Due to the development of communication technology and expansion of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), the car is changing from a simple mechanical device to second living space which has comprehensive convenience function and is evolved into the platform which is playing as an interface for this role. As the interface area to provide various information to the passenger is being expanded, the research importance about smart car based user experience is rising. This study has a research objective to propose the guidelines regarding the smart car user experience elements. In order to conduct this study, smart car user experience elements were defined as function, interaction, and surface and through the discussions of UX/UI experts, 8 representative techniques, 14 representative techniques, and 8 locations of the glass windows were specified for each element. Following, the smart car users' priorities of the experience elements, which were defined through targeting 100 drivers, were analyzed in the form of questionnaire survey. The analysis showed that the users' priorities in applying the main techniques were in the order of safety, distance, and sensibility. The priorities of the production method were in the order of voice recognition, touch, gesture, physical button, and eye tracking. Furthermore, regarding the glass window locations, users prioritized the front of the driver's seat to the back. According to the demographic analysis on gender, there were no significant differences except for two functions. Therefore this showed that the guidelines of male and female can be commonly applied. Through user requirement analysis about individual elements, this study provides the guides about the requirement in each element to be applied to commercialized product with priority.
The light and energy-efficiency of classical liquid crystal displays is notoriously poor due to the use of absorption-based linear polarisers and colour filters. For instance, the light efficiency of PVAL polarisers is typically between 40 and 45 % and the colour filters have a typical efficiency below 35 % which results in a total light and energy-efficiency of the display below 10 %. In the past, a variety of polarizers were developed with an enhanced efficiency in generating linearly polarized light. Typically, these polarizers are based on the polarisationselective reflection, scattering or refraction of light i.e. one polarisation direction of light is directly transmitted to the LCD/viewer and the other polarization direction of light is depolarised and recycled which results in a typical efficiency for generating linearly polarized light of 70-85 %. Also, special colour filters have been proposed based on chiral-nematic reactive mesogens which increase the efficiency of generating colour. Despite the enormous progress in this field, a need persists for improved methods for generating polarized light and colour based on low cost optical components with a high efficiency. Here, the use of holographic phase gratings is reported for the generation of polarized light and colour. The phase grating are recorded in a photopolymer which is coated onto a backor frontlight for LCDs. Typically the recording is performed in the transmisson mode or in the waveguiding mode and slanted phase gratings are generated with their refractive index modulation at an angle between 20o and 45o with the normal of the substrate. It is shown that phase gratings with a high refractive index modulation and a high efficiency can be generated by a proper selection of the photopolymer and illumination conditions. These phase gratings coupleout linearly polarized light with a high contrast (> 100) and the light is directed directly to the LCD/viewer without the need for redirection foils. Dependent on the type of phase grating, the different colours are coupled-out at a slightly different angle which potentially increases the efficiency of classical colour filters. Moreover, the phase gratings are completely transparent in direct view which opens the possibility to use them in frontlights for LCDs. Holographic polarization gratings posses a periodic pattern in the polarization state of light (and not in the intensity of light). A periodic pattern in the polarization direction of linearly polarized light is obtained upon interference of two circularly polarized laser beams. In the second part of the lecture, it is shown that these periodic polarization patterns can be recorded in a linear photo-polymerizable polymer (LPP) and that such an alignment layer induces a period rotation in the director of (reactive and non-reactive) liquid crystals. By a proper design, optical components can be produced with only first order diffraction and with a very high efficiency (>0.98). It is shown that these diffraction gratings are potentially useful in projection displays with a high brightness and energy efficiency

In this paper, a small area 12-bit 300MSPS CMOS Digital-to-Analog Converter(DAC) is proposed for display systems. The architecture of the DAC is based on a current steering 6+6 segmented type, which reduces non-linearity error and other secondary effects. In order to improve the linearity and glitch noise, an analog current cell using monitoring bias circuit is designed. For the purpose of reducing chip area and power dissipation, furthermore, a noble self-clocked switching logic is proposed. To verify the performance, it is fabricated with $0.13{\mu}m$ thick-gate 1-poly 6-metal N-well Samsung CMOS technology. The effective chip area is $0.26mm^2$ ($510{\mu}m{\times}510{\mu}m$) with 100mW power consumption. The measured INL (Integrated Non Linearity) and DNL (Differential Non Linearity) are within ${\pm}3LSB$ and ${\pm}1LSB$, respectively. The measured SFDR is about 70dB, when the input frequency is 15MHz at 300MHz clock frequency.

