EMTP를 이용한 지중송전케이블의 부분방전 신호 전파특성 분석 (Effects Analysis of Partial Discharge Signal Propagation Characteristics in Underground Transmission Cables Using EMTP)

  • This paper describes propagation characteristics obtained by considering semiconducting screen and cross-bonding in underground transmission cables. The semiconducting screen of power cable has effect on propagation characteristics including attenuation, velocity and surge impedance. However, it is very difficult to apply the semiconduction screen for EMTP model because of the number of conductors limitation. Therefore, CIGRE WG 21-05 proposed advanced insulation structure and analysis technique of simplified approach including inner and outer semiconducting screen. In this paper, the various propagation characteristics analyse using this structure and technique for 154kV XLPE $2000mm^2$ cable. The frequency independent model of EMTP CABLE PARAMETER is used for just pattern analysis of propagation characteristics. For exact data analysis, the frequency dependent model of J-marti is used for EMTP modeling. From these result, various propagation characteristics of 154kV XLPE $2000mm^2$ cable according to semi conducting screen consideration, frequency range, cable length and pulse width are analysed. In addition, in this paper, the effects of cross-bonding are also variously discussed according to cross-bonding methods, direct connection and impedance of lead cable.

Observations of Pulsed Bi-polar Discharges in Saline Solutions with Pin to Plate Electrodes

  • In this study, we have been investigated pin to plate pulsed bi-polar discharges in saline solutions, where bubble generation occurs. We integrate basic I-V-t electrical characteristics with the ICCD shadowgraph images, and finally instant and time averaged I-V waveforms. We observed that the bubble formation phase dynamics is quite different corresponding to the polarity applied to the pin electrode. When the pin electrode is a cathode, the bubble tends to be periodically detached from the pin electrode and the numerous tiny voltage spikes occur related to the electron emission from a pin cathode casing via, we judge from, direct dissociation of water molecules by energetic electrons. On the contrary, the bubble tends to stick to the pin electrode, when the pin electrode is anode; the bubble grows in size throughout the pulse duration. The dynamic electrical characteristics relative to the applied polarity of a pin electrode are presented and discussed by analysis of time averaged I-V waveforms.

  • This paper presents an electronic ballast using a step down converter, a low frequency inverter for high pressure discharge lamp. The proposed ballast is composed of a full-wave rectifier, a step down converter operated as a current source with power regulation and a low frequency inverter with ignition circuit. The ignition circuit generates high voltage pulse of 1${\sim}$2[kV] peak, 130[Hz]. Moreover, it is able to reignite at regular intervals by protective circuit. As experimental results on the test, lamp voltage, current and consumption power are measured 132.5[V], 7.6[A] and 1,005[W], respectively. It was confirmed that the designed ballast operate the lamp with a constant power.

  • PD(Partial Discharge) signal have the range from several kHz to several GHz. External noises don't give any interference to discerning PD signals with high frequency bandwidth between several hundreds MHz to several GHz but, in the range between several decades kHz to several MHz, are big obstacles to prevent from discriminating PD signals. Therefore, selecting appropriate filter to decrease the influence of noise is important problem. PD signals have the characteristics both short duration and non-continuous pulse train. For separating PD signals from External noises, some different filtering methods different from conventional ones are needed and wavelet filtering method was convinced to be suitable filtering method in various investigations. This paper has simulated PD signal and various noises and investigated the influences for the performance of wavelet filter by varying the components relative to designing of wavelet filter and constructed suitable one. For the purpose of convincing the performance of wavelet filter, real PDs were produced in needle to plane electrode structure. This small PD signal was mixed with external noises and filtered with wavelet filter. We have obtained apparent PD signals and noises are well suppressed by wavelet filter.

펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저를 이용한 FTO 식각에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Scribing of FTO using Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser)

  • In material processing, a laser system with optimal laser parameters has been considered to be significant. Especially, the laser scribing technology is thought to be very important for fabricating DSSC(Dye sensitized solar eel!) modules with good quality. Moreover, the $TEM_{00}$ mode laser beam is the most dominant factor to decide the IPCE(Incident photon to current conversion efficiency) characteristics. In order to get the $TEM_{00}$ mode, a pin-hole is inserted within a simple pulsed Nd:YAG laser resonator. And the spatial field distribution is measured by using three size pin-hole diameters of 2.0, 6.0mm respectively. At that moment, each case has the same laser beam energy by adjusting the discharge voltage and pps(pulse per second). From those results, it is known that the pin-hole size of 2.0mm has the perfect $TEM_{00}$ mode. In addition, at the charging voltage of 1000V, 10pps and the feeding speed of 1.11mm/sec, the SEM photo of FTO(Fluorine-doped tin oxide) thin film layers shows the best scribing trace.

