The South Korean automotive industry has been the major producer for both domestic and international market. This rises of the South Korean automotive industry has resulted in combination various factors ranging from government policies and the foreign investment. The Double Helix model provides a comprehensive and useful framework to understand how these factors have interacted to shape the history of the auto industry of South Korea. This research aims to provide the history of the Auto Industry in Korea based on the Double Helix Model. To collect textual literature dataset, the present author tried to screen and select adequate prior studies in the past and current literature to achieve the purpose of the study. According to the literature analysis, the history of the automotive industry in South Korea is an interesting case in the successful implementation of the Double Helix model. The model emphasizes the collaboration between the government and the private sector in achieving common goals. This research founded the four historical events of the development of the South Korean automotive industry based on the Double Helix Models. In sum, the research concludes that the Double Helix Model is an essential tool for understanding the historical development of the auto industry in South Korea.

This study is an analysis of the process of the discovery of the DNA double helix structure from an engineering literacy education perspective. The explanation of the DNA double helix structure by James Watson and Francis Crick in 1952 is a well-known scientific episode. The process is also a combination of various incidents that can frequently happen in competitive engineering research and development situations. Therefore, the process of the discovery of the DNA structure is a remarkable event that can cover all subjects, such as engineering and ethics, research ethics, communication between researchers, engineering and leadership, engineering and teamwork, and engineering and women. This paper focuses on analyzing the research ethics issues associated with Rosalind Franklin and comparing and analyzing the three teams that were very close to the discovery of the DNA structure. By looking at why the Watson and Crick team got the final answer instead of the Linus Pauling's team or the Maurice Wilkins and Rosalind Franklin's team, the virtues of the technology development process that should be taught in engineering literacy education will be naturally presented.

The objective of this study is to find the effective stiffness and compressive strengths of a unit-cell pinwheel truss and double pinwheel truss model designed following a double helical geometry similar to that of the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) structure in biology. The ideal solution for their derived relative density is correlated with a ratio of the truss thickness and length. To validate the relative stiffness or relative strength, ABAQUS software is used for the computational model analysis on five models having a different size of truss diameter from 1mm to 5mm. Applied material properties are stainless steel type 304. The boundary conditions applied were fixed bottom and 5 mm downward displacement. It was assumed that the width, length, and height are all equal. Consequently, it is found that the truss model has a lower effective stiffness and a lower effective yielding strength.

Reinforced braid layer (RBL) in automobile power steering hose plays an important role in power steering system. When the working oil is applied to the power steering hose, RBL suppresses rubber hose deformation from internal pressure and heat expansion. RBL is woven textile composites having a double-row structure of nylon cords twisted with the specific helix angle. In this paper, effective material properties of RBL are estimated using a detailed 3-D finite element model considering its complicated geometry. Numerical experiments based on a superposition method are carried out to simulate uniaxial tensile loading condition.

본 연구는 지난 10년간 급격하게 변화하여 온 온라인 쇼핑산업에 대해 성장의 동력을 이론적으로 확인하고, 이들에 의한 이론적 설명을 시도한 탐색적 연구이다. 이러한 과정에서 이론적으로 선점이론에 대한 검토를 통해 이 이론이 유통구조에서 온라인 유통산업에서 발생하고 있는 재중간상화와 배치됨을 확인하였고, 이에 따라서 동적 역량이론을 활용한 온라인 산업에 대한 이론적 적용모델인 NEBIC에 대한 검토를 통해 동적성장이론인 이중나선구조 모형을 제안하였다. 또한 이론의 현실적합성을 확인하기 위해 2000년에서 2008년 한국 온라인 쇼핑산업의 발전과정을 재구성하고 각 기업의 매출자료 및 총매출액을 검토하여 현재 진행 중인 온라인 유통업의 동적 성장과정에서 각 기업의 역량이 시장에 적용되어지는 과정을 확인하고 새로운 진화방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 보았을 때, 오픈마켓의 주도를 통한 시장 발전은 한계에 봉착한 것으로 보인다. 따라서 향후 온라인 쇼핑몰은 자기 기반 역량 위에서 유통경로 구조 전반에 걸친 유통기능의 개발과 상품개발을 통해 경로구조를 통합하는 방향으로 발전할 것으로 잠정적 결론을 내릴 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 결론에 기반하여 오픈마켓에서 육성된 대형 판매자들의 전문몰화, 상장기업화를 유도하는 한편, 상품취급범위를 제한하는 다양한 정책 및 규제를 통합운영하고 조정하는 컨트롤 타워의 구축, 그리고 오픈마켓의 중소 상인육성기능을 강화하기 위한 인센티브의 구성과 같은 정책적 제안이 제시되었다.

The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between Art management and Cultural activities in China from the K-wave case. Research design, data, and methodology: This study used the method of the cases study survey, with the K-wave case in as the survey objects, 3 valid survey sample case were collected in this paper. Results: The two dimensions of art management and cultural activities differently influences from the K-wave, and the influence of availability on customer satisfaction is not significant. Conclusion: The results of this study will provide useful reference for the Art management and Cultural activities in China from the K-wave case. And improve the development of art management and cultural activities in China by improving the K-wave of service quality. Art management can shape urban commercial space in a beneficial way, create a good consumption atmosphere, and enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of the city. The introduction of art elements into urban commercial space can create a strong cultural atmosphere, so that the city presents a smart look. Art management has a positive impact on K-Wave production and operation activities, which can promote the shaping of art commercial space, the promotion of urban cultural atmosphere.
