The large uprush could be occurred when the waves hit the coastal structure and this uprush by wave could make the overtopping. The downfall of the wave overtopping water over the structure brought about the vertical impact loads. The vertical impact loads should be evaluated in order to design the pavement behind the crown wall however these loads were still unclear. In this study, the hydraulic model tests for the downfall impact loads by wave overtopping were performed and the various conditions were applied to the tests. The effect of the incident wave condition, the freeboard, the armour crest height and the height of the parapet were investigated. The test results showed that the parapet on the crown wall could reduce the wave overtopping however the inclusion of parapet could lead to the increased downfall wave pressures behind the crown wall. The empirical formulae were proposed for evaluating the maximum downfall pressures behind the crown wall of rubble mound structure.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial structure of director Im Kwon-taek's film , which was released in 1997. The space of the film contains the character and characteristics of the characters, and allows us to understand the contemporary reality and external circumstances surrounding the characters. For this purpose, this study used Michel Foucault's concept of heterotopia. The concept of heterotopia defines the character of the era and provides implications for how capital, power, institutions and norms surrounding our lives are being visualized through space. Based on this understanding, this study first dealt with the theoretical considerations of Michel Foucault's concept of heterotopia and its meaning. And through this, we investigated the possibility that the space of the film can be defined as a heterotopia. Through the analysis of the film's dialogue, scenes, and editing, the space of the film was divided into a heterotopia of deviation, a heterotopia of resistance impossibility, and a heterotopia of boundaries. The meaning of the film obtained through this analysis is as follows. The woman in the film is passively represented and floating on the border of heterotopia. And the film represent history and memory at the same time, and presents a heterotopia as the arena of competition.

Bei-Wei(北魏) arose from Ta-ba clan(拓拔氏), a race belonging to Xian-bei(삼배) and it was the first foreign dynasty that reigned the central area of China in A.D 386-534. Xiao-wen-di(孝文帝) found it necessary to adopt the ruling mechanism of Han race's 'Sino-centralism' so as to establish orthodoxy of Xian-bei dynasty. He ordered Xian-bei people to channge their own costume for the costume of Han race. Costume was one of ruling means in Xiao-wen-di's case. However the revolutionary policy of Sinonizatio by Xiao-wen-di brought abuot serious conflicts and confrontations among classes of Xian-bei Xiao-bei wore their own costume and opposed Xiao-wen-di(孝文帝)'s policy Consequently Xian-wen-di(孝文帝)'s Sinonization policy accelerated the downfall of Bei-Wei(北魏). In the course of reformation and downfall of Bei-Wei(北魏) costume played an important role of representing national indentity.

This study reexamines a covert factor of the colonization of Myanmar kingdom, drawing on the case of Myingyun-MyingonDaing Rebellion broke out in 1866. It criticizes that existing discussions on the downfall of the Konbaung dynasty are preoccupied with post-colonialism. These researches were focus on macro level and pointed out the imperialist stratagem and many scholars concluded for the down fall of Konbaung Dynasty that the wave of Imperialism as Sunami hit from Europe to Asia so that Myanmar could not stand as feudal society and down fall Konbaung Dynasty. All of events and comments were quite true but it is necessary to examine carefully past events. There were many controversial facts about third Anglo-Myanmar war. This paper has pointed out the Kings Mindon's false political strategic due to the lack of awareness on external threat with the giving the best example of Myingun-MyingonDaing rebellion.

The recent changes in Korean elections are mainly characterized as the downfall of the Conservative party. It is surprising, considering that the conservative party gained the historical support from the electorate in 2012, just several years ago. This paper claims that the downfall of the Conservative party is mostly derived from the perceptual conflicts and inconsistencies in the mind of the conservatives. The findings show clearly both attitude conflicts for the conservatives and its effect of asymmetrical (in)activation of participation. As their preferences to the conservative candidate and party became weaken, the conservatives remained to be inactive participants in elections. On the other hand, the liberals could make political decisions easily, having popular candidate and preferable political party. It suggests that, in order to participate, the electorate needs attractive candidate as well as parties to support in election. To revive as an active political actor, the conservative party should focus on the search of attractive candidates for the conservative electorate and reform the party in accordance with ideological preference of the electorate.