보조 전극을 가진 AC-PDP cell구조의 전기 광학적 특성 (Discharge Characteristics of AC-PDP Having Auxiliary Electrodes)

  • 본 논문에서 제안한 ac-PDP(Plasma display panel) 셀구조는 Long gap의 전극 사이에 보조 전극을 삽입한 구조이다. 일반적으로, long gap 구조를 가진 PDP cell은 높은 방전 개시 전압을 가지므로, Long gap 전극 사이에 보조전극을 삽입하여 방전 개시 전압을 낮춤과 동시에 휘도 상승, 소비 전력의 감소효과로 발광효율의 향상을 가져왔다. 제안한 구조의 구동을 위하여 asymmetric mode와 long gap mode라는 2가지 파형을 가지고 실험하였다. 두 파형은 공통적으로 기존의 ADS(Address and Display period Separated)파형을 Y(Scan), Z(Common), A(Address) 전극에 인가하였으며, 보조적극에는 Z(Common) 전극의 파형을 수정한 형태로 인가하였다. Asymmetric mode는 보조전극에 Z(Common) 전극에 인가되는 파형과 같은 형태의 파형을 인가하여 Long gap의 구조를 가지지만 Short gap에서 방전이 가능하도록 설계하였고, long gap mode는 보조전극에 인가되는 Z(Common) 파형 중 sustain pulse를 초기 3개만을 주어 Short gap에서 방전을 개시함과 동시에 priming 입자를 생성하고, 나머지 sustain 구간에서는 floating시켜 이미 생성된 priming 입자를 long gap에서 구동을 가능하도록 하였다.

고전압 임펄스 기술을 활용한 슬러지 가용화 (Solubilization of wasted sludge using high voltage impulse technique)

  • Several disposal processes for waste sludge from wastewater treatment plants such as landfill, ocean dump, incineration, reuse as fuels or fertilizers are practiced. However, ocean dumping is prohibited by international treat. New constructions of landfill sites or incineration facilities are limited by NIMBY and reuse processes are still suffering from low energy yield. Therefore, development of alternative processes for sludge disposal are currently needed. In this study, alternative technique for sludge solubilization using HVI (high voltage impulse) was suggested and verified experimentally. Sludge solubilization was carried out for 90 minutes using HVI discharge with peak voltage of 16 kV and pulse duration for 40 microsecond. About 3~9 % of MLSS and MLVSS concentration were reduced, but the soluble COD, TN, TP of the sludge increased to 372 %, 56 % and 102 % respectively. It indicates that the flocs and/or cells of the sludge were damaged by HVI. These resulted in flocs-disintegration and cells-lysis, which means the internal matters were bursted out of the flocs as well as the cells. Thus, electrical conductivity in bulk solution was increased. All of the results verified that the HVI could be used as an alternative technique for sludge solubilization processes.

북한강 의암호의 수질 변동성에 대한 강우·수문학적 비교분석 (Rainfall and Hydrological Comparative Analysis of Water Quality Variability in Euiam Reservoir, the North-Han River, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 2012년 5월부터 2015년 12월까지 북한강 상류에 위치하는 의암호의 4개 지점에서 시공간적 수질 변동성을 강우 수문인자와 비교 고찰하였다. 조사기간 동안 수온, DO, Conductivity 및 TSS 등 기초 수질요인의 변동은 계절적 영향이 컸다. 특히, 수온성층은 수심이 깊은 댐 부근에서 매년 관찰되었고, 소멸 시기는 8월~10월 사이에 있었다. 질소 계열 영양염의 증가는 유량이 빈약할 때이었고, 인의 증가는 초기 유량 증가와 극심한 가뭄이 지속될 때이었다. Chl-a에 의한 부영양 수준을 초과하는 기간은 2012년, 2014년~2015년에 1~2개월이었으나 2013년에는 4개월 동안 지속되었다. 의암호의 수질 변동성은 댐 중앙부에 상하류로 이어진 하중도와 골재섬의 존재, 도시하천과 하수처리장 방류수 유입이라는 지형적 구조와 오염원의 기반 영향에 대하여, 상류 댐으로부터의 유입량과 의암댐의 방류량 및 방류형태(패턴)에 의한 수위 증감에서 직간접적 관련성과 영향을 찾을 수 있었다. 수질의 시공간적 변이 과정에서 기상(장마, 태풍, 이상강우 및 폭염 더위) 수문(유량과 수위)학적 작용에 기여하는 주요 인자는 펄스, 희석, 역류, 흡수 및 침전 등으로 볼 수 있었다. 의암호의 수질 변동은 매우 역동적이며, 그 영향은 내부 자체뿐만 아니라 발전방류구를 통해 하류 저수지(청평호, 팔당호)에까지 전달될 수 있는 잠재성을 가지고 있다.

