Non-statistical Stochastic Finite Element Method Employing Higher Order Stochastic Field Function (고차의 추계장 함수와 이를 이용한 비통계학적 추계론적 유한요소해석)

  • In this paper, a stochastic field that is compatible with Monte Carlo simulation is suggested for an expansion-based stochastic analysis scheme of weighted integral method. Through investigation on the way of affection of stochastic field function on the displacement vector in the series expansion scheme, it is noticed that the stochastic field adopted in the weighted integral method is not compatible with that appears in the Monte Carlo simulation. As generally recognized in the field of stochastic mechanics, the response variability is not a linear function of the coefficient of variation of stochastic field but a nonlinear function with increasing variability as the intensity of uncertainty is increased. Employing the stochastic field suggested in this study, the response variability evaluated by means of the weighted integral scheme is reproduced with high precision even for uncertain fields with moderately large coefficient of variation. Besides, despite the fact that only the first-order expansion is employed, an outstanding agreement between the results of expansion-based weighted integral method and Monte Carlo simulation is achieved.

Evaluation of Nonlinear Response for Moment Resisting Reinforced Concrete Frames Based on Equivalent SDOF System (등가 1 자유도계에 의한 철근콘크리트 모멘트 골조구조의 비선형 지진응답 평가법의 검토)

  • To evaluate the seismic performance of multistory building structures use an equivalent SDOF model to represent the resistance of the structure to deformation as it respond in its predominant mode. This paper presents a method of converting a MDOF system into an equivalent SDOF model. The principal objective of this investigation is to evaluate appropriateness of converting method through perform nonlinear time history analysis of a multistory building structures and an equivalent SDOF model. The hysteresis rules to be used an equivalent SDOF model is obtained from the pushover analysis. Comparing the peak inelastic response of a moment resisting reinforced concrete frames and an equivalent SDOF model, the adequacy and the validity of the converting method is verified. The conclusion of this study is following; A method of converting a MDOF system into an equivalent SDOF model through the nonlinear time history response analysis is valid. The representative lateral displacement of a moment resisting reinforced concrete frames is close to the height of the first modal participation vector \ulcorner$_1{\beta}$${_1{\mu}}=1$. It can be found that the hysteresis rule of an equivalent SDOF model have influence on the time history response. Therefore, it necessary for selecting hysteresis rules to consider hysteresis characteristics of a moment resisting reinforced concrete frames.

  • Purpose : Cyber-Knife tumor tracking system, based on the correlation relationship between the position of a tumor which moves in response to the real time respiratory cycle signal and respiration was obtained by the LED marker attached to the outside of the patient, the location of the tumor to predict in advance, the movement of the tumor in synchronization with the therapeutic device to track real-time tumor, is a system for treating. The purpose of this study, in the cyber knife tumor tracking radiation therapy, trying to evaluate the accuracy of tumor tracking radiation therapy system due to the change in the form of unpredictable sudden breathing due to cough and sleep. Materials and Methods : Breathing Log files that were used in the study, based on the Respiratory gating radiotherapy and Cyber-knife tracking radiosurgery breathing Log files of patients who received herein, measured using the Log files in the form of a Sinusoidal pattern and Sudden change pattern. it has been reconstituted as possible. Enter the reconstructed respiratory Log file cyber knife dynamic chest Phantom, so that it is possible to implement a motion due to respiration, add manufacturing the driving apparatus of the existing dynamic chest Phantom, Phantom the form of respiration we have developed a program that can be applied to. Movement of the phantom inside the target (Ball cube target) was driven by the displacement of three sizes of according to the size of the respiratory vertical (Superior-Inferior) direction to the 5 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm. If the correlation error can be defined by the length of the displacement vector in the target track is a sinusoidal breathing mode, the size of the target of the movement in response to 5 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm, respective average $0.84{\pm}0.01mm$, $0.70{\pm}0.13mm$, with $1.63{\pm}0.10mm$, if it is a variant of sudden breathing respective average $0.97{\pm}0.06mm$, $1.44{\pm}0.11mm$, and analyzed with $1.98{\pm}0.10mm$. The larger the correlation error values in both the both the respiratory form, the target error value is large.
