  • We propose a coordinated motion control algorithm of dual manipulators handling a flexible object. The controller is designed so that it can specify the apparent impedance of the object as well as can control its deformation. The experimental results will illustrate validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • A prototype of a dual-stator axial-flux PM vernier machine with rated 5.5kW output power at 300rpm speed is constructed and tested to verify its competitive performance and the reliability of the proposed design approach and the FEM simulation results.

  • This paper presents a general description of single and dual contact tooling systems, finite element analysis, and discussions on the application of the system to the 5-head router machine which is in particular for aerospace components. This study has been performed as part of the development of the new generation 5-head router machine which is designed for high productivity. Such high productivity in essence requires high speed rotation and multiple spindles in one machine. The high speed rotation may exceed a range in a conventional single contact tooling system. The conventional tooling system is reevaluated in comparison with the dual-contact system. Finite element analysis using simplified spindle models compares major differences in the two systems. Some problems in the application to the 5-head router machine are discussed.

  • This paper shows the method of winding connection and the balance of three phase of dual inverter systems used for offshore wind power generator. In order to satisfy low cost manufacturing of large scaled wind generator, the number of slot per pole per phase should be reduced. For this reason, in this research, the number is selected as '1' which is the minimum number that stator can have. Based on the prototype machine, three types of machine for the analysis are selected, and various performances especially in terms of electrically balanced condition are also investigated. Moreover, in this paper, new inductance modeling of dual 3-phase considering cross-coupling between two inverter systems is proposed. The several inductances such as mutual-, synchronous inductances are studied. By using FEA, based on calculated the flux linkage of d and q-axis, the validity of the proposed inductance modeling is confirmed.

  • In this paper, a new dual-rate digital control technique for the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy system is suggested. The proposed method takes account of the stabilizablity of the discrete-time T-S fuzzy system at the fast-rate sampling points. Our main idea is to utilize the lifted control input. The proposed approach is to obtain the dual-rate discrete-time T-S fuzzy system by discretizing the overall dynamics of the T-S fuzzy system with the lifted control, and then to derive the sufficient conditions for the stabilization in the sense of the Lyapunov asymptotic stability for this system.

  • A robust end time optimal conかof strategy for dual-stage servo system is presented. The time optimal trajectory for a mass-damper system is determined and given os a reference input to the servo system. The feedback controller is constructed so that the fine stage tracks the coarse stage errors and robustly designed as the“perturbation compensated sliding mode control(PCSMC)”law, a combination of slid-ing mode controller(SMC) and perturbation observer(PO). In addition, a null motion controller which regulates the fine stage at its neutral position is designed based on the“dynamic consistency”So, the overall dual-stage servo system exhibits the robust and time-optimal performance. The inherent merit and performance of the dual-stage system will be shown.

  • A Dual-Path Ethernet Module(DPEM) is developed to improve Local Area Network (LAN)'s performance, High Availability(H/A) and security. Since a DPEM simply locates at the front end of any network device as a transparent add-on, it does not require sophisticated server reconfiguration. Our evaluation results show that the developed scheme is more efficient than conventional LAN structures in various aspects.

  • We research properties of ternary numbers and hyperholomorphic functions with values in $\mathbb{C}$(2). We represent reduced quaternion numbers and obtain some propertries in dual reduced quaternion systems in view of Clifford analysis. Moreover, we obtain Cauchy theorems with respect to dual reduced quaternions.

  • The researches of Linear Programming are Khachiyan Method, which uses Ellipsoid Method, and Karmarkar, Affine, Path-Following and Interior Point Method which have Polynomial-Time complexity. In this study, Karmarkar Method is more quickly solved as 50 times then Simplex Method for optimal solution. but some special problem is not solved by Karmarkar Method. As a result, the algorithm by APL Language is proved time efficiency and optimal solution in the Primal-Dual interior point algorithm. Furthermore Karmarkar Method and Primal-Dual interior point Method is compared in some examples.