We constructed a large $na{\ddot{i}}ve$ human Fab library ($3{\times}10^{10}$ colonies) from the lymphocytes of 809 human donors, assessed available diversities of the heavy-chain variable (VH) and ${\kappa}$ light-chain variable (VK) domain repertoires, and validated the library by selecting Fabs against 10 therapeutically relevant antigens by phage display. We obtained a database of unique 7,373 VH and 41,804 VK sequences by 454 pyrosequencing, and analyzed the repertoires. The distribution of VH and VK subfamilies and germline genes in our antibody repertoires slightly differed from those in earlier published natural antibody libraries. The frequency of somatic hypermutations (SHMs) in heavy-chain complementarity determining region (HCDR)1 and HCDR2 are higher compared with the natural IgM repertoire. Analysis of position-specific SHMs in CDRs indicates that asparagine, threonine, arginine, aspartate and phenylalanine are the most frequent non-germline residues on the antibody-antigen interface and are converted mostly from the germline residues, which are highly represented in germline SHM hotspots. The amino acid composition and length-dependent changes in amino acid frequencies of HCDR3 are similar to those in previous reports, except that frequencies of aspartate and phenylalanine are a little higher in our repertoire. Taken together, the results show that this antibody library shares common features of natural antibody repertoires and also has unique features. The antibody library will be useful in the generation of human antibodies against diverse antigens, and the information about the diversity of natural antibody repertoires will be valuable in the future design of synthetic human antibody libraries with high functional diversity.

The paper actualizes the twin camera module system that is portable and very useful for the production of 3D contents. The suggested twin camera module system is a system to be able to display the 3D image after converting the inputted image from 2D stereo camera. To evaluate the performance of the twin camera module suggested in this paper, I assessed the correction of Rotation and Tilt created depending on the visual difference between the left and right stereoscopic image shot by the left and right lenses by using the Test Platform. In addition, I verified the efficiency of the twin camera module system through verifying Depth Error of 3D stereoscopic image by means of Scale Invariant Feature Transform(SIFT) algorithm. I think that if the user utilizes the suggested twin camera module system in displaying the image to the external after converting the shot image into the 3D stereoscopic image and the preparation image, it is possible to display the image in a matched way with an output device fit respectively for different 3D image production methods and if the user utilizes the system in displaying the created image in the form of the 3D stereoscopic image and the preparation image via different channels, it is possible to produce 3D image contents easily and conveniently with applying to lots of products.
In recent emerging industry, Display field becomes bigger and bigger, and also semiconductor technology becomes high density integration. In Flat Panel Display, there is an issue that electrostatic phenomenon results in fine dust adsorption as electrostatic capacity increases due to bigger size. Destruction of high integrated circuit and pattern deterioration occur in semiconductor and this causes the problem of weakening of thermal resistance. In order to solve this sort of electrostatic failure in this process, Soft X-ray ionizer is mainly used. Soft X-ray Ionizer does not only generate electrical noise and minute particle but also is efficient to remove electrostatic as it has a wide range of ionization. X-ray Generating efficiency has an effect on soft X-ray Ionizer affects neutralizing performance. There exist variable factors such as type of anode, thickness, tube voltage etc., and it takes a lot of time and financial resource to find optimal performance by manufacturing with actual X-ray tube source. MCNPX (Monte Carlo N-Particle Extended) is used for simulation to solve this kind of problem, and optimum efficiency of X-ray generation is anticipated. In this study, X-ray generation efficiency was measured according to target material thickness using MCNPX under the conditions that tube voltage is 5 keV, 10 keV, 15 keV and the target Material is Tungsten(W), Gold(Au), Silver(Ag). At the result, Gold(Au) shows optimum efficiency. In Tube voltage 5 keV, optimal target thickness is $0.05{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $2.22{\times}10^8$ x-ray flux. In Tube voltage 10 keV, optimal target Thickness is $0.18{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $1.97{\times}10^9$ x-ray flux. In Tube voltage 15 keV, optimal target Thickness is $0.29{\mu}m$ and Largest energy of Light flux appears $4.59{\times}10^9$ x-ray flux.
Purpose - This study analyzes loading efficiency by loading pattern for package standardization and reduction of logistics costs, along with the creation of revenue for the revenue review panel (RRP) of Membership Wholesale Clubs (MWC). The study aims to identify standard dimensions that can help improve the compatibility of the pallets related to display patterns preferred by the MWC and thereby explore ways to enhance logistics efficiency between manufacturers and retailers through standardization. Research design, data, and methodology - The study investigates and analyzes the current status based on actual case examples, i.e., manufacturer A and Korea's MWC (A company, B company, and C company), and thus devises improvement measures. To achieve this, the case of manufacturer A delivering to MWC was examined, and the actual pallet display patterns for each MWC were investigated by visiting each distribution site. In this study, TOPS (Total Optimization Packaging Software, USA) was used as the tool for pallet loading efficiency simulations the maximum allowable dimension was set to 0.0mm to prevent the pallet from falling outside the parameters, and the loading efficiency was analyzed with the pallet area. In other words, the study focused on dimensions (length x width x height) according to the research purpose and thereby deduced results. Results - The analysis of pallet loading patterns showed that the most preferred loading patterns for loading efficiency according to product specification, such as pinwheel, brick, and block patterns, were used in the case of the general distribution products, but the products were configured with block patterns in most cases when delivered to MWCs. The loading efficiency by loading pattern was analyzed with respect to 104 nationally listed standard dimensions. Meanwhile, No.51 (330 × 220mm) of KS T 1002 (1,100 × 1,100mm) was found to be the dimension that could bring about an improved loading efficiency, over 90.0% simultaneously in both the T-11 and T-12 pallet systems in a loading pattern configuration with the block pattern only, and the loading efficiency simulation results also confirmed this as the standard dimension that can be commonly applied to both the T-11 pallet (90.0%) and the T-12 pallet (90.7%) systems. Conclusions - The loading efficiency simulation results by loading pattern were analyzed: For the T-11 pallet system, 17 standard dimension sizes displayed the loading efficiency of 90.0% or more as block patterns, and the loading capacity was an average of 99.0%. For the T-12 pallet system, 35 standard dimension sizes displayed the loading efficiency of more than 90% as block patterns (the average loading efficiency of 98.6%). Accordingly, this study proposes that the standard dimensions of 17 sizes with the average loading efficiency of 99.0% should be applied in the use of the T-11 pallet system, and those of 35 sizes with the average loading efficiency of 98.6% should be reviewed and applied in the use of the T-12 pallet system.

