XML and CORBA Integration Architecture for Supporting Various Service Types (다양한 서비스 유형을 지원하는 CORBA와 XML의 연동구조)

  • Today, XML is widely used to present structured data and its importance has been expanded much in the web environment. Generally, we exchange XML documents to process XML-based data in distributed processing environments like a CORBA. But we need to configure CORBA environments to process XML documents. The system that has initially been designed to process XML is required. If there is no such system, we should configure most parts of the system, namely, IDL definition and CORBA client, CORBA server, implementation objects. In this paper, we propose a system that can apply an integration structure of web environment and CORBA without any additional configuration. Our proposed system can support various service types, namely, Also it can offer extensibility to legacy system with CORBA by using servlet and SOAP. Our proposed system can extend the structure to integrate XML with CORBA, Hence the web platform environment that applies this architecture can support much easier integration with CORBA environment.

  • Bot is a kind of worm/virus that is remotely controlled by a herder. Bot can be used to launch distributed denial-of-service(DDoS) attacks or send spam e-mails etc. Launching cyber attacks using malicious Bots is motivated by increased monetary gain which is not the objective of worm/virus. However, it is very difficult for infected user to detect this infection of Botnet which becomes more serious problems. This is why botnet is a dangerous, malicious program. The Bot DNS Sinkhole is a domestic bot mitigation scheme which will be proved in this paper as one of an efficient ways to prevent malicious activities caused by bots and command/control servers. In this paper, we analysis botnet activities over more than one-year period, including Bot's lifetime, Bot command/control server's characterizing. And we analysis more efficient ways to prevent botnet activities. We have showed that DNS sinkhole scheme is one of the most effective Bot mitigation schemes.

  • The web services concept is rising as a standard to integrate heterogeneous systems in distributed environment based on XML messaging. Recently, for that reason, many companies are trying to use web services for their B2C and B2B business. In order to successfully introduce the web services, it is required to guarantee a differentiated quality of web services. However, most of the current web services cannot provide differentiated policies for requested messages and the existing web servers cannot consider appropriately the quality factors of web services in the service level agreement between provider and consumer. In this paper, we analyzed appropriate quality factors of web services in application level and suggested priority allocation strategy for processes dealing with messages of web services using those factors. This strategy can allocate dynamically a priority to satisfy the service level agreement.

  • Recently, a study on data has been actively conducted because the value of the data has become more useful. Web crawler that is program of data collection recently spotlighted because it can take advantage of the various fields. Web crawler can be defined as a tool to analyze the web pages and collects the URL by traversing the web server in an automated manner. For the treatment of Big-data, distributed Web crawler is widely used which is based on the Hadoop MapReduce. But, it is difficult to use and has constraints on the performance. Apache spark that is the In-memory computing platform is an alternative to MapReduce. The search engine which is one of the main purposes of web crawler displays the information you search by keyword gathered by web crawler. If search engines implement a spark-based web crawler instead of traditional MapReduce-based web crawler, it would be a more rapid data collection.

  • This paper proposes an interactive VOD system to serve truly interactive VCR services using multicast delivery, client buffer and web-caching technique which implements the distributed proxy in Head-End- Network(HNET). This technique adopts some caches in the HNET that consists of a Switching Agent(SA), some Head-End-Nodes(HEN) and many clients. In this model, HENs distributively store the requested video under the control of SA. Also, client buffer dynamically expands to support various VCR playback rate. Thus, interactive services are offered with transmitting video streams from network, HENs and stored streams on buffer. Therefore this technique makes the load of network occur In the limited area, minimizes the additional channel allocation from server and restricts the transmission of duplicated video contents

  • The targets for the traditional IT management solutions has been mostly systems (server) and networks. Such that management system for system and network, SMS and NMS respectively, used be the IT management solutions. Now the speed of hardware improvement is faster than ever, the performance improvement scope is shifting from hardware towards software. Therefore, it is not arguable that the business success depends on the efficient and optimized application performance management. There are many different approaches are developed in the application performance management, but in this study, API-based logging system that most efficiently visualizes the correlation of call and response between Components and enables active performance management for monitoring real-time applications operation status and resolving the problems and failures quickly.

  • When broadcasters want immediately a variety of VOD files in a distributed server of them data centers and away contents provider, CPs of different platform to exchange high-quality HD, 3DTV video and other video files over the IP networks of high-performance that can be transferred quickly and must be configured quickly. This paper, by using an optional encryption method to complement a QoS and security of public network, suggests high speed and secure content transmission protocol such as VPN(Virtual Private Network) for large video files and big data. As configured high performance VPN, end to end devices use the best of available resources over public network by parallel transfer protocol and the secure content delivery network.

Design and Implementation of the Performance Driven UI-Mashup Architecture (성능 주도의 UI-Mashup 아키텍처의 설계 및 구현)

  • UI-Mashup is widely used as a service method to add value, which is composed of distributed various contents on the internet and has turned out to be one of the latest trends in web application program development. Previous UI-Mashup-related studies have focused primarily on the dynamic service composition and have not been able to adapt to a rapidly changing Web Standard, thusthe end users conclude that UI-Mashups are slow, incompatible and poor security services. In this study, We propose an architecture for the performance improvements of UI-Mashup.In order to provide fast services and security enhancements, the proposed architecture collects UI fragments on the server in parallel, and sends layouts and contents of Mashups UI to the client through a special delivery channel supporting fast reaction and response time. In this study, the implementation and performance tests were proceeded to verify the proposed architecture experimentally. As a result of the performance testing, the proposed architecture has two to three times faster response time and more than four times throughput compared to the previous UI-Mashup technology.

  • Concurrency control is one of the important factors to maintain consistent conditions of a game because most participants of the game should be shared information to play the game through a distributed network system. replay delay times should establish in every event and the received event should be saved and performed simultaneously for Concurrency Control. However, it is not easy to practice the event with same speed in environment having various moving speed. Therefore, expansion have to be provided. In other words, one of the most important factors of a game's efficiency is the process of bandwidth and delay. the process of concurrency control method based on scalable prediction for Multi-platform games would minimize the loss rate of a event and then would improve the interaction capacity of a game. It also might get reliability between clients. This paper analyzes some problems in terms of a layout of a game that integrates a cable and a wireless system. In addition, this paper provides methods to expand bandwidth and delay that might be an obstacle of a On-line game and to ensure reliability between a server and a client.

An Extended Dynamic Web Page Recommendation Algorithm Based on Mining Frequent Traversal Patterns (빈발 순회패턴 탐사에 기반한 확장된 동적 웹페이지 추천 알고리즘)

  • The Web is the largest distributed information space but, the individual's capacity to read and digest contents is essentially fixed. In these Web environments, mining traversal patterns is an important problem in Web mining with a host of application domains including system design and information services. Conventional traversal pattern mining systems use the inter-pages association in sessions with only a very restricted mechanism (based on vector or matrix) for generating frequent K-Pagesets. We extend a family of novel algorithms (termed WebPR - Web Page Recommend) for mining frequent traversal patterns and then pageset to recommend. We add a WebPR(A) algorithm into a family of WebPR algorithms, and propose a new winWebPR(T) algorithm introducing a window concept on WebPR(T). Including two extended algorithms, our experimentation with two real data sets, including LadyAsiana and KBS media server site, clearly validates that our method outperforms conventional methods.