The present study analyzed the railway transport characteristics of bulk cargo flowing in and out of trade ports in South Korea. Bulk cargo transport in freight stations located behind trade ports was examined using actual flow data, and new implications were drawn accordingly. The results showed that bulk cargo volume in freight stations located behind trade ports is gradually decreasing, and it is also failing to secure a competitive edge against road transport. This downfall can be mainly attributed to the decrease in competitiveness of railway transport as well as the emergence of new trade ports that do not have lead-in track for port. Therefore, greater effort is required to strengthen the connection between new trade ports and railway freight stations.

Purpose: The primary objective of this research is to propose answers of rider's accident of food retailer in South Korea, in view of business sustainability of food retailer and his precious fate of rider who is a father that has a responsibility to the family. Research design, data, and methodology: We investigated previous studies such as food retailer, delivery, delivery application of mobile, rider's accident and statistics of delivery business agency, motorcycle accident ratio, annual fatalist, and further we analyzed cases of rider's accidents. Results: Rider's accident on the road toward food retailer is serious risky factor to their business reputation, corporate image, because claim amount related to death and physical/mental disability can be heavily damaged to food retailer. The point when rider dies is that rider is a person responsible for supporting his/her family, that is, a life itself issue together with downfall of family. Conclusions: In view of growth of South Korean' delivery rider industry, the authors recommended that focus of stability and sustainablity of both food retailer and delivery rider should establish to executable and practical ideas such as rider's readiness, abandon of speed guarantee, duty of delivery app business and legal aids.

Recently it is urgent issue in every department that problem from environmental disruption such as global warming. As the case of streetscape works essentially at city scenery, it is inevitable that changing from present view, which centers facilities and buildings, to environmental harmonic scenery. This study plans climate adjusting ability and improvement of thermal efficiency by putting ecological elements to buildings on a street which are essential factors of streetscape. Ultimately, this not only makes a pleasant environment but also revives being withered earth. Street-environment on eco-scape will take a part in designing sustainable city. This study acquires the way how buildings on a street get applied ecological elements as following. Roof level part : the greening surface of the rooftop(included plant box type), the greening roof as a type of pergola, the greening surface of the middle floor rooftop(included plant box type). Elevation part : climbing type, downfall type, espalier, flower bed in balcony type, wall-installing type, water wall type, other design types. Ground level part : paving the whole surface with permeability, paving the gap with permeability, plant box type, ground plant type, waterside zone, wetland, fence greening type, terrace greening type, retaining wall greening type.

Forest disturbance sometime considered as a tool of management as it believed that mid level disturbance constructs better micro-climatic conditions which ultimately boost up the plant diversity. The effect of different levels of disturbance on species composition and regeneration is very important. Present attempt was carried out in a temperate evergreen oak forest which was under various degree of disturbance. The study area is one of the large ranges of oak forest in Garhwal Himalaya and compensating various types of daily needs of local people. On the basis of IVI values Quercus leucotrichophora holds first position in all the disturbance zones whereas Myrica esculenta upgraded it's rank in highly disturbed zone and showed less impacted species by disturbance. Berberis aristata and Eupatorium adenophorum in shrub layer and Anaphalis adnata and Bidens pilosa in herb layer were found as disturbance friendly species because they attained higher rank in highly disturbed zone whereas Caryopteris foetida was found disturbance-sensitive in shrub layer. The banj oak regenerated well under mid disturbance as compared to no and high degree of disturbance and a sharp downfall in the species diversity was recorded with increasing magnitude of disturbance. Density-diameter curves showed a reverse trend of lower density in higher girth classes. The results of the study should be useful for the forest management strategies.

Early e-sports in Korea could be formed through the distribution of affects of active participation of gamers and fans. Since then, the establishment of a corporate team has continued, securing stability as an industry. However, mediation rights, intellectual property disputes, and game manipulations continue, leading to a massive escaped of early fandom and the collapse of StarCraft-based ecosystems.
