competitive products. A low cost and reasonable control system is implemented using a specified high-speed 32-bit microprocessor. Their effectiveness are verified through theoretical analysis and experiments.

  • 오늘날 마이크로프로세서의 설계는 전력 소모 문제만이 아닌 온도 문제에서도 자유롭지 않다. 제조 공정의 미세화와 고밀도 회로 집적화가 칩의 전력 밀도를 높이게 되어 열성 현상을 발생시키기 때문이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 제안된 동적 온도 제어 기술은 냉각 비용을 줄이는 동시에 칩의 온도 신뢰성을 높인다는 장점을 가지지만, 냉각을 위해 프로세서의 성능을 희생해야 하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프로세서의 성능 저하를 최소화하면서 온도를 제어하기 위해 듀얼 레지스터 파일 구조를 제시한다. 온도 제어를 고려하였을 때 가장 관심을 끄는 것은 레지스터 파일 유닛이다. 특히 정수형 레지스터 파일 유닛은 그 빈번한 사용으로 인하여 프로세서 내부에서 가장 높은 온도를 가진다. 듀얼 레지스터 파일 구조는 정수형 레지스터 파일에 대한 읽기 접근을 두 개의 레지스터 파일에 대한 접근으로 분할하는데, 이는 기존 레지스터 파일이 소모하는 동적 전력을 감소시켜 열성 현상을 제거하는 효과를 가져온다. 그 결과 동적 온도 제어 기법에 의한 프로세서 성능 감소를 완화시키는데, 평균 13.35% (최대 18%)의 성능 향상을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • A digital controller uses a microprocessor and is a controller implemented as a program. This method has the advantage of being more maintenance-friendly than existing analog controllers. However, it inevitably requires computation time to execute the internal program. Therefore, the digital controller uses a method of controlling the system at a certain cycle by considering this time, and this cycle is very closely related to the performance of the microprocessor used. In other words, in the case of very high performance, this control cycle can be shortened to near real time, but this may result in a disadvantage in terms of cost. In this paper, we propose a method to solve this problem by implementing two processors with slightly lower performance in a control system in a series-parallel structure. For this purpose, we will use a digital distributed control system and implement an experimental system to examine its effectiveness.

  • This paper describes a multi-computer system developed for CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing) system, which combines single board computers and personal computers by using RS422/485 communication and LAN. The system adopts a concept of hot run back up system based on dual CUP system of host and supervisor structure. The dual CPU system and the single board computer are respectively developed using 32 bits microcomputer and 16 bits microprocessor. 8097BH. The multi communication between two types of system is done by using RS 422/485, and also data logging computers are linked with LAN.

  • In this paper we propose nonlinear control system for automatic unmanned vehicle using a RC (Radio Controlled) car which is usually controlled by a remote controller. In the proposed system, a RC car is dissembled and reassembled with several parts enabling it to be controlled by an android mobile platform with Bluetooth communication. In our system, an android mobile smartphone is mounted on the RC car and plays an important role as an eye of the car. The proposed system automatically controls the RC car to follow a lane that we draw on the floor of our laboratory. Also, the proposed RC car system can also be controlled manually using the accelerometer sensor of a smartphone through a Bluetooth module. Our proposed system that has both manual mode and automatic mode consists of several components; a microprocessor unit, a Bluetooth serial interface module, a smartphone, a dual motor controller and a RC toy car. We are now in the development of a group driving system in which one car follows the front car that tracks a lane automatically.
