  • a mathematical model is presented to describe the current distribution on a rotaing disk electrode under the galvanostatic pulse conlitions. A numerical technique by finite difference method to the transient convective diffusion equation, coordinate transformation and separation of variables to Laplace equation, and an iterative algorithm to solve the above equations simtltaneously with approximate boundary conditions were developed. An experimental investigated based on copper deposition in a copper sulfate-sulfuric acid system was performed and satisfactory agreement was obtained between expermental and theoretical current distribution. The current distribution of copper deposition is secondary current distribution within the experimental conditions. Dimensionless variables, N and J as well as Wagner number were used to determine the criteria for the uniformity of current distribution.

  • In this paper, we study the bargaining strategy of a manufacturer who sells a product through the online and offline distribution channels. To do this, we derive and analyze the equilibrium solutions for both simultaneous and sequential bargaining games. The result shows that the optimal bargaining strategy heavily depends on the size of the online distribution channel's loyal customers and the difference between the retail prices of the online and the offline distribution channels. It is also shown that, in some cases, the online distribution channel has incentive to downsize its loyal customers and its retail price for a better bargaining outcome.

  • Recently, a multi-facility, multi-product and multi-period industrial production-distribution planning problem has been widely investigated in Supply Chain Management (SCM). One of the key issues in the current SCM research area involves reducing both production and distribution costs. We have developed an optimization model to tackle the above problems under the restricted conditions such as transportation time and a zero inventory. Computational experiments using commercial tool Ms-Excel Solver show that the real size problems we encountered can be solved in reasonable time. The model can be used to decide an appropriate production-distribution planning problem in SCM research area.

  • The purpose of this paper is to cultivate field of new distribution and it will set three detail aims and such aims will be propelled. First, investigates a present condition of domestic financial distribution, second, presents standard model of financial distribution, and third, confirms suitability of standard model on financial distribution for instance analysis. incidental purpose is to offer improvement method about corresponding instance through deduction of problem and estimate of analysis instance. The purpose of this paper is also to induce more strategic financial industry through research of related system such as LIS, CVO and TMS or through research of prior innovation contents by application to NONGHYUP for realization of financial distribution model.

  • Fractal antenna arrays are geometry-based thinned arrays having multiband applications. The major challenge of these arrays is their large number of elements at higher expansion factors. This article presents the thinning of fractal antenna arrays while maintaining an appropriate balance between the side lobe level and beam width by using various quantized fractal distribution functions. A 2D square fractal antenna array and 3DSierpinski gasket antenna array are considered in this article to validate the proposed distribution functions. Nearly one third of the antenna elements are thinned in each successive iteration except in the case of a one-count distribution function. The proposed technique can simplify practical implementation and exhibits better performance for various parameters such as the side lobe level, side lobe angle, and half power beam width than fully populated fractal antenna arrays.

  • The paper presents the estimation of power losses in distribution transformer of Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) distribution system at Muang district of Suphanburi province in Thailand. Data of 416 power distribution transformers composed of transformer (kVA), load current, no load loss and full load loss which were used for calculating energy losses. It was found that the total energy loss of all transformers is approximately 1,756,380 kWh/year.

  • One aims to find out how the operation condition of secondary inlet angle effects the temperature distribution inside a small incinerator. A finite volume commercial code, PHONICS, is used to simulate the temperature field in an incinerator. The computational grid system is constructed by Multi-Block technique. The governing equations based on the curvilinear coordinates are used. Numerical experiments are done with the five variations of secondary air inlet. The temperature distribution is quantified by the statistical deviation of temperature in an incinerator. The computational analysis says that the certain angle of secondary air inlet could improve the uniformity of temperature distribution in an incinerator.

  • We compare many normality tests consisting of different sources of information extracted from the given data: Anderson-Darling test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Cramervon Mises test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Shaprio-Francia test, Lilliefors, Jarque-Bera test, D'Agostino' D, Doornik-Hansen test, Energy test and Martinzez-Iglewicz test. For the purpose of comparison, those tests are applied to the various types of data generated from skewed distribution, unsymmetric distribution, and distribution with different length of support. We then summarize comparison results in terms of two things: type I error control and power. The selection of the best test depends on the shape of the distribution of the data, implying that there is no test which is the most powerful for all distributions.

  • Weibull distribution function is applied very successfully to the strength of brittle materials such as ceramics and the weakest link model is applied to explain the ovents. This paper deals with the effect of specimen size on the strength of ceramics. The values of tensile strength were calculated by the Monte-Calro simuation. The tensile strength obtained was plotted on Weibull probabillity papers and represented by the 3-parameter Weibull distribution. The strength distribution function was compared with the theoretical weibull distribution. As a result, it was found that the Weibull shape parameter was changed due to the size and there was a possibility of a false indication as if the weakest link model holds good. We should be very careful when we apply the Weibull statistics to estimate the strength of products.

  • Proper methods for facilities distribution are suggested by the examination of researches on facilities distribution, the analysis of the scope that facilities are used, and the consideration of facilities demand, and proper distribution and placement of facilities suitable for each stage is suggested. The theoretical examination for proper distribution and the analysis of the use scope is made. As a result. the area covers four dongs(administrative unit) within 1km. The $80{\sim}90%$ of residents who use the existing facilities are the ones living within 1km and so the zone of life in everyday life depending on walking as a means of movement is found to be expanded by the developments in transportation means and road construction. Therefore I suggested that lifetime sports facilities be established within the use scope whose radius and area are 1km and 4km2, respectively, regarding the sports facilities as a community center which can playa role of an institution of community center.
