비소성 황토 결합재를 혼합한 콘크리트의 강도 발현 평가를 위한 초음파 속도법의 검토 (A Study on Evaluating the Compressive Strength Development of Concrete Mixed with Non-sintered Hwangto Admixture by an Ultrasonic Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 시멘트 대체 재료로서 비소성 황토(NHT)를 혼합한 콘크리트의 역학적 특성을 평가하였으며, 초음파 속도 분석을 통한 콘크리트의 강도 예측식을 제안하였다. 혼합된 NHT의 시멘트 치환율을 0, 15 및 30%로 설정하였으며, 시멘트 및 NHT의 분체량에 대한 영향을 평가하기 위해 목표 강도를 30 및 45MPa로 설정하였다. 평가한 항목은 압축 강도, 초음파 속도 및 탄성계수로 설정하였으며, 재령 1, 3, 7 및 28일마다 설정한 항목을 측정하였다. 실험 결과, NHT 치환율이 증가함에 따라 역학적 특성은 감소하는 경향을 보였으며. 또한, 압축 강도와 초음파 속도의 상관관계 분석 결과 상관계수(R2)는 NHT를 혼합한 콘크리트의 경우 약 0.95로 높은 관계성을 보였다.

경사식 방파제 상부구조물 작용 수평파력 산정식 비교 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Comparing Formulae for Estimating Horizontal Wave Force on Crown Wall of Sloping Breakwater)

  • This study investigated the applicability of four empirical equations (Morihira et al., 1967; Goda, 2010; Jensen, 1984 and Bradbury et al., 1988; Pedersen, 1996) suggested for estimating the horizontal wave force on the crown wall of sloping breakwaters. For the two exemplary cross sections of the breakwaters whose geometry are apparently different each other, the estimates of horizontal wave force calculated by the four equations were compared. The values of estimated wave force showed considerable discrepancy among the equations for each of the two exemplary breakwater cross sections, respectively. In addition, the relative magnitude of the wave force was quite different according to the breakwater geometry as well as the design wave condition. In general, Morihira's or Goda's formulae produced larger estimates of the horizontal wave force than Jensen/Bradbury's or Pedersen's formulae if the wave period (or wavelength) is comparatively short. In contrast, exactly opposite result was obtained when the wave period or wavelength is comparatively long. Further detailed study based on physical experiments is required to examine the applicability of the four empirical equations considered in this study more thoroughly.

  • 최근 대규모 및 초고층 복합 건물 화재에서 실시간 현장상황 파악 및 신속한 인명 구조와 구조대원의 안전한 생명 보장을 위하여 유비쿼터스 기반 첨단 방재시스템의 필요성이 증대되었다. 본 논문에서 초고층 건물 화재의 특성과 위험성을 분석하고 단순성과 확장성을 제공하는 효율적인 메쉬 라우팅을 이용한 피난유도 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 우리의 연구는 센서네트워크를 구축하여 초고층 건물의 화재 및 재난 발생시 실시간으로 화재 및 생존자 위치정보와 화재상황 정보를 감지하고 유도등과 연계한 메쉬 라우팅 알고리즘 기법을 이용하여 신속하고 안전한 피난경로를 제시한다.

  • In this study, I analyzed problems of safety management system of hazardous substances and proposed improvement measures. By statistics of Korea National Fire Agency it shows that hazardous substances of not less than a designated quantity were 2,180 factorys, 24,732 handling places and 85,218 storing places in 2018. also It has been conformed that Fire accidents break out year after year in factory, etc. so In this study, I analyzed the safety controllers of hazardous substances of the present law and fire statistics. therefore I has been found out the problems that the first, safety controllers' status. the second, There is no laws related design, installation, installation supervision. the third, fire safety inspection. This study will be used a basic data for preventing of extensive hazazardous substances-related accident that is very difficult handling.

Improving performance of soil stabilizer by scientific combining of industrial wastes

  • In this paper, based on understanding the design theories on soil stabilization, a series of soil stabilizers were prepared with different kinds of industrial wastes such as calcined coal gangue (CCG), blast furnace slag (SS), steel slag (SL), carbide slag (CS), waste alkali liquor (JY), and phosphogypsum (PG). The results indicated that when the Portland cement (PC) proportion was lower than 20% in the stabilizer, for the soil sample selected from Wuhan (WT) and Beijing (BT), the unconfined compress strength (UCS) of the stabilized soil specimens could increase 4.8 times and 5.4 times respectively than that of the specimens stabilized only by PC; compared with the UCS of the specimen stabilized only by PC, the UCS of the specimen which was made from soil sample WT and stabilized by the stabilizer composed only by CCG, CS, and PG increased 1.5 times, and UCS of the specimen which was made from soil sample BT and stabilized by the stabilizer composed only by SS, JY, and PG increased 4.5 times.

