E-books produced in the country provide limited audio service for reading disables. The reason is that those books cannot translate the mathematical expressions and symbols in the context. In this paper, the 'Math Expression Reader' was implemented that can translate the expressions and symbols in the document into Korean speech for those who have reading disabilities. The math to speech generated by this program has been tested to both the public and reading disables and the results of this test has been compared whether they can exactly understand the speech and evaluated the reading rules.

It is considered that the application of advanced composite materials to the prostheses for the disables is important to improve their bio-mechanical performance. Particularly, energy storing foot prosthesis is mostly important to restore gait ability of the disables with low-extremity amputation since it could provide propulsion at terminal stance enhancing the disables ability to walk long distance even run and jump. Therefore, the energy storing spring of Prosthetic foot keel under cyclic bending moment use mainly of high strength glass fiber reinforced plastic. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the stacking sequence effect using the delamination growth rate(dA$_{D}$/dN) of energy storing spring in glass fiber reinforced plastic under cyclic bending moment. The test results indicated that the shape of delamination zone depends on stacking sequence in GFRP laminates. Delamination area(A$_{D}$) turns out that variable types with the contour increased non-linearly toward the damage zones.nes.

The purpose of this study was to identify ways in which to improve assistance of reading culture promotion for reading disables in Busan Metropolitan City. The research conducted a survey on reading culture promotion works which were conducted through related public institutions, private organizations and facilities for disadvantaged class, including public libraries. This study analyzed the situations in Busan. The Results indicated promotional strategies are needed in reading culture for the handicapped. This study suggest ways in which to improve assistance through analytical research which are models of mutual cooperation for reading culture promotion in Busan.

The purposes of this survey are to investigate which inventory are used to assess the disables children, to give information and basic data for developing new inventory for disabled children. 1. 8 institutes (40 %) have no test or evaluate tools. 2. Number of tools of rehabilitation institutes have more than hospital. 3. 86.8% of tools are made in United States. 4. 52.2 % of tools do not test validity and reliability 5. 43.5% of tools are tested for gross and fine motor functions. 6. The interval of reassesstment are very irregulary(43.5 %). So, We suggest that Korean physical therapist should be made tools which is tested motor, perception and cognition with validity and relability for CNS dysfuntion patients.

The Halliwick concept was developed by James McMillan over 50 years ago, and began as a method for teaching swimming to children with physical disables. After that the Halliwcik concept was developed as a specific strategy(called the Ten-Point Program) for teaching swimming to children with disabilities. Soon after the changes in the physical and emotional behavior were attributed to a unique teaching/learning philosophy and a psycho-sensory-motor learning program that is enhanced by hydrodynamics. Recognizing the therapeutic effects of the Ten-Pont Program adapted the program as a therapeutic intervention called Water Specific Therapy or the Logic Approach to Therapy in Water.

Engine immobilizer is the automobile security system which disables the engine if the secrete code in the transponder embedded in the key knob is not in agreement with the code in ECU of the car. There are many types of immobilizer systems, however, the encryption transponder type system is the most secure system due to the code verification method using an encryption method. As an example of the industry-university cooperation, the software development in the system is introduced in this paper.

Digital talking books have been developed to enhance reading experiences for reading-disabled people. In the existing digital talking books, however, it is difficult to read special contents such as math expressions, images, etc. In this paper, we define reading rules for Contents MathML. Based on this rules, we implemented a program for reading the mathematical contents of Contents MathML, using XSLT. We conducted a confirm test to prove the accuracy of the program, and an usability test to measure understanding of reading text of math expressions.
