Fiberglass may be a pulmonary toxin and carcinogen because it imitates asbestos, as do other man-made mineral fibers. A 5-months-old Jind dog was accidentally exposed to fiberglass extensively for 3 months in a site of apartment construction. Canine acute clinical pneumoconiosis caused by fiberglass was diagnosed by history, ezamination of environment, physical examination, and chest x-ray check of patient. The main signs were anorexia, dyspnea, increased irregular opacities and air trapping in lung field of chest x-ray films. Because the fiverglass which is used for several purpose are dangerous for health of animal and human. fiberglass dust must be controlled to minimize the adverse effects of fiberglass in the environment.

마이크로폰을 이용하여 평면상에 직교형으로 배열된 음인 도래 방향 탐지 시스템을 구성하고, A/D 변환에 있어 일반저인 샘플링 기법과 spilt-beam형 어군 탐지 시스템에 적용된 4분 샘플링 기법을 이용하여 공기중에서의 음원의 토래 방향 탐지 성능에 관한 실험을 수행하였다. 일반 실내에서 단일 주파수의 음원에 대하여 직교형 마이크로폰 배열을 사용한 음인 토래 방향 탐지 시스템 및 4분 샘플링 기법의 적용이 유용함을 확인하였다.

A continuous 3D tube bending machine has been developed for industrial boiler panel production. The machine consists of a main bender, a sub bender, a side bender, tube feeding rollers and control system that includes data management system. Tube position is controlled by a numerical control system. The bending former can be easily replaced according to the shape of bending form. Reduction of working time and improvement of production capacity from the practice have been achieved by bending a long tube in the machine developed.

The pharmacological activities on water extracts of Cortex, Ramulus and Folium from the Eucommia ulmoides Oliver were studied, and the following results were observed. The vasodilative action on the rabbit ear blood vessel was recognized in the Cortex, Ramulus and Folium. The spontaneous motility and the contraction induced by Ach., $BaCl_2$ and histamine in the isolated ileum of mice were suppressed and inhibited in the Ramulus only. On the contrary, the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities were noted in the Cortex and Folium. Furthermore, the hypotensive effect was recognized in the Folium. The diuretic, bile secretory and anti-fatigue effects were shown in the Cortex and Folium.

The Arnold-Chiari malformation(ACM) is an anomaly of the hindbrain consisting of two components : a variable displacement of a tongue of tissue derived from the inferior cerbellar vermis in the upper cervical cannal and a similar caudal dislocation of the medulla and fourth ventricle. Hydrocephalus and meningomyelocele are another abnormalities that associated frequently. We present a case of Arnold-Chiari malformation with hydrocephalus and meningomyeolcele and a brief review of the literatures was added.

Allergic inflammation results from stimulation of ${\beta}$-hexosaminidase secretion, increased calcium influx, and activation of MAPK pathways. Some fractions of Chamaecyparis obtusa decreased secretion of ${\beta}$-hexosaminidase, calcium influx, ROS, and phosphorylation of ERK. These results suggest that Chamaecyparis obtusa would be valuable for development of allergy therapeutics.

수술 전 간 기능이 저하되어 있는 간암환자의 경우 너무 많은 간 조직을 절제하면 남아있는 조직의 기능만으로는 생존하기 어려울 때가 있다 그러므로 수술전 간 기능의 평가를 정확히 할 수 있고 간절제 후에 잔여세포의 기능을 정확히 측정하는 것은 매우 중요한 의미를 갖게 된다. 현재의 일반적인 간 기능 검사나 Indocyanine 등을 이용하는 방법으로는 수술 후 잔여 간세포의 기능을 예측할 수 없다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 수학적 deconvolution 방법을 이용하여 Hepatic extraction fraction(HEF)를 구하여 수술 후 잔여 간세포의 기능을 정량적으로 예측할 수 있는 software를 개발하고자 한다. 그리하여 간암 환자의 수술여부 및 절제부위의 크기를 결정할 수 있으며 또한 HEF로 신생아 황달의 원인인 간염과 간담도 폐쇄를 식별할 수 있다.

우리나라의 변동비반영시장(CBP)은 자동발전제어(AGC)의 제공수준에 관한 정량적 평가방법을 수립되지 않아, 동 서비스의 제공과 직접적으로 관계없는 에너지 공급량에 비례하여 공급대가를 지불하고 있다. 이에 따라 전력거래소는 시장효율 향상을 위한 제도개선의 일환으로 발전기별 이행성과 및 기여도를 반영하는 AGC 정산체계를 수립하였다. 새로운 정산체계에서 발전기별 AGC 이행성과와 기여도는 각각 계통의 기대출력에 대한 실제출력의 통계적 상관계수와 EMS의 제어참여율로 결정된다. 본 논문은 AGC 정산체계의 개선방안에 관한 세부내역 및 근거를 설명하고, 사례분석을 통해 방법론의 유효성을 입증하고 있다.

DLC(Direct Load Control) program has been introduced and operated for the stabilization of power demand. DLC program takes effect in accordance with political judgment of government (operating reserve ratio etc), which is controlled by DLC system mechanism. So we would improve understanding of DLC program participant introducing about control procedure in detail and also propose direction of development about control system.
