This study started to confirm and prove for the applicability of the dry-process waterproofing system to cover the defects of the wet-process waterproofing system according to weather circumstance, foundation condition and maintenance, etc. This process has triple combined waterproofing system using asphalt sheet, metal sheet, engineering plastic film. It is not influenced by the concrete's crack as the foundation of the roof according to the movement of the building because the waterproofing system is designed for maintaining good quality by absorbing the stress of contraction and expansion that is occurred by the variation of temperature. Ali components used in this process can be recycled environmentally. The superiority of this process proved and reconfirmed through with the investigation of about 130 fields, around 30,000nf for two years.
In recent years, silicon carbide has emerged as an important material for MEMS application. In order to fabricate an SiC film based MEMS structure by using chemical etching method, high operating temperature is required due to high chemical stability Therefore, dry etching using plasma is the best solution. SiC film was deposited by thermal CVD at the temperature of 100$0^{\circ}C$ and pressure of 10 torr. SiC was dry etched with a reactive ion etching (RIE) system, using SF$_{6}$/O$_2$ and CF$_4$/O$_2$ gas mixture. Etch rate has been investigated as a function of oxygen concentration in the gas mixture, rf power, working pressure and gas flow rate. Etch rate was measured by surface profiler and FE-SEM. SF$_{6}$/O$_2$ gas mixture showed higher etch rate than CF$_4$/O$_2$ gas mixture. Maximum etch rate appeared at RF Power of 450W. $O_2$ dilute mixtures resulted in an increasing of etch rate up to 40%, and the superior anisotropic cross section was observe

Drying and curing characteristics of PCM resins using the induction heater and short-wave infrared emitter module was studied to develop a compact oven system for the high speed CCL and post-treatment equipment. Drying of the polyester resins using the induction heater and infrared heater showed that the blistering tendency of polyester resin coating increased regardless of additives and colors of resins as the heating rate and/or dry film thickness increased. The blistering of polyester resin coating layer occurred when the heating speed was over than $25^{\circ}C/sec$ for the dry film thickness of $19\~20um$, which is the typical thickness of finish coating in CCL. So did it when the heating speed was over than $40^{\circ}C/sec$ for the dry film thickness over than 10 um. The heating efficiency of paint coated steels by the infrared heating was strongly dependent on the colors of paint coating and generally increased for the dark surface and/or coating. But the faster drying of the PCM resin coatings increased the blistering tendency of coating layer. The blistering limit for the typical finish coating by the infrared heating was estimated as the heating rate slower than $20^{\circ}C/sec$ regardless of colors of PCM resins.
This study was aimed to promote evergreen ferns native to Korea as a material for interior landscape by investigate effects of light quality on the growth of Cyrtomium falcatum and Rumohra aristata, in an indoor environment that artificial light was used, especially. Result of experiments are as follows; 1. Wavelengths were measured as control(=570~580nm), red(=600~610nm), yellow(=550~580nm), green(=500~510nm) and blue(=430~440nm) between different color film. The order of photon flux density was red>yellow>control>green>blue decreased. 2. Although there was no difference in the growth of Cyrtomium falcatum depending on light quality, in case of fronds with sori and new fronds, there were highest under red film. Fresh weight was no significant in all treatments, but dry weight was increased with green>control>yellow>blue>red in order. 3. In case of Rumohra aristata, there was no difference in its growth, however, number of total fronds was highest under green film. Although fresh weight was increased with yellow film, dry weight was highest under green film.
The processing technology of organic thin-film transistors (Ons) performances have improved fur the last decade. Gate insulator layer has generally used inorganic layer, such as silicon oxide which has properties of a low electrical conductivity and a high breakdown field. However, inorganic insulating layers, which are formed at high temperature, may affect other layers termed on a substrate through preceding processes. On the other hand, organic insulating layers, which are formed at low temperature, dose not affect pre-process. Known wet-processing methods for fabricating organic insulating layers include a spin coating, dipping and Langmuir-Blodgett film processes. In this paper, we propose the new dry-processing method of organic gate dielectric film in field-effect transistors. Vapor deposition polymerization (VDP) that is mainly used to the conducting polymers is introduced to form the gate dielectric. This method is appropriate to mass production in various end-user applications, for example, flat panel displays, because it has the advantages of shadow mask patterning and in-situ dry process with flexible low-cost large area displays. Also we fabricated four by four active pixels with all-organic thin-film transistors and phosphorescent organic light emitting devices.
The author studied the magnification ratio of teeth length in orthopantomogram through intraoral film taken by standardized paral1eing technique. In this study, intraoral radiograph and orthopantomogram were taken in 2 cases of dry skull and 36 adults (504 teeth). 1. The obtained results were as follows: In case of dry skull, the magnification ratio of standard films was 4.6% to 5.9% and that of Orthopantomograph 5 was 15.1% to 33.1%. The magnification ratio of to the standard film was 9.2% to 26.5% 2. In case of adults, the magnification ratio of Orthopantomograph 5 to the standard films was 9.5% to 24.6%. 3. There were no significant difference in magnification between left and right. 4. Anterior teeth had lesser magnification than posterior teeth. 5. It was considered that teeth length showed in Orthopontomograph 5 was magnified 15.4% to 31.3% than actual teeth length.
Purpose: To determine whether the mandibular radiomorphometric indices in panoramic radiography are correlated with the bone mineral density of Cu-equivalent images in intraoral film. Materials and Methods: The bone mineral density (BMD) of the mandibular premolar area was measured in the Cu-equivalent image of intraoral film. The Panoramic Mandibular Index (PMI) and Mandibular Cortical Width (MCW) were measured in panoramic radiographs of six dry mandibles, and the Pearson correlation between PMI, MCW, and BMD were tested. Results: There were no significant correlations between PMI and BMD (r = 0.280), nor between MCW and BMD (r =0.237). Conclusion: The results show that PMI and MCW were poor diagnostic indicators of mandibular BMD in the six dry mandibles used in this study. The correlationship between the mandibular radiomorphometric indices (PMI and MCW) and mandibular BMD needs to be researched further using large in vivo patient samples.
An experimental study was performed to discover the effect of environment on the tribological behavior of Si-incorporated diamond-like carbon(Si-DLC) film slid on a steel ball. The films were deposited on Si(100) wafers from radio-frequency glow discharge of mixtures of benzene and dilute silane gases. Experiments using a ball-on-disk test-rig was performed under vacuum, dry air and ambient air conditions. It was observed that coefficient of friction was decreased as the environmental condition changes from vacuum, to dry air. It was also observed that the coefficient of friction decreased with increasing silicon concentration in the film. Chemical analyses of debris suggested that the low and stable friction coefficient is closely related to the silicon rich oxide debris and the rolling action.
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effect of auricular acupressure therapy on reducing the ocular symptoms and signs for dry eye syndrome. Methods: The participants who were aged ≥ 40 years old and met the inclusion criteria of the ocular surface disease index score ≥ 13 and a tear film break-up time ≤ 10 seconds were enrolled into the two groups: experimental group (n=29) and control group (n=27). Experimental group received auricular acupressure therapy for 8 weeks. Seed stickers were applied to the eye, liver and tubercle point of each ear once a week. Data were collected at pre and 4 and 8 weeks after the treatment and analysed the efficacy of intervention by repeated measures ANOVA. Results: There were significant differences in the ocular surface disease index, standard patient evaluation of eye dryness and a tear film break-up time in both eyes at 8 weeks after the treatment between the two groups. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the auricular acupressure therapy may be helpful for relieving symptoms of dry eye as a nursing intervention. In addition, it could also be utilized as a self-care practice using proper education and training.
