  • This Paper presents the 2-step load cycle of daily load curve for representative load pattern of power distribution transformer. We decide the representative load pattern of distribution transformer in domestic using the pattern classification algorithm. The K-mean method is used for the pattern classification algorithm. The acquisition equipment of field load data is utilized for 96-sample distribution transformers and the field data is used in the construction of the database for the creation of daily load pattern.

  • Moisture transport in concrete in atmospheric environment was studied in this paper. Based on the simplified formula of the thickness of the adsorbed layer, the pore-size distribution function of cement paste was calculated utilizing the water adsorption isotherms. Taking into consideration of the hysteresis effect in cement paste, the moisture diffusivity of cement paste was obtained by the integration of the pore-size distribution. Concrete is regarded as a two-phase composite with cement paste and aggregate, neglecting the moisture diffusivity of aggregate, then moisture diffusivity of concrete was evaluated using the composite theory. Finally, numerical simulation of humidity response during both wetting and drying process was carried out by the finite difference method of partial differential equation for moisture transport, and the numerical results well capture the trend of the measured data.

  • The small loop EM method is a fast and convenient geophysical tool which can give shallow subsurface resistivity distribution. It can be a useful alternative of resistivity method in conductive environment. We applied the multi-frequency small loop EM method for the investigation of a soft ground landfill site which was constructed on a tideland since the resistivity of the survey area is extremely low. 3D resistivity distribution was obtained by merging 1D inversion results and shallow subsurface structure can be interpreted. By comparing the result with the drilling log and measured soil resistivity sampled at 16 drill holes, we can get lot of information such as groundwater level, thickness of landfill, salinity distribution, depth to the basement and etc.

  • Nonevasive multifrequency microwave radiometry using coaxial waveguide antenna has been investigated for a homogeneous and four layer human body model. The coupling between coaxial waveguide antenna and a biological object was analyzed by use of the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method to obtain the absorbed power patterns in the media. The object studied in this paper was a homogeneous and four-layered lossy medium. The specific absorption rates(SAR) distribution which was corresponding to the temperature distribution was calculated in each region by use of the steady-state response in FDTD method. The SAR pattern of 1.2GHz was compared with that of 1.8GHz.

  • $SrTiO_3$ was annealed at two different annealing times (1 h and 16 h) to investigate the annealing effect on the grain size and orientation distribution. Electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) was used to analyze the grain size and grain orientation distributions of the $SrTiO_3$. It is possible to understand the annealing effect on the microstructure evolution, by comparing the grain size and orientation distribution of the $SrTiO_3$ as a function of annealing time.

  • In this study, we summarized previous studies on diversity and distribution of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) for last 30 years in Korea. According to a review of the literature concerning AMF in Korea, 14 genera and 89 species have been recorded. Host plants for AMF are very diverse and include crop species and woody plants in natural forests. Based on the achievements of the last 30 years of study on AMF, we anticipate that relatively more intensive studies of the functional and genetic diversity of AMF will be conducted.

  • In this paper, a new extension of Lindley distribution has been introduced. Certain characterizations based on truncated moments, hazard and reverse hazard function, conditional expectation of the proposed distribution are presented. Besides, these characterizations, other statistical/mathematical properties of the proposed model are also discussed. The estimation of the parameters is performed through different classical methods of estimation. Bayes estimation is computed under gamma informative prior under the squared error loss function. The performances of all estimation methods are studied via Monte Carlo simulations in mean square error sense. The potential of the proposed model is analyzed through two data sets. A modified goodness-of-fit test using the Nikulin-Rao-Robson statistic test is investigated via two examples and is observed that the new extension might be used as an alternative lifetime model.

  • The skew-t distribution is an attractive family of asymmetrical heavy-tailed densities that includes the normal, skew-normal and Student's-t distributions as special cases. In this work, we propose an EM-type algorithm for computing the maximum likelihood estimates for skew-t linear regression models with censored response. In contrast with previous proposals, this algorithm uses analytical expressions at the E-step, as opposed to Monte Carlo simulations. These expressions rely on formulas for the mean and variance of a truncated skew-t distribution, and can be computed using the R library MomTrunc. The standard errors, the prediction of unobserved values of the response and the log-likelihood function are obtained as a by-product. The proposed methodology is illustrated through the analyses of simulated and a real data application on Letter-Name Fluency test in Peruvian students.

  • In this paper, we introduce new subclasses of analytic and bi-univalent functions associated with the Mittag-Leffler-type Borel distribution by using the Legendre polynomials. Furthermore, we find estimates on the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these subclasses and obtain Fekete-Szegő problem for these subclasses. We also state certain new subclasses of Σ and initial coefficient estimates and Fekete-Szegő inequalities.

  • The genus Gueldenstaedtia Fisch. is small genus of Fabaceae that includes four species worldwide. Among these, G. monophylla Fisch and G. verna (Georgi) Boriss. are currently recognized as occurring in Mongolia. Here, we present our findings on G. verna from our recent field surveys in eastern Mongolia in 2020. Gueldenstaedtia monophylla is mostly distributed in the western region, whereas G. verna occurs in eastern Mongolia. The regional conservation status of both species was assessed as near threatened based on criterion B in the country. We provided descriptions, grid distribution maps, taxonomic notes and photographic illustrations of the two species based on our newly collected samples.