Neuroendocrine Control of Gonadotropin Secretion during the Menstrual Cycle

  • Two modalities of gonadotropin secretion, pulsatile gonadotropin and preovulatory gonadotropin surge, have been identified in the mammals. Pulsatile gonadotropin secretion is modulated by the pulsatile pattern of GnRH release and complex ovarian steroid feedback actions. The neural mechansim that regulates the pulsatile release of GnRH in the hypothalamus is called "GnRH pulse generator". Ovarian steroids, estradiol and progesterone, appear to exert thier feedback effects both directly on the pituitary to modulate gonadotropin release and on a hypothalamic site to modulate GnRH release; estradiol primarily affects the amplitude while progesterone decreases the frequency of the pulsatile GnRH. Steroid hormones are known to affect catecholamine transmission in brain. MBH-POA is richly innervated by NE systems and close apposition of NE terminals and GnRH cell bodies occurs in the MBH as well as in the POA. NE normally facilitates pulsatile LH release by acting through ${\alpha}-receptor$ mechanism. However, precise nature of facilitative role of NE transmission in maintaining pulsatile LH has not been clearly understood. Close apposition of DA and GnRH terminals in ME might permit DA to influence GnRH release. Action of DA transmission probably is mediated by axo-axonic contacts between GnRH and DA fibers in the ME. Dopamine transmission does not normally regulate pulsatile LH release, but under certain conditions, increased DA transmission inhibit LH pulse. Endogenous opioid acts to suppress the secretion of GnRH into hypophysial portal circulation, thereby inhibiting gonadotropin secretion. However, an interaction between endogenenous opioid peptides and gonadotropin release is a complex one which involves ovarian hormones as well. LH secretion appears to be most suppressed by endogenenous opioids during the luteal phase, at a time of elevated progesterone secretion. The arcuate nucleus contains not only cell bodies for GnRH and ${\beta}-endorphin$ but also a dense aborization of fibers suggesting that GnRH release is changed by the interactions between GnRH and ${\beta}-endorphin$ cell bodies within the arcuate nucleus. The frequency and amplitude of pulsatile LH release seem to be increased during the preovulatory gonadotropin surge. Estradiol exerts positive feedback action on the hypothalamo-pituitary axis to trigger preovulatory LH surge. GnRH is also crucial hormonal stimulus for preovulatory LH surge. It is unlikely, however, that increased secretion of GnRH during the preovulatory gonadotropin surge represents an obligatory neural signal for generation of the LH discharge in primates including human. Modulation of preovulatory LH surge by catecholamines has been studied almost exclusively in rats. NE and E may be involved in distinct way to accumulate GnRH in the MBH and its release into the hypophysial portal system during the critical period for LH surge on proestrus in rats. However, the mechanisms whereby augmented adrenergic transmission may facilitate the formation and accumulation of GnRH in the ME-ARC nerve terminals before the LH surge have not been clearly understood.

포아송 클러스터 강우 생성 모형을 이용한 도시 홍수 해석 (Application of the Poisson Cluster Rainfall Generation Model to the Urban Flood Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 포아송 클러스터 강우생성모형의 일종인 Modified Bartlett-Lewis Rectangular Pulse (MBLRP) 강우생성 모형의 도시홍수 모의에 있어 적용성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 서울 홍제천 유역의 남가좌 배수분구에 대하여 2차원 관망-지표면 홍수 모의프로그램인 XP-SWMM 모형을 구축하고, MBLRP 모형을 사용하여 생성된 200년 길이의 가상 강우 시계열을 입력 강우자료로 하여 홍수량, 침수면적을 산정하고 이를 설계 강우에 근거하여 산출된 값들과 비교하였다. 비교 결과, MBLRP 모형을 사용하여 산출된 홍수량 및 침수면적은 설계 강우에 근거한 값들과 비교하였을 때 다소 작은 값을 가졌고, 과소산 정의 정도는 8% (5년빈도)에서 34% (200년빈도)의 값을 가졌으며, 설계 강우의 재현기간에 따라 과소 산정의 정도는 증가하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 도시유역에서의 홍수 모의에 있어 몬테카를로 분석을 통한 침수관련 변수들의 불확실성을 정량적으로 표현할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하고 그 적용성 및 한계점을 제시했다는 점에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있을 것이다.
