  • We established economic models for economic performance analysis in order to respond to changes in a rapidly changing environment. We tried to maximize business efficiency and performance of science and technology information management distribution project. The science and technology information management distribution project is significantly different from general R&D project. In this paper, it is meaningful to develop economic models to analyze economic outcomes for science and technology information management distribution project. We anticipate that these models will contribute greatly to economic performance analysis for science and technology information management distribution project.

  • In this paper, we give the definition of the two dimensional q-Gabor wavelet. It consists of the q-normal distribution, which is also given in this paper. If the q-normal distribution is used as a kernel of the Gabor wavelet instead of the normal distribution, the q-Gabor wavelet is obtained. Furthermore, the q-Gabor wavelet is compared with the Gabor and the Haar wavelets to show how good The q-Gabor wavelet is.

  • Using an information of dimensions of divergence points, we give full information of dimensions of the completely decomposed class of the lower(upper) distribution sets of a self-similar Cantor set. Further using a relationship between the distribution sets and the subsets generated by the lower(upper) local dimensions of a self-similar measure, we give full information of dimensions of the subsets by the local dimensions.

  • Polymer separations are used to obtain information on molecular distributions (molecular-weight distribution, chemical-composition distribution, functionality-type distribution, etc.). The existing methods, such as size-exclusion chromatography are reliable, but imperfect. New methods and improvements to existing methods are being studied and some of the results will be discussed. In addition, comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography allows the complete characterization of two mutually dependent distributions. LCxSEC chromatograms provide a very good qualitative impression of the distributions, but calibration is not straightforward. Finally, progress in mass spectrometry allows much better information to be obtained.

  • In this paper, we develop noninformative priors for the generalized Pareto distribution when the scale parameter is of interest. We developed the rst order and the second order matching priors. We revealed that the second order matching prior does not exist. It turns out that the reference prior and Jeffrey's prior do not satisfy a first order matching criterion, and Jeffreys' prior, the reference prior and the matching prior are different. Some simulation study is performed and a real example is given.

  • We consider the empirical Bayes confidence intervals that attain a specified level of EB coverage for the scale parameter in the Burr distribution under type II censoring data. Also, we compare the coverage probabilities and the expected confidence interval lengths for these confidence intervals through simulation study.

  • In this paper, we develop the reference and the matching priors for the reliability function of two-parameter exponential distribution. We derive the reference priors and the matching prior, and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors and the matching prior. Through the sim-ulation study, we show that the proposed reference priors match the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

  • Precipitation measurement with ground-based radar needs an information of the raindrop size distribution (RSD) characteristics. A 10-month dataset was collected in tropical Atlantic coastal zone of northeastern Brazil where the weather radar was installed. The number of drop was mainly recorded in 300 - 500 drop $mm^{-3}$, of which the maximum was registered around 1.1 mm drop diameter.

  • Suggested is an EM algorithm for estimation in mixture of shifted Poisson distributions with known shift parameters. For this type of mixture distribution, we have to utilize values of shift parameters to determine whether each of data belongs to some component distribution. We propose a method of estimating values of component information and then follow typical EM methodology. Simulation results show that the algorithm provides reasonable performance for the distribution.
