The research analyzes the influence of service quality, promotion, product, and price on brand image and purchase intention in Indonesia's furniture distribution channels. Research design, data, and methodology: The variables used are service quality, promotion, product, price, brand image, and purchase intention. This research is cross-sectional research, which will be conducted among the furniture consumers in Indonesia, from the Instagram followers of a community as of 31 July 2023 with 837.5 thousand followers. The tools that will be used are surveys, conducted according to the sample size and processed using SMARTPLS 4 and the SEM-PLS model. Results: The findings urge that some variables have a significant influence on purchase intention directly but become less significant when influenced by brand image. Some variables can influence purchase intentions significantly through brand image, even if the certain variable did not have a significant influence on purchase intention directly. Conclusions: By knowing the significance of the variables towards brand image and purchase intention, ones with major influence can be implemented as a strategy to improve marketing in Indonesian furniture distributors.

  • Compared with the research on consumer engagement in brand community, the research on consumer engagement in brand public has been relatively less. This research aimed at exploring how brand public characteristics such as information variety, various communications and no limitation in expressing self affect the brand public engagement. 274 questionnaires answered by Chinese consumers are used to conduct analysis. Principal component analysis is used to test the reliability and validity of each construct, and structural equation model is used to test hypotheses. The study finds the positive effects of information variety on information benefits, those of various communications on social benefits, and also positive roles of no limitation in expressing self to brand-related self-expression motivation. And each of the information benefits, social benefits and brand-related self-expression motivation is proved to positively affect brand public engagement. The study implies that marketers should give attention to characteristics of brand public, and provide the ways by which members of brand public engage the brand. Additionally, marketers should pay more attention to both direct and indirect engagement activities of consumers toward brand public in social media to better understand their target consumers.

  • The study aims to provide some evidence of the effects of CSR practices on financial-based brand equity in Malaysia. Nowadays, many companies have embraced corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices because CSR is a vital component of the current competitive and complex business arena. It contributes greatly to social, environmental, and economic condition. With CSR practices, companies are able to achieve many benefits and there is evidence that CSR practices predict higher brand equity. However, little evidence has been produced concerning the effects of CSR practices on financial aspects of brand equity in developing countries such as Malaysia. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the effects of CSR practices on financial based brand equity among Malaysia Top 100 brand. A CSR checklist instrument was used in the current study to examine the extent of CSR practiced. The results indicated that PLCs that were actively involved in CSR practices such as environmental, community, workplace and marketplace, found that this involvement enhanced their brand equity. The findings provide useful support and evidence for the management of PLCs in Malaysia, as well as companies in other developing countries, to engage more in CSR practices as a core element of their strategic and brand management.

  • Corporate social responsibility is becoming increasingly important to organizations, and it has received a lot of attention from the general public and marketing academics. This study aimed to look at the many aspects of corporate social responsibility and see how brand reputation and brand love play a role in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and customer purchase intent. To reach the end, this research applied the theory of social exchange and corporate social responsibility to explain the relationship between the variables. The Partial Least Squares was applied to analyze data collected from survey questionnaires in the Hanoi market (Vietnam) to test the proposed hypothesis. The study resulted in 239 valid survey questionnaires which can be used to test hypotheses by applying SmarPLS software. The results indicated that there are three key elements of corporate social responsibility from customers' perspectives: responsibility to customers, responsibility to the environment, and responsibility to the community. Interestingly, brand reputation and brand love contribute as mediating roles in the correlation between corporate social responsibility and customer purchase intention. Finally, the authors discussed the findings and the implications of this research in both theoretical and practical aspects, as well as the limitations that future research can focus on.
