In this paper, a plan-coordination architecture is proposed for multi-agent control in the fractal manufacturing system (FrMS). A fractal in FrMS is a set of distributed agents whose goal can be achieved through cooperation, coordination, and negotiation with other agents. Since each agent in the FrMS generates, achieves, and modifies its own plan fragments autonomously during the coordination process with other agents, it is necessary to develop a systematic methodology for the achievement of global plan in the manufacturing system. The heterarchical structure of the FrMS provides a compromised plan-coordination approach, it compromise a centralized plan-generation/execution (which mainly focuses on the maximization of throughput) with a distributed one (which focuses on the autonomy of each module and flexibility of the whole system). Plan-coordinators in lower level fractal independently generate plan fragments according to the global plan of higher level fractal, and plan-coordinators in higher level fractal mediate/coordinate the plan fragments to enhance the global performance of the system. This paper assumes that generation method of the plan fragments and the negotiation policy of the fractal is achieved by a simple process, and we mainly focuses on the information exchanging and distributed decision making process to coordinate the combinations of plan fragments within a limited exchange of information.
previously, several basic studies in the experimental analysis of stress intensity factors of cracks by slab analogy have been presented by authors. But, for the application of above mentioned method to the analysis of the arbitrarily distributed cracks, there still is several bottlenecks to be overcome in terms of its experimental process and data treatment. Moreover, authors recently proposed an improved experimental method to use the fixed slab analogy device which has promised more accurate measurement of S.I.F. of small cracks. In this paper, for the completion of slab analogy analysis of distributed cracks, a grating imaginary rotation method is introduced. And, to prove its validity, this combined method is applied to the determination of stress intensity factors of theoretically known distributed cracks. The results show good agreement with the existing theoretical solutions and physical crack propagation tendencies.
As the size and complexity of network increase Distributed System Management (DSM) will be significant issue within information network in order to increase the high reliability and to improve the flexibility of network management. The OSI management model has several problems. The key problems are that it does not fully address the problem of how to develop communication protocol in support of DSM and how to classify the management connection criteria. In this paper to solve first problem described above this paper propose the connectionless CMIP to accomplish for effectively managing the distributed management managing systems to handle the dynamic informations. To work out second problem we introduce the connection criteria in the hierarchy of management system and finally evaluate the efficiency of a suggested protocol during cooperative negotiation among the managing system.
This paper presents an analytical method for the reliability evaluation of distribution system, including the distributed generations. Unlike the large sized generations of transmission system, the distributed generations have complexities in analyzing and determining the operation. In the process of evaluate reliability, it can be shown that the analytical method is simpler than the Monte-Carlo simulation and the method using Load Duration Curve model is more accurate than that using peak load model. The modeling of distributed generation to analysis distribution system reliability using LDC is proposed in this Paper, and is compared with the MCS method as a result of case studies.
Distributed Bragg reflector porous silicon of different characteristics were formed to determine their optical constants in the visible wavelength range using a periodic square wave current between low and high current densities. The surface and cross-sectional SEM images of distributed Bragg reflector porous silicon were obtained using a cold field emission scanning electron microscope. The surface image of distributed Bragg reflector porous silicon indicates that the distributions of pores are even. The cross-sectional image illustrates that the multilayer of distributed Bragg reflector porous silicon exhibits a depth of few microns and applying of square current density during the etching process results two distinct refractive indices in the contrast. Distributed Bragg reflector porous silicon exhibited a porosity depth profile that related directly to the current-time profile used in etch. Its free-standing film was obtained by applying an electro-polishing current.
The paper describes the contents and results of the national project named "Development of Computer Integrated Product Design for Automation Equipment". It is focussed on the real-time control '||'&'||' monitoring of manufacturing process for automobile rubber parts. Automobile rubber parts industy is one of the typical process that high11 depends upon manufacturing facilities and equipments. So. it requires high cost and engineering technolog) on plant implementation. But most companies of rubber parts industries are small or mid companies that habe weak abilities for plant implementation properly and systematically. Therefore, for upgrading the levelof automation. it is necessar). to dekelope the computer based management and monitoring slsteni that enables to build-up the common base of automation and systemization. 'Through this project. we developed low cost real-time monitoring system for banbun mixing process '||'&'||' mold injection process of rubbcr parts manufacturing, that is composed with DDCU(Distributed Digital Control Unit),signal interfaces to gathering mon~toring terms and speciall\ developed functional sofhare including some algorithm for management '||'&'||' process monitoring
This paper describes the development of an integrating method for process planning and scheduling activities for block assembly in shipbuilding. A block is composed of several steel plates and steel sections with the predetermined shapes according to the ship design. The parts which constitute the block are manufac- tured by cutting and/or bending operations, which are termed as machining operation in this paper. The machining operation is the first process for block assembly which influences the remaining block assembly processes. Thus process planning and scheduling for machining operation to manufacture parts for block are very important to meet the assembly schedule in the shipyard. An integrating method for process plan- ning and scheduling is developed by introducing the concept of distributed process planning and scheduling composed of initial planning, alternative planning and final planning stages. In initial planning stage, nesting parts information and machining emthods are generated for each steel plate. In alternative plan- ning stage, machine groups are selected and workcenter dispatching information is generated. In final planning stage, cutting sequences are determined. The integrated system is tested by case study. The result shows that the integrated system is more efficient than existing manual planning system.
또한 분산 컴포넌트 기반의 소프트웨어 개발을 가능하게 하는 EJB(Enterprise Java Beans)[1] COM(Component Object Model )[2]. CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture)[3] 와 같은 기술이 급격히 발전하고 있다.
