  • Purpose - This study aims to analyze the relationship between trends in innovative EU industries and market distribution in smaller emerging markets under an open economy. Research design, data, and methodology - Although innovation was well-distributed, due to socio-economic factors following European integration, CEE had not achieved sustainable economic growth. However, this paper analyzes the differences among changes in CEE innovation for smaller emerging markets dominated since 2000. Market distribution has facilitated new markets for innovative industries, according to EU surveys and economic indicators. Results - The dominance of the local industrial market distribution has deterred innovation investment the survey shows that innovation investment has been shrinking, despite the EU's open innovation policy for CEE employment and R&D. For the CEE case, there were expectation gaps and uncertainty about whether to use the new distribution dominance or TNCs' innovation in smaller emerging countries without local industrial innovation. Conclusions - Innovation generates market growth and distribution power however, small growth requires stimulation, and creativity and innovative edge need further focus in local public and corporate strategy.

  • Our courtry's distribrtion business is on the luring point by opening the market to foreign countries from this year. It can be said that industrial goods are intermediated goods for the production of other goods or service So it requires quality and specialty than any other things. But the lack of understanding, small scale and classification by non-productive industry by government bring about difficulty to the distribution itself and other fields. Industrial goods have a long distribution channel. This distribution stracture can be reduce the channel by establishment of distribution complex. Establishment of distribution complex will strengthen the role of quality management and go far toward quality improvement. This study examine the distribution status of industrial goods, problems and study the extablishment of complex and expected affect.

  • As the COVID-19 outbreak has prolonged, social distancing movements are encouraged and non-face-to-face lifestyle trends are spreading. As a result, it is necessary for general restaurants and small marts to provide delivery services like large-scale distribution companies. Large distribution companies have also suffered significant economic losses from COVID-19 because epidemiological investigations were conducted after the distribution center was closed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in several large domestic distribution companies. In this thesis, in order to examine whether COVID-19 actually affects distribution companies, we attempt to understand the relationship between the number of confirmed cases per month and the sales share and growth rate by categories of distribution companies.

  • This research fundamentally deals with an analysis of service level for a multi-level inventory distribution system which is consisted of a central distribution center and several branches being supplied stocks from the distribution center, Under continuous review policy, the distribution center places an order for planned order quantity to an outside supplier, and the order quantity is received after a certain lead time. Also, each branch places an order for particular quantity to its distribution center, and receives the order quantity after a lead time. In most practical distribution environment, demands and lead times are generally not fixed or constant, but variable. And these variabilities make the analysis more complicated. Thus, the main objective of this research is to suggest a method to compute the service level at each depot, that is, the distribution center and each branch with variable demands and variable lead times. Further, the model will give an idea to keep the proper level of safety stocks that can attain effective or expected service level for each depot.

  • The Exponentiated Quasi Lindley (EQL) distribution which is an extension of the quasi Lindley Distribution is introduced and its properties are explored. This new distribution represents a more flexible model for the lifetime data. Some statistical properties of the proposed distribution including the shapes of the density and hazard rate functions, the moments and moment generating function, the distribution of the order statistics are given. The maximum likelihood estimation technique is used to estimate the model parameters and finally an application of the model with a real data set is presented for the illustration of the usefulness of the proposed distribution.

  • This paper describes the Bayesian approach for reliability demonstration test based on the samples from a finite population. The Bayesian approach involves the technical method about how to combine the prior distribution and the likelihood function to produce the posterior distribution. In this paper, the hypergeometric distribution is adopted as a likelihood function for a finite population. The conjugacy of the beta-binomial distribution and the hypergeometric distribution is shown and is used to make a decision about whether to accept or reject the finite population judging from a viewpoint of faulty goods. A numerical example is also given.

  • The first part of this thesis discusses the Pearson's Curve Family which gives $\beta$distribution, $\Gamma$-distribution, $X^2$-distribution and t-distribution. The second part of this thesis gives some brief process of calculations for normal distribution density and t-distribution density by the 7-th type Curve of Pearson's Curve Family. Finally, a conclusion arrives that Student(Gosset) could not find out his famous 'Student's t-distribution' without his attending of 'Pearson's Differential Equation' class taught by Pearson himself when he was a senior student. However, if he had got a professorship at the Pearson Statistics Laboratory, the University of London, then he could not have found 'Student's t-distribution' for small sampling technique of modern statistics.

  • In this paper, the authors studied a comprehensive study of national physical distribution costs used here was originally developed by J. L. Heskett(1962) and modified in Korean context by Oh-Kyung Kwon(1997). Using this method the authors calculated national physical distribution costs in Korea from 1984 to 1996. Unlke the major industrialized countries, national physical distribution costs in Korea showed continuous increasing trend in every senses. Using this time series data on physical distribution costs, we analysis the inefficiencies in the physical distribution and figured out the sources of these inefficiencies. The major sources of increasing physical distribution costs in Korea were (1) increasing traffic congestion measured by number of automobiles per road-kilometer, (2) increasing real wages, and (3) high interest rates. Especially, alternatives adopted by firms facing increasing traffic congestion were buying more vehicles, which in turn caused more serious congestion ever. This inefficient cycle in physical distribution area should be cut somehow in order to restore national competitiveness of Korean frims by reducing physical distributins costs.

  • This study analyzed the temperature distribution in DPF with five partitioned electric heaters. The temperature distribution in DPF is an important design factor for regeneration and durability of filter. The design Factors that influence the temperature distribution in DPF there are several. In this study, the characteristics of temperature distribution in DPF were analyzed according to the following changes. First, the thermal conductivity of the filter was analyzed about effect on the durability of the filter. Second, the length from exhaust manifold to inlet of DPF was analyzed about effect on the temperature distribution in DPF. The boundary conditions of analysis has been verified with comparison to the results of existing experimental study and the numerical analysis. Based on the identified boundary condition, on assuming the condition of the actual driving, the temperature distribution in DPF was analyzed according to material properties of filter and the position of DPF.
