A grinding technology is very essential to finish the surface of IT and BT industrial application parts such as wafer, optical connection part and lenses etc. However the finding machine has bead depended on imports. Especially, it is completely imported for machining high precision part relevant to domestic electric and communicational industries. The amount to import grinding machine is about $110milions. It takes about 35% of total import amount of all the machine tools. A domestic finder manufacturer is a very small-scaled bussinessman and research facilities is poor. Recently, it is increasing to demand high speed and precision grinding technology because it brings cost down and value added up. Its further study will be something related to inteligent grinding system fur value added and high precision part. It will make domestic grinding technology to its advanced country level.

After the construction of waterworks automatic meter reading with 15 mm diameter digital water mater with magnetoresistance sensor developed in this study at 96 households of apartment complexes located in Incheon-City B-Gu S-Dong, the feasibility of field application of waterworks automatic meter reading was evaluated. The field application of waterworks automatic meter reading was performed from July to December in 2011, and average reception rate was as low as 84.6% due to the instable wibro networks, the existence of communication blackout and temporary malfunction of router. After the extraction of 10 households with one to five residents out of 96 households by using stratified random sampling method and analysis of domestic water use, it was found that domestic water use was significant at August and showed a decreasing trend at September, followed by increase in domestic water use at November and decrease in domestic water use at December. This phenomenon should be attributed to weather factors (temperature, humidity, etc.), which significantly affected domestic water use. Similar trend in domestic water use in terms of weather factors was obtained in case of Liter per capita day of water use after the extraction of 30 households out of 96 households by using stratified random sampling method. After analysis of Liter per capita day for 96 households, single residents increases resulted in reduction of domestic water usage by about 14% of Liter per capita day. These results might be due to the fact that domestic water usage such as laundry, beverages, catering, cleaning, etc. should be required for even the household with one resident, whereas domestic water usage for those common utilization can be significantly saved for the household with more than one resident.

The object of this study is to offer domestic and overseas travel informations efficiently for domestic tourists growing far beyond 15 million even now through user centered interface more convenient and accurate. In a method of research, 100 people were surveyed after recasting of evaluation questionnaire about UI design using 5-point Likert and nominal scale and additionally, the in-depth interviews were given to 10 people who use travel application frequently. In consequence, this interview revealed where users feel convenience and difficulty and want improvement of usability, information accuracy, etc. Finally, this study has a meaning to suggest new UI prototypes and various guideline about additional UI design on the basis of surveyed parts.

The study aims to investigate the perception of RDA by domestic university library librarians, the current status and plan of RDA application in university libraries, and propose considerations for establishing RDA in domestic university libraries. Through literature review, questionnaire items were prepared to investigate librarians' perception of RDA and the status of RDA in university libraries, and the application status of cataloging rules and education status of cataloging rules in Korea were investigated. Based on the results of the survey, the conversion of the cataloging rules from AACR2 to RDA requires expansion of RDA education and development of curriculum for librarians, and efforts and support such as preparing RDA format and application guidelines at the library level. At the level of national institutions such as the National Library of Korea, implications such as the necessity of enacting RDA application guidelines were presented.

With the introduction of increasingly large-sized ships, the conditions of main domestic port facilities remain the same as in the past. So, there is high probability that marine traffic congestion can occur at the certain ship's routes. The standard ship's length used to assess the marine traffic congestion of domestic trade port is 70 meters. It has been in use for the last 30 years, so, its usefulness is highly recommended for review. This study deeply analyzes the tendency of ship's dimensional changes according to recent enlargement of ship's size by utilizing the particulars of 60,000 ships saved in domestic Port-MIS database and suggests the standard ship's length by figuring out the correlation between length of ship and gross tonnage. In addition, the basis of statistical data on the ship's tonnage in domestic trade over the last five years suggests the standard ship's length by deriving the reference point of cumulative incidences that occupy more than over 50 %, except for small vessels. It is necessary to consider the characteristic of each domestic trade port before the actual application of suggested standard ship's length.

United States has extended the extraterritorial application of U.S. Antitrust Law in 1990s. First, The U.S. Federal Supreme Court declared in Hartford Fire Insurance Co. v. California that the extraterritorial application of U.S. Antitrust Law is according to Effect Doctrine. Therefore, U.S. Antirust Division and FTC will continue to base their assertions of juridiction on the test of direct, substantial and foreseeable effects on U.S. interests. Second, U.S. Antitrust Law apply to foreign conduct that such conduct has direct, substantial and reasonably foreseeable effect on U.S. domestic or import commerce and export commerce. Third, United States has extended the extraterritorial application of U.S. Antitrust Law on international licensing contract or international merger. Forth, United States impose criminal responsbility of U.S. Antitrust Law on the foreign anticompetitive conduct. Therefore, our government and industries must consider the corresponding stratigies against the extension of the extraterritorial application of U.S. Antitrust Law.

To develope a domestic machinery industry, international competition through reducing cost by increasing productivity is as important as evolving technology and increasing quality. In this study, we have studied in application of GT technology. GT is a skill that acquires high productivity using part's resemblance for multi part and small size production like mass production. We have classified group, such as design, layout and the others, to be applied systematically. The design group includes retrieval for drawings and study for GT design. The layout group includes GT layout, analysis of production process and study for composition method. And others include scheduling, standardization and standard process.
