수은정유기 아아크관경크기에 대한 정량적 고찰

  • The deionization behavior in plasma during arc discharge of mercury arc rectifier depends on ambipolar diffusion. It is shown here in the quantitative analysis that a diameter of arc path which affects the mercury arc rectifier characteristics is related with the density of charged particles in plasma, the particle number of extruguish ion, the deionizing time and the recovering time of grid controlled ability. The conclusion would he useful for designing a diameter of arc path of mercury arc rectifier by quantitative method. And it could be applied to the designing of electrical apparatus using arc discharge phenomena.

  • Determination of effective EDM parameters is significant to increase productivity. However, With the complexity of EDM phenomena, a universal selection method of EDM parameters has not been established yet. Moreover, No attempt has been tried before to suggest a logical method in determining essential machining parameters for effective electrical discharge machining. Peak current, one of the most significant factors in EDM, is proportional to EDM area. This paper presents a method that can be Z-map modeling from CMM data, and calculate EDM area using Z-map.

  • Serious troubles may occur in electromagnetic equipments due to electrostatic discharge (ESD). The number of the damaging incidents are significantly increasing with the increased use of integrated semiconductor elements with loer operation pwoer. In order to examine the phenomena theoretically, this paper anlyzes properties of the transient electromagnetic fields rdiated by ESD. A new model is presented using the Rompe-weizel formula for the spark resistance. The numerical results of ESD fields are compared with the experimental data that were given by wilson-Ma.

  • The relations between tidal fluctuation and freshwater discharge are stuied dy use of observed data in the estuarine region of the Nagdong Rivre. Damping modulus which represents the resistance to propagation of tidal wave is estimated, and it is verified that when the fresh water discharge is lower than 300 m/sec., the elevation of mean-water-level at Gupo is the same as mean sea-water-level.

  • This paper presents the surface discharge characteristics in Dry-Air on laminated epoxy solid dielectrics and conductive particles in order to provide the valuable information for the insulation design of eco- friendly gas insulated switchgear. To improve insulation performance, the three types of the laminated epoxy solid dielectrics were proposed, and it was revealed that their surface discharge characteristics were similar to the bakelite dielectrics of same-laminated types. From the surface discharge characteristics of dry air, it was demonstrated that the effect of conductive particles on surface discharge voltage was dominant when there are this particles at the shortest electrode gap and that the degradation of insulation performance on the conductive particles was evident in epoxy than teflon. These phenomena were interpreted in terms of particle-triggered discharge mechanism and electric field of triple junction, respectively.

  • In this paper, the effect of magnetic field on corona discharge phenomena was experimentally investigated in the needle-plate electrode geometry. Needle-plate geometry discharge system with magnetic field at a right angle to the electric field was made. The corona discharge characteristics with magnetic field were investigated and compared with the corona characteristics without magnetic field in atmospheric pressure. As a result, in case of positive DC corona discharge with magnetic field, corona discharge zone was significantly wider, corona current was lower, and breakdown voltage was higher than those without magnetic field. However, in case of negative DC corona discharge with magnetic field, corona current was slightly higher and breakdown voltage was lower than those without magnetic field. It is thought that this result is due to cyclotron motion of charged particles such as electron and ion by magnetic field.

  • High voltage induction motors are widely used in industrial factory because have many benefits. But the insulated materials of induction motor are aged by using time, electrical, thermal, circumstantial stresses and so on. Motor failures are occurred by these deterioration phenomena and give rise economic problems to user. In many motor failures, insulated material problems of stator winding happen frequently and occupy high percentages in the failure source. In this paper, the testing specimen(motorette) is manufactured by modeling of stator winding of high voltage induction motor and accelerating test is carried out. Partial discharge signals detected by RF sensor are used to analyze deterioration condition of stator windings. According to aging time, the 3D ( ${\Phi}$-Q-N) distribution and skewness of partial discharge signals are changed.

  • Internal voids in insulators give rise to partial discharge, which causes a local breakdown and even entire insulation breakdown. Recently, the necessity of establishing the way to diagnose the aging of insulation materials and to predict of insulation breakdown become important. The purpose of our work are to investigate the treeing phenomena with an artificial needle shaped void by the charge of discharge and acoustic emission pulse in each phase angle area at the same time. We analyzed the .PHI.-QA-t pattern and .PHI.-AEA-t pattern using statistic operators such as pulse magnitude, pulse number, skewness, kurtosis. Therefore, the relation between the charge of discharge and acoustic emission pulse will be helpful to predict the breakdown just before the breakdown occur.

  • In the wire cut electrical discharge machining, the optimal machining parameters setting satisfying the requirements of both high efficiency and good quality is very difficult because its process involves a series of complex physical phenomena and the machining parameters are numerous over diverse range. In this paper, the experimental investigation has been performed to find out the influence of the machining parameters on the machining performance such as cutting speed and surface roughness. The selected experimental parameters are no load voltage, discharge peak current and pulse-off time. The experimental results give the guideline for selecting suitable machining parameters.

  • Gas insulated switchgear(GIS) is an important equipment in a substation. It is highly desirable to measure a partial discharge(PD) in GIS which is a symptom before insulation breakdown occurs. The issue is that the PD signal is weak and sensitive to external noise. In this paper, the algorithm for detection of PD in GIS using wavelet transform is proposed. The wavelet transform provides a direct quantitative measure of spectral content, "dynamic spectrum", in the time-frequency domain. The recommended mother wavelet is 'Daubechies' wavelet. 'db4', the most commonly applied mother wavelet in the power quality analysis, can be used most properly in disturbance phenomena which occurs rapidly for a short time. Through the procedure of wavelet transform, noise extraction and reconstruction, the signal is Analyzed to determine the magnitude of PD in GIS. In experimental results, we can know that partial discharge is exactly detected in combination of Dl and D2 using wavelet transform.transform.
