PURPOSES : The use of environmentally friendly construction methods has been recently encouraged to reduce fuel consumption and the effects of global warming. For this purpose, the roller compacted concrete pavement (RCCP) construction method has been developed. RCCP is more environmentally friendly and economically efficient than general concrete by reducing the amount of CO2 generated through the application of a smaller amount of cement. RCCP has a number of advantages such as an easy construction method, low cost, high structural hydration performance, and aggregate interlocking. However, mix design standards and construction guidelines of RCCP are required for domestic application. In addition, a study on aggregate selection, which has an effect on the characteristics of RCCP, is necessary owing to a limited number of researches. Thus, the aggregate effect on the performance of RCCP in securing the required strength and workability was evaluated in consideration of domestic construction. METHODS : Sand and coarse aggregates of both 19mm and 13mm in maximum size were used in this study. Four types of aggregate gradations (s/a = 30%, 58%, and 70% for the sand and coarse aggregate of 19mm in maximum size, and s/a = 50% for a combination of the three types of aggregates) were set up to investigate the effects of the PCA band on the RCC characteristics. The conditions of s/a = 30% and 70% were evaluated to check the gradation effect outside of the recommended band. The conditions of s/a = 58% and 50% were used because they are the optimum combination of the two and three types of aggregates, respectively. RCCP gradation band was suggested gradation with a proper construction method of RCCP by synthetically comparing and analyzing the correlation of optimum water content, maximum dry density, and strength of requirements through its consistency and compaction test. RESULTS : The lower and upper limit lines are insufficient to secure a relatively strong development and workability compared to an aggregate gradation in the RCCP gradation band region. On the other hand, the line in the RCCP gradation band and the 0.45 power curve in the RCCP gradation band region were satisfactory, ensuring the required strength and workability. CONCLUSIONS : The suitable aggregate gradation on RCCP process should meet the RCCP gradation band area; however, fine particles passing through a #60 sieve do not need to be within the recommended gradation band because the influence of this region on such fine particles is small.

Most of domestic multipurpose dams were basin area to be large, therefore, soil loss were occurred by downpour in the rainy season, They have caused to accumulate sediments on the river and dam reservoir that brought the decrease of storage volume and difficulties of the quality management of water. Until now, the measurement cycle of sediments surveying was long and it was designed to use surveying the degree of sediments, Thus there were many difficult things to secure accuracy. In this study, it was intended to analyze the origin position tracing of sediments and the movement route, for this purpose, aerial LiDAR technology was applied to precise sediments surveying. The amount and location of soil loss were evaluated by classified properties of soil, land-cover, and topographical conditions in detail. Therefore, the reliance could be maintained in analyzing the route of soil loss by extracting the flow within a watercourse and using the advanced accurate DEM.

Sewage facilities are positively necessary for environment improvement such as rainwater removal, sewage disposal, preservation of the quality of water and health of the citizens in present-day. Meanwhile, a deterioration of the concrete sewer pipe is increasing rapidly due to the chemical and physical attack and especially biochemical attack that is to say biodeterioration. So, in advanced countries, prediction techniques and corrosion inhibition system for sewer concrete are developed and are being applied. Also, antibiotics were developed already but application of that is low because it is not economical and has no practical use. But, in domestic, countermeasures for the corrosion of sewage concrete are not sufficient and biochemical attack is not reflected in those essentially. In this study, to prevent biochemical corrosion of the sewer concrete, surface of the concrete was spread with liquefied inorganic antibiotics and then its engineering properties were experimentally investigated. As a result, compressive strength of the specimen spread with antibiotics were similar to those of non spread, Both bond strength and abrasion amount of the specimen spread with antibiotics were inferior to non spread. Properties of absorption and air permeability of the specimen spread with antibiotics were superior to non spread. Finally, carbonation depth, chloride ion penetration depth and weight change ration of the specimen spread with antibiotics were smaller than non spread.
Chlorine is one of the most produced and most used non-flammable chemical substances in the world even though its toxicity and high reactivity cause the ozone layer depletion. However, in modern life, it is impossible to live a good life without using Chlorine and its derivatives since they are being used as an typical ingredient in more than 40 percent of the manufactured goods including medicines, detergents, deodorant, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, and plastic, etc. Even if Chlorine has been handled and distributed in various business (small and medium-sized businesses, water purification plants, distribution company, etc.), there have been few researches about its possible health hazard and transportation risks. Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to make a detailed assessment of Chlorine-related risks and to model an index of chemicals transportation risks that is adequate for domestic circumstances. The assessment of possible health hazard and transportation risks was made on 13 kinds of hazardous chemicals, including liquid chlorine. This research may be contributed to standardizing the risk assessment of Chlorine and other hazardous chemicals by using an index of transportation risks.

