  • 이 논문에서는 충격성 잡음이 있는 비선택적 라이시안 페이딩 채널에서 부호 상관 수신기를 쓴 DS/SSMA 계통의 성능을 분석하였다. 이 계통의 평균 이진 오류 확률을 확산 수열이 짧을 때에는 정확한 계산으로, 확산 수열이 길 때에는 근사적인 방법으로 얻었다.

Comparison of Beam Delivery Modes in Prostate Cancer Proton Therapy: A Treatment Planning Comparison Study (전립선암 환자 양성자치료 시 빔 전달방식에 따른 치료계획 비교)

  • Purpose: After making two plans, the Double Scattering (DS) Mode and The Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS) Mode, of patients on early prostate cancer, we not only compare the dose conformity and the dose homogeneity by analyzing each DVH, CN and HI, but also evaluate normal structures's sparing effect on each mode. Materials and Methods: Planes about nine patients, who did proton therapy, on prostate cancer was setted using the Eclipse proton external beam planning system. The prescription dose, every $2.5 Gy{\times}28$ fractions=70 Gy, was delivered to the PTV. The CN and the HI were getted by anlazing each DVHs for the DS Plan and the PBS Plan. Also, normal structures' %volumes according to dose of the PBS are campared with those of the DS. Results: The average CN of the PTV is increase 16.63% from DS $0.68{\pm}0.07$ to PBS $0.79{\pm}0.01$, and the average IN of the PTV is decrease -22.66 % from DS $0.12{\pm}0.03$ to PBS $0.09{\pm}0.01$. The PBS has litter %Volumes of normal structures than the DS about every patient except Rectum. The average %Volume of Left Femoral Head receiving ${\geq}30$ Gy shows most high decreasing rate, -79.93%, from DS to PBS and the average %Volume of Rectum receiving ${\geq}70$ Gy shows most low decreasing rate, -3.03%, from DS to PBS. Conclusion: Therefore, the PBS is more effective achieving the dose conformity and the dose Homogeneity than DS, and better to reduce unnecessary dose arriving normal structures, especially the femoral heads.

  • Until now, occurrence of Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) is observed in Gyeongsang provinces, southeastern part of Korea. However, recently, the occurrence of RBSDV is increasing and spreading in Jeonra provinces including Gochang-gun, southwestern part of Korea. RBSDV infected plants showed typical symptoms including stunted, deformed leaves with white waxy or black-streaked swelling along the veins. We extracted viral genomic dsRNA from infected leaves and analyzed dsRNA pattern by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Ten genomic segments with similar sized dsRNAs were observed. We also detected RBSDV by reverse transcription (RT)-PCR using specific primers for S10 from genomic dsRNA and observed amplified DNA fragment specific for RBSDV S10.

  • 본 논문에서는 닌텐도 DS를 이용하여, 임베디드 소프트웨어 교육을 수행하기 위한 준비 과정과, 실제 교육 내용을 소개하고, 향후 계획을 공유하고자 한다. 닌텐도 DS는 가격이 저렴한 게임기로 ARM9, ARM7 두 개의 CPU를 가지고 있으며, 기본적인 입출력 장치, 그래픽 가속기, 무선랜 등을 모두 포함하고 있다. 우리는 이 닌텐도 DS에 실시간 운영체제인 FreeRTOS를 이식하고, Eclipse 기반의 IDE 개발 도구 및 원격 디버깅 환경을 구축하였다. 또, 교육 과정에서는 하드웨어의 제어, RTOS의 기본 API의 활용, IPC, 동기화 문제의 해결에 이르는 주제를 포함함으로써 임베디드 소프트웨어 엔지니어가 지녀야할 기본적인 스킬들을 두루 다루는 실습이 되도록 구성하였다. 개발된 교육 환경 및 실습을 위한 강의 자료는 공개 소프트웨어로서 100% 공개되어 누구나 이용할 수 있다.

Comparison of mass operator methods considering test uncertainties

  • In the space industry, structures undergo several vibration and acoustic tests in order to verify their design and give confidence that they will survive the launch and other critical in-orbit dynamic scenarios. At component level, vibration tests are conducted with the aim to reach local or global interface loads without exceeding the design loads. So, it is often necessary to control and limit the input based on a load criterion. This means the test engineer should be able to assess the interface loads, even when load cannot be measured. This paper presents various approaches to evaluate interface loads using measured accelerations and by referring to mass operators. Various methods, from curve fitting techniques to finite element-based methods are presented. The methods are compared using signals with known imperfection to identify strengths and weaknesses of each mass operator definition.

  • In this contribution, the achievable performance of orthogonal multicarrier DS-CDMA systems employing synchronous uplink transmissions is investigated. The bit error ratio (BER) performance is analyzed under dispersive Rayleigh multipath fading conditions as a function of the number of users.

  • A comprehensive extension of functions and efficiency of the software system, DS/Block, developed earlier for the purpose of simulation of the motion of a ship block during lifting and turnover operation. A viewpoint change used in 3D-CAD is utilized and saves the time for displays of a series of configurations for the motion. The Euler parameters are adopted to convert 3 rotational degrees of freedom about global coordinate system to those about local coordinate system defined in Pro/ENGINEER. DS/Block provides FEM input data for stress and strain analyses. Several functions are incorporated for user-friendliness. DS/Block is to be tested and installed in a shipyard.

  • 2 types of geogrids and geotextiles was used to evaluate shear behaviors after installation damage test. Shear behaviors were compared after installation damage test and coefficient of resistance to direct sliding($f_{ds}$) was estimated by theoretical shear analysis. Shear strength of damaged geogrid decreased under high normal stress of 150kPa and shear strength of geotextile decreased with increasing normal stress. It is seen that $f_{ds}$ values after installation damage decreased than before installation damage through comparison calculated $f_{ds}$ by direct theoretical shear analysis. $f_{ds}$ values to be calculated by theoretical shear analysis were changed with before and after installation damage.

  • In DS/CDMA(direct sequence code division multiple access) system using the approximated analytic chip waveforms are applied. Proposed chip waveforms are classified into 2 types: uniform chip waveforms with uniform envelope and non-uniform chip waveforms with non-uniform envelope. It has confirmed that the similarity of the approximated analytical chip waveforms is compared using chip waveforms, envelope, phase, correlation, and bandwidth properties.

  • 전력선 채널 잡음은 전력선에 연결되어 있는 전기기기들에 의하여 변화하는 특성을 갖으며, 이러한 잡음 특성을 극복하기 위한 한가지 방법으로 DS/SS 방식을 적용하는 방법이 있다. 그러나 저속 DS/SS 전력선 모뎀의 경우 낮은 데이터전송률 때문에, 잡음 특성을 개선하기 위하여 Chip 수가 큰 PN code를 적용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전원 전압에 동기되어 잡음의 양이 변화하는 것에 따라 PN code를 변경하는 방법[1]을 적용하고자 하였다. 전력선 채널의 잡음은 비교적 부하가 고정적인 가로등 전력선 채널로 한정하여 잡음을 모델링 하였으며, 전원전압에 맞추어 잡음의 양에 따라 PN code 길이를 변경하는 FSK 방식의 DS/SS 시스템을 구성하여 시뮬레이션 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 적용된 시스템이 전력선 채널에서 효과적 성능을 발휘함을 확인하였다.
