  • Purpose: This study aims to identify the assessment criteria on textile and apparel supply chain management performance. Research design, data, and methodology: An integrated method of Delphi, quantitative survey, and ANP, in which Delphi with Kamet principle was applied to define the set of criteria, quantitative survey with reliability and validity test was utilized to ensure the match between the set of criteria and the whole textile and apparel industry, and ANP was used to derive weights of these criteria. Results: The set of supply chain management performance evaluation criteria composes of seven criteria namely order fulfillment quality, agility, costs, asset management, information sharing, innovation, and product development and 19 sub-criteria. Conclusions: This study theoretical contribution is the proposition of the set of evaluation criteria on supply chain performance. Regarding practical contribution, the study findings are guidelines for T&A companies in assessing and improving their supply chain capability. However, the findings are only for Vietnamese T&A context. Future research, therefore, may be expanded to other regions or countries' T&A industry. Additionally, future step to this study may be the utilization of other techniques of MCDM or methodological approaches like multiple regression, PLSSEM in defining weights of criteria or performance evaluation.

  • Purpose: This study's objective is to examine the impact of firm-specific and macroeconomic factors on the business performance of non-cyclical and cyclical sectors in Indonesian listed firms. The evaluation of business performance holds paramount importance for the achievement and long-term viability of a company. Research Design Data and Methodology: The data for 61 non-cyclicals sector companies and 57 cyclicals sector companies was gathered over a 4-year period from 2018-2021. The model integrates firm size, leverage, and sales growth as firm-specific factors, with real GDP growth and inflation rate as macroeconomic variables. ROA and ROE are indicators of a firm's business performance. The regression models are estimated using the distribution of a dynamic approach with Arellano-Bond Panel Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) estimation. Results: The results of the pooled sample indicate that the historical ROA and ROE have a positive relationship with the business performance of all sectors, including both non-cyclical and cyclical industries. The ROE of non-cyclical enterprises is primarily influenced by firm-specific characteristics and macroeconomic influences. Conclusion: To ensure the successful implementation of the distribution of a dynamic approach towards enhancing corporate business performance, organizations need to take into account a combination of firm-specific factors and macroeconomic factors.

  • This paper deals with the optimal investment method for distribution facilities, based on the analytical approach for the reliability assessment in distribution systems interconnected with new dispersed generations. The existing approach can estimate the expected reliability performance of distribution systems by a direct assessment of the configuration of the systems using the reliability indexes such as NDP(Non-Delivery Power) and NDE(Non-Delivery Energy). The indexes can only consider the number and configuration of the load, but can not consider the characteristics of the load which is the one of the most important factor in the investment cost for the distribution systems. Therefore, this paper presents the new performance indexes for the investment of the distribution facilities considering both the expected interruption cost for the load section and the operation characteristics of dispersed generations. The results from a case study show that the proposed methods can be a practical tool for the voltage management in distribution systems including dispersed sources.

  • Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) is the high efficiency fuel cell operating at high temperatures ranging from 700-1000℃. Design of the flow paths of the fuel and air in SOFCs is important to improve cell performance and prevent cell degradation. However, the uneven distribution of current density in the traditional type having one inlet and outlet causes cell degradation. In this regard, the parallel flow path with two inlet and outlets was designed and compared to the traditional type based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. To check the cell performance, hydrogen distribution, velocity distribution and current density distribution were monitored. The results validated that the parallel designs with two inlets and outlets have a higher cell performance compared to the traditional design with one inlet and outlet due to a larger reaction area. In case of uniform-type paths, more uniform current density distribution was observed with less cross-sectional variation in flow paths. In case of contracted and expanded inflow paths, significant improvement of performance and uniform current density was not observed compared to uniform parallel path. Considering SOFC cell with uniform current density can prevent cell degradation, more suitable design of SOFC cell with less cross-sectional variation in the flow path should be developed. This work can be helpful to understand the role of flow distribution in the SOFC performance.

  • In this paper, We present that protocols have already proposed an applicable key distribution and authentication protocol based discrete logarithm and prime-factorization problem in PCN(Personal Communication Network) is anaysised. We newly propose identiity-based protocol using smart card. This proposed potocol is that Fiat-Shamir identification scheme and a new key distribution scheme based on Fiat-Shamir identification scheme are joined. Proposed protocol is compared with suiting protocols with respect to security and efficiency to evalate performance, so its calculation is reduced in key distribution and authentication to evaluate performance.

  • Since the distribution of SBAS reference stations is one of the most important factors that affect the system performance, the effects of the distribution should be analyzed carefully from the beginning of the program to develop the system conforming to given performance requirements. The reference stations of KASS, the Korean SBAS, are planned to be installed only inside South Korea, which limits the number and area of those. It differentiates KASS from others that have much larger sites. In this paper, the author analyzes the performance impact on UDRE and ${\delta}UDRE$ for GPS and GEO due to the limitations by a series of simulations, which showed that the UDRE performance depends on the diversity of the reference station distribution and the impact on the GEO UDRE is significant. The paper concludes by providing KASS design and development considerations to minimize the possible performance risks due to the limitations of KASS reference station distribution.

  • A new system for evaluating the voltage management errors of distribution equipment is presented in this paper. The main concept of the new system is to use real distribution live-line voltage to evaluate and correct the voltage measurement data from distribution equipment. This new approach is suitable for a new Distribution Management System (DMS) which has been developed for a distribution power system due to the connection of distributed generation growth. The data from distribution equipment that is installed at distribution lines must be accurate for the performance of the DMS. The proposed system is expected to provide a solution for voltage measurement accuracy assessment for the reliable and efficient operation of the DMS. An experimental study on actual distribution equipment verifies that this voltage measurement accuracy assessment system can assess and calibrate the voltage measurement data from distribution equipment installed at the distribution line.

  • Purpose: Big Data analytics (BDA) has been recognized to improve firm performance because it can efficiently manage and process large-scale, wide variety, and complex data structures. This study examines the determinants of Big Data analytics adoption toward marketing and financial performance of global logistic companies in Thailand. The research framework is adopted from the technology-organization-environment (TOE) model, including technological factors (relative advantages), organizational factors (technological infrastructure and absorptive capability), environmental factors (industry competition and government support), Big Data analytics adoption, marketing performance, and financial performance. Research design, data, and methodology: A quantitative method is applied by distributing the survey to 450 employees at the manager's level and above. The sampling methods include judgmental, stratified random, and convenience sampling. The data were analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Results: The results showed that all factors significantly influence Big Data analytics adoption, except technological infrastructure. In addition, Big Data analytics adoption significantly influences marketing and financial performance. Conversely, marketing performance has no significant influence on financial performance. Conclusions: The findings of this study can contribute to the strategic improvement of firm performance through Big Data analytics adoption in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industries.
