압전변압기를 이용한 압전인버터 모듈 제작 및 전기적 특성 (Fabrication and Electrical Properties of Piezoelectric Inverter Module using Piezoelectric Transformer)

  • CCFL 구동용 인버터 모듈 개발을 위해, 내부전극 층수에 따른 Rosen-type 적층형 압전변압기를 제작하였으며, 내부전극 층수에 따른 출력 및 효율을 분석하였다. 압전변압기용 원료로는 PZT계 상용원료를 사용하였으며 구동회로는 Half-bridge 방식을 적용하여 압전인버터 모듈을 제작하였다 제작된 압전인버터 모듈의 입력전압은 12.5 V이고 스위칭 주파수는 104.3 KHz로서 압전인버터 구동시 약 100배의 승압비를 얻었으며, 효율은 87%이다.

  • Legged locomotion has high mobility on irregular surfaces by touching the ground at discrete points. Inspired by the creature's legged locomotion, legged robots have been developed to explore unstructured environments. In this paper, we propose a modular crawler that can easily adjust the number of legs for adapting the environment that the robot should move. One module has a pair of legs, so the number of legs can be adjusted by changing the number of modules. All legs are driven by a single driving motor for simple and compact design, so the driving axle of each module is connected by the universal joint. Universal joints between modules enable the body flexion for steering or overcoming higher obstacles. A prototype of crawler with three modules is built and the driving performance and the effect of module lifting on the ability to overcome obstacles are demonstrated by the experiments.

  • A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) module consists of a discharge panel, a SMPS(Switched Mode Power Supply) for power supply, driving boards for panel control, and a logic board. Driving boards supply high voltage pulses to induce glow discharge in the PDP panel. The electrical pulses excite the circuit elements and subsequently generate acoustic noises. The main sources of the noise in the circuit are the transformer of SMPS and the power MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) of driving boards, and the heat sinks often amplify the noise level. The reduction of the acoustic noises was achieved by modifying both the structural and circuit elements. The structural method was executed by the improvement of heat sinks. The optimization of SMPS and condensers was carried out for the circuit elements.

  • A 2.2" QVGA($320{\times}240$) 262,114 color AMOLED module has been developed using digital driving methodology. In this paper, we discuss the development of diver IC which is applied to Digital AMOLED module. Technologies for low cost IC structure and image quality enhancement are presented.

  • A prototype of 25-inch SMPDP module had been developed by the end of 2004. Most driving technologies succeeded to those of the previous 34-inch SMPDP module .In this work, we make an optimization effort on the driving waveforms, especially for setup period. Long ramp waves show good wall voltage controllability, with which we can get a reliable addressing and better sustain stability.

  • In this paper, would implement a transceiver for the visible light communication that based on wireless communication driving technology for LED illumination-based infrared ray communication, and measurement analyzed a design error rate of a transceiver variable rate has made about distance change -2.5m. The error rate measured a voltage variable along illuminate change between switchable circumstances, which has illuminated insight and outright. Each analyzed and measurement on the communication distance errors along the differences of disturbance light between night and days. The LED module has implemented for number of 6 through illumination dimming in case of different values. Also, implementation for the system module of a VLC transceiver based on the infrared sensors which used feedback outcome value has analyzed with error rate.

차량시뮬레이터 및 아이카메라를 이용한 도로안전성 평가기법 개발 (Development of Road Safety Estimation Method using Driving Simulator and Eye Camera)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장 실험 조성의 제약을 극복하기 위해 3차원 가상현실(virtual reality)로 설계중인 도로를 모델링한 후, 피실험자가 Eye camera가 장착된 차량 시뮬레이터 (driving simulator)에 탑승하고 주행하면서 운전자가 행하는 선형변화에 대한 동적 반응 및 운전자의 시각행태에 대한 데이터를 획득하였다 본 실험에 적용된 차량시뮬레이터의 그래픽 모듈은 동역학 해석 모듈에 의해 얻어진 데이터를 기초로 하여 운동재현기와 가상환경의 일치감들 최대로 함으로써 피실험자로 하여금 차량시뮬레이터의 비현실성 및 부작용을 최소화하도록 하였다. 또한, Eye camera는 기존의 여타 장비와는 달리 운전자가 헬멧이나 렌즈 등 어떠한 부착장치도 착용하지 않고 실험할 수 있는 FaceLAB을 사용함으로써 운전자의 자연스러운 시각행태를 아무런 데이터 손실없이 획득하였다. 본 연구에서는 조사된 데이터를 바탕으로 도로 안전성을 평가하기 위해 차량 시뮬레이터, Eye camera방법을 통해 설계시 도로 기하구조 변화에 따라 운전자가 느끼는 안전성의 변화를 파악함으로써 도로 기하구조 조건과 안전성의 상관성을 명확하게 규명하고 이를 통해 운전자가 도로 주행시 편안하고 쾌적한 주행을 보장받을 수 있는 도로를 설계 단계에서부터 평가할 수 있는 방법을 제시하려고 한다.

구동 모듈 감속기 윤활 특성에 관한 연구 (Research on the Lubrication Characteristics of Driving Modules)

  • In this study, we report on a power system developed as a decelerator for a driving module in an electric vehicle. The system is to be mounted in a limited space. The research focus was on development of miniaturization, light weight, and high power density. In particular, we aimed to minimize the layout of existing external components as integrated or built-in, and to maximize the power density by applying optimal cooling technology to increased requirements for developing modular power systems applicable to various OEM models. South Korean automakers ranked fourth in global electric-vehicle sales in 2020, but domestic sales are relatively slow. Despite government's expansion in subsidies for eco-friendly cars, consumers are delaying purchases after 2021 considering the cost-effectiveness of electric vehicles. In major European markets, the demand for electric vehicles exceeded the demand for diesel cars, and sales of hybrid cars, which used to represent eco-friendly cars, are slowing down as Toyota, started selling electric vehicles. In this study, the internal lubrication characteristics of a decelerator installed in an electric vehicle were analyzed in terms of the deceleration time while driving. By selecting the proper oil and oil viscosity, it was confirmed that there is no problem in lubricating the bearings and gears of the decelerator.
