This paper describes how using the XPS Document technologies of Windows Vista support and enhances interactions with the structural design and construction process. It illustrates the document workflows and the document life cycle in a typical construction base knowledge system. It provides engineers and decision makers and implementers with information about this new technology and how they can apply it to their design and construction models. The paper also highlights opportunities for the new format of data exchange in the recent efforts to develop National Management System Standards for Transportation Applications to benefit from these emerging technologies.

Represent of mathematical formula used within system handling document that is nonstructural in existent document editing system that is used in electron document processing that use computer is represented or processed by method that is nonstructural of image or text or etc. Such mathematical formular causes relative inconvenience to readablility and reusability of document and processing and exchange of document. Electronic document processing using EDl (Electronic Data Interchange) must exchange documents using VAN (Value Added Network). However. the use of exclusive software needs alteration of a new document and the use of VAN(Value Added Network) demands an exchange of document and high cost for maintenance. Due to these problems, the existing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is turning into Web-based EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). This paper suggests techniques that change EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) messages which exist in two relational databases into XML (extensible Markeup Language) using the JDBC bridge. Also this paper proposes a method that recovers schema using converted XML (extensible Markeup Language) file, and a method which inserts an original record into a declared table. This solves the limitation of an original method that have to use sane database management system and also overcomes the problem in certain circumstances where the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) exchange does not work.

However, W3C had notice to use XSLT(extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation) that is document transformable standard to descript expression information in XML documents because documents of XML only have a logical structure information. It is designed for XML that is developed for data exchange on the internet. Moreover, it is proposed to process and to change as other data type for expression XML documents for user. This thesis design and implement XSLT document editing system transformable as a un data type as a HTML data type applying XSLT at XML and developed the system. It can edit XSLT document that descript expression information in XML document that is used for data editing in the WYSIWYG environment.

This study focuses on the data schema and data content, which includes maintenance data, data structures and illustration data relevant with the maintenance process of ship and offshore structures. Product lifecycle management (PLM) is expected to encompass all the product data generated for the operation and maintenance information as well as the design and production. This paper introduces a data exchange schema in PLM of ship and offshore, serving as the basis for the role of standards required by the middle-of-life PLM. Also this paper identifies a typology of standards relevant to PLM that addresses the schema of evolving standards and identifies a XML schema supporting the exchange of data related with maintenance operations. Technical document based on standards in accordance with S1000D and Shipdex is explained. A case study illustrating the use of standard data exchange and technical document is presented.

This paper is for the design and implementation of SGML document presentation system to format SGML document based on DSSSL. ISO/lEC proposed DSSSL as the technological standard for formatting and transforming SGML document. This paper shows the design of this system in accordance with the model defined in DSSSL. This system, which is able to provide Korean, has parsing function of arbitrary DTDs, SGML documents and DSSSL style sheets, and contains a formatter that can manage various specifications, such as graphs, lists, pictures, as well as text. This will satisfy a user's intent for exchange of SGML documents that involve format information between different types, greatly contribute to make up SGML document processing environment.

The Purpose of this Article is to analyze the examination criteria on the compliance of multimodal transport document in the ISBP. When the goods are taken in charge by the multimodal transport operator, he shall issue a multimodal transport document which, at the option of the consignor, shall be in either negotiable or non-negotiable form. The multimodal transport document shall be signed by the multimodal transport operator or by a person having authority from him. When the multimodal transport document is presented by the beneficiary to the bank in the letter of credit operations, the bank should examinate the bill of exchange and/or shipping documents, including multimodal transport document. There are two rules in connection with examination of the documents in the letter of credit operations. One is the "Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits(UCP 500)" approved by the Banking Commission in March 10, 1993, the other is the "International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Letters of Credits(ISBP)" approved by the ICC Banking Commission in October 2002. Therefore, this Article has studied the multimodal transport document presented under documentary credits on the basis of the UCP 500 and the ISBP it reflects.

Korean public organizations create electronic documents through electronic document management systems under the e-Government scheme. A majority of these public documents are saved in vendor-dependent file formats, mainly HWP. Vendor-dependent formats can be opened only with specific software, which requires purchase. As the license does not guarantee compatibility between past and future versions, interoperability problems occur in long-term preservation, which need to be solved. Any error from the elimination of styles or no matching elements in document definition during conversion from vendor-dependent formats to the XML-based standard exchange format leads to file open failure or the modification of original documents. This study introduces the Open Document Format (ODF) and investigates the effects of adopting ODF in the creation, exchange, management, and preservation of public records.

Due to the ability expressing various types of documentstructure through XML, ebXML, RosettaNet, and BizTalk are using XML as a core technology in the part of e-Business, To make the task automatically in the B2B EC now, a standard XML document is needed. Internal documents in each company should be transformed differently without any loss to work with other companies. In this paper, transforming XML document based on JAVA servlet is considered as realization of a XML system to exchange documents safely.