Ground-born vibration at multileveled train tunnel crossing

  • In recent railway projects where the railway connects between cities, newly planned tunnels are often located close to, or beneath an existing tunnel. Many claims and petitions have voiced public concern about the vibration and noise resulting from the situation. Vibrations and noises are engineering issues as well as environmental problems, and have become more important as people have become more concerned with their the quality of life. However, it is unlikely that the effects of vibration in situations where trains simultaneously pass a multileveled tunnel crossing have been appropriately considered in the phase of planning and design. This study investigates the superposition characteristic of ground-born vibrations from a multileveled tunnel crossing. The results from model tests and numerical analysis show that the ground-born vibration can be amplified by a maximum of about 30% compared to that resulting from the existing single tunnel. Numerical parametric study has also shown that the vibration amplification effect increases as the ground stiffness, the tunnel depth, and the distance between tunnels decrease.

AHP 기법에 의한 농업용 저수지의 상태평가 기준 설정 (Establishment of Condition Assessment Criteria in Agricultural Reservoirs by AHP)

  • In this study, in order to establish the criteria for evaluation of importance by the type of facility specialized for agricultural reservoirs, an expert group consisting of a total of 167 members who were in management, or specialized in the fields of design, research, and diagnosis were organized, and the importance for facilities was set with application of the AHP technique. The importance of dam body, spillway, and intake structure composing a reservoir were set at 59%, 24%, and 17%, and the importance of dam crest, upstream slope, and downstream slope constituting a dam body was set at 32%, 31%, and 37%, respectively. In addition, the importance of approach channel, regulated channel, chute channel, and stilling basin consisting a spillway was set at 15%, 44%, 26%, and 15%, and the importance of inclined conduit and outlet conduit consisting an intake structure was set at 35% and 65%, respectively. The safety grade of the reservoirs evaluated by applying the newly presented importance values in this study showed the rearrangement of the grades with a change of 11% compared to the previous grades. In this way, the newly established criteria are expected to be utilized as basic data with strategic importance in reservoir safety management and disaster prevention as well as the operation of systems in the future.

소방차량의 안전벨트 설계 및 정책제안 (Design and Policy of Seat Belt for fire Engines)

  • According to the National Fire Agency, there were 61 traffic accidents of Fire engines in 2021. That is an increase of about 80% compared to the previous year. And the number of injuries and deaths increased by more than 300%. According to the survey of this study, less than 25% of firefighters wore seat belts of Fire engines during dispatch, contrary to the rapid increase in injuries and deaths. About the reasons for why firefighters do not wear seat belts, It can be found in aspects that are related to personal consciousness, organizational culture, and firefighting dispatch. The number of dispatches will increase in the future, this is considered to be a serious problem for the stability of the firefighting organization. In this study, a seat belt should be designed newly and proposed to improve the seat belt wearing policy.

방탈출카페의 성능위주설계에 의한 피난안전성 확대 방안 (Measures to Increase Evacuation Safety through Performance-Based Design of Escape Room Cafes)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose measures to increase evacuation safety by calculating the habitable time using a fire and evacuation simulation program for the Room-escape cafe currently in operation, and comparing and analyzing it with the evacuation required time. Assuming a fire due to overheating of electric heaters in use in front of the warehouse, the habitable time was calculated through fire simulation, and the occupant's evacuation time calculated through evacuation simulation according installation of safety facilities, etc. was compared and analyzed with the habitable time. In the case of escape room cafes with safety facilities installed, evacuation safety was satisfied, but in escape room cafes without safety facilities, the evacuation safety was not secure. As a result of analyzing evacuation safety for each scenario based on the ASET analyzed in the fire simulation, it was found that in scenario 1, evacuation safety was secured and everyone successfully evacuated, while in scenario 2, no one succeeded in evacuation. These results can be said to confirm that the installation of safety facilities is very important in business establishments such as escape room cafes, which become enclosed structures when games are started.

고층빌딩 연돌 현상의 영향인자 분석 (Analysis of impact factors affecting on the stack effect in high-rise building)

  • Purpose: Recently, high-rise buildings are popular in korea due to high rate of land usage and cost performance in urban area. However, high-rise building causes several problems such as safety issues, cooling/heating load, stack effect, disaster prevention etc. The stack effect is one of the representative problems. Even though there are many researches on stack effect, there are few studies on design guideline considering local condition. Method: This study focuses on the change of pressure distribution according to the design factors which affects the airflow in high-rise residential buildings by simulation analysis. In this study, city, building floor, stairwell door leakage area, elevator door leakage area and changes of layout were considered ad the design factor. Result: The simulation results indicate that building height and ambient air temperature are significant design factor for stack effect.