This study measured consumer's recognition, reliability, emotion and images about current eco-marks as well proposed an eco-mark rating scale and mark designs to improve consumer's trust on the fashion product marks. We used a questionnaire survey to collect data from 150 persons about knowledge, interests, and practice on eco fashion products in relation to trustfulness and positive images for three domestic and three international eco-marks. We evaluated and gave eco scores to six fiber-type products (cotton, organic cotton, wool, polyester, biodegradable polyester and nylon) in terms of consumer's use, water & land consumption, waste amount, carbon footprint, and toxicity. We suggested a new 5-level rating scale for eco marks, which quantified the concept of environmental friendliness of fiber products. The design for eco-mark of rating scale showed the total grade with two sub scores of environmental sides and human sides developed with an improved visual understanding for consumers. The design is one through benchmarking the energy-consumption efficiency mark, which is familiar to consumers such as a half circle shape to save environment resources to alarm consumers to environment problems.
The sanitary quality of a shellfish-growing area in Kamak Bay, Korea, was assessed through a bacteriological examination of seawater and oysters from January 2004 to December 2006. From seawater samples collected at 28 stations, the range of geometric mean (GM) and the estimated 90th percentile for most-probable-number (MPN) values of fecal coliforms were <1.8-2.4 MPN/100 mL and 1.8-6.0 MPN/100 mL, respectively. The observed fecal coliform GM and the estimated 90th percentile did not exceed the fecal coliform water quality standards of 14 MPN/100 mL and 43 MPN/100 mL. Therefore, the bacteriological quality of seawater at this shellfish-growing area met the Korean Shellfish Sanitation Program (KSSP) criteria for a growing area used for export. The range of the fecal coliform GM and the estimated 90th percentile MPN values of oyster samples were 19.2-160 MPN/100 g and 20.2-166.9 MPN/100 g, respectively, and the range of the viable cell count was 30-1900 CFU/g. Thus, the fecal coliform value for the oysters and the viable cell count were less than the current shellfish quality standards of 230 MPN/100 g and 50,000 CFU/g, respectively. The bacteriological quality of the oysters complied with the criteria for domestic use and export of shellfish.
In case of tunnel construction with a shallow soil cover in cohesionless soils or highly weathered rocks, reinforcement measures are required for a tunnel stability during the tunnel construction. Recent developments show that the use of Umbrella Arch Method(UAM) as tunnel reinforcement and water cut-off in domestic projects has increased. Unfortunately, guidelines for the design and construction of UAM have not been established, only empirical designs and applications in tunnel construction have been performed so far. In this study, behaviour of the steel pipes installed on the tunnel roof was analyzed through the monitoring of bending and axial stresses of the pipes with the advance of the tunnel face. The monitoring results were used in the establishment of the loading mechanism around the pipe. This paper suggests, the guidelines used in the determination of the total length, overlapping length and lateral spacing of the reinforcing pipes obtained from the established loading mechanism.
In recent years, "ecological river restoration" taking into account the flood control, water utilization and environmental aspects of rivers is actively being investigated. However, it is hard to understand the inhabitation conditions of living organisms that live on the river with distinct characteristics have been fully reflected, and with the use of limited methods, it ends in uniformed composition of artificial rivers and a mere customary stream channel maintenance, resulting in frequently disturbed stream channel habitats As a fundamental study for investigating the habitats of living organisms that live on rivers, this study intends to examine each habitat type by dividing domestic rivers into sand rivers and gravel rivers depending on the nature of rivers and dividing sections of each river into central river sections and natural river sections. As a result, more diverse habitat types of organisms were found in the gravel rivers rather than in the sand rivers, and the habitat types of organisms in the central river sections where the river restoration project have been already conducted reached approximately 56.3 % of those that appeared in the natural river sections.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the causal relationship between exhibition acceptance through the quality factors of Internet of Things (IoT) exhibition services and ease and usefulness of technology acceptance factors for domestic exhibition visitors. Through this, the company intends to present effective and efficient development plans in the IoT exhibition industry. Therefore, we present a research model that applies DeLone & McLean's quality factors to key variables in the information system success model and ease and usefulness in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A survey was conducted on ordinary people with experience using the Internet of Water (IoT) exhibition service. The survey was conducted for two weeks from July 15 to August 20, 2021. A total of 276 surveys were used for data analysis during this period. The hypothesis results related to the information system success model of the Internet of Things (IoT) exhibition show that, first, system quality had no significant effect on usefulness, but significantly on ease. Second, information quality has been shown to have a significant effect on usability and ease. Third, service quality has been shown to have a significant impact on usability and ease. Fourth, usefulness has been shown to have a significant effect on exhibition acceptance. Fifth, ease has been shown to have a significant effect on usability. Sixth, ease was shown to have a significant effect on exhibition acceptance.

The relevance of the study implies the need to explain the main determinants of environmental policy, allowing countries to converge on a common working basis. The purpose of the research is to explore ways in which the environmental aspects of EU regions and territories can be shaped to apply to domestic environmental policy. A total of 997 representatives from the Ukrainian UTCs, who are involved in local environmental policy, participated in the survey. Results of the research. A hierarchy of regional environmental policy objectives has been identified. Three key principles of eco-policy development have been distinguished. The means of the innovative approach strategy implementation have been outlined (formation of the regional market of environmental services; organization of interaction between environmental agencies and market structures; establishment of environmental funds which finance environmental activities; implementation of the "collateral return" system; formation of a system of benefits and loans to enterprises that successfully implement the environmental policy). The means of the prognostic approach implementation strategy to the development of the region's environmental policy have been determined (the use of an orderly and successful long-term strategy of economic development of the region; obligatory consideration in the mechanisms strategy aimed at improvement of environmental management system of the region, interbranch impact of the projects implemented on the region's ecological situation; taking into consideration the economic and geographical peculiarities of the region, the necessary infrastructure, issues of the territorial location of the large enterprises in the region and their impact on the environment). The means of the traditional approach strategy implementation have been outlined (activity programs focused on solution of specific problems, rather than on the implementation of measures for environmental restoration and enhancement; nature conservation problems have interbranch, interdepartmental character due to unity of the region's ecosystem; tracking complexity of changing conditions (water basins, woodlands, air-mass transport), regional boundaries generally do not coincide with natural ecosystems boundaries). The practical significance of the study lies in providing recommendations for the implementation of certain aspects of Ukrainian UTC's environmental policy.