Recently, global warming and tropical nights have caused the use of electric fans to explode. Under these circumstances, running the fan for long periods of time is not only a risk of explosion due to overloading the power but also a small amount of electricity and environmental pollution. Therefore, the research was conducted to develop devices that automatically turn fans on and off according to room temperature, reducing the risk of explosion as well as saving energy. This study suggested that electric fans turn on and off automatically and display temperature in mobile applications. The ability to turn on and off allows the fan to turn on itself if the indoor temperature rises above a certain level. Conversely, if the indoor temperature drops below a certain level, the fan should be turned off. Second, the temperature display function checks indoor temperature through mobile applications. The automatic on/off capabilities proposed in this study could contribute to reducing the risk of explosion and saving energy. However, if the indoor temperature rises above a certain temperature even though there is no one inside, the fan can be turned on. The expectation from this study is that the ability of fans to operate and turn off at appropriate temperatures can reduce the risk of explosion, electrical charges, and environmental pollution.
This is the research on the correlation between the marketing activities conducted by the companies participating in the overseas exhibitions in the exhibition and the satisfaction of the visitors. I have been able to obtain the following findings through the positive research on the satisfaction of the visitors to the overseas exhibitions. The research findings show that the external elements of the participating companies such as 'external appearances of booths, interior facilities and the atmosphere', 'designs of exhibits', 'size of the participating companies', and the publicity elements of the participating companies such as 'the degree of application of mass media', 'prior publicity of the participating companies', etc. among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies in the exhibition affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors. The findings also show that the elements to induce the interest of the visitors such as the booth design and display of products where the participating companies may produce their unique image and the prior publicity to the visitors constitute the important elements of marketing. It has also been revealed that the visitors whose purpose of the visits are to purchase the products and to satisfy their interest in 'the events and contents of the events affect the interest and the repeat business deals of the visitors, among the interest and repeat business deals pursuant to the characteristics of the visitors. It has also been found that the visitors who have recognized the representative brands in the exhibitions affect the interest and the repeat business deals and the visitors who have visited the exhibition several times are more satisfied than the visitors who have visited the exhibition for the first time. The comparative evaluation of the degree of importance of the marketing activities of the participating companies before the visitors' visit to the exhibitions and the degree of satisfaction after their visit reveals degrees of satisfaction in the order of 'the booth staff's professional knowledge of the exhibits', 'foreign language proficiency and their techniques of negotiation and demonstration', 'designs of the exhibits (colors and packaging), 'prior publicity of the participating companies. Such being the case, the companies participating in any of the overseas should maximize the result of their participation in the exhibition by training their staff in the products and foreign languages and through the prior publicity. It has also been found out that "the atmosphere of the booth in the exhibition such as 'launching of new products', 'external appearances of the booth, layout of the interior facilities and the atmosphere and events of the participating companies affect the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors, among the factors for the satisfaction of the visitors. Therefore, it has been proven that the external factors such as the external appearances of the booth, display of the products, launching of new products and events producing the atmosphere of the booth of the participating companies among the marketing activities conducted by the participating companies, and the extent of the training of the booth staff and prior publicity are the major factors affecting the interest and repeat business deals of the visitors.

The research of skin-tone detection has been conducting continuously to enlarge the importance in security, surveillance and administration of the information and 'Password Control System' for using face and skin recognition in airports, harbors and general companies. As well as tile rapid diffusion of the application range in image communications and an electron transaction using wide range of communication network, the importance of the accurate detection of skin color has been augmenting recently. In this paper, it will set up the boundaries of skin colors using the information of Cb and Cr in YCbCr color model of human skin color which is from hundreds compiled portrait images for each race, and suggest a efficient yet simple structure about the skin detection which has been followed by whether the comprehension of the boundaries of skin or not with adaptive skin-range set. With the possibility of the 1D Processes which does not use any memory, it is able to be applied to relatively small-sized hardware and system such as mobile apparatuses. To add the selective mode, it is not only available the improvement of tie skin detection, but also showing the correspondent results about previous face recognition technologies using complicated algorithm.
