로봇의 지능형 손을 위한 3축 손가락 힘센서 개발 (Development of 3-axis finger force sensor for an intelligent robot's hand)

  • This paper describes the development of a 3-axis finger force sensor to grasp an unknown object safely in an intelligent robot's hand. In order to safely grasp an unknown object, robot's hand should measure the weight of an object and the force of grasping direction simultaneous. But, in the published papers, the grippers and hands equippd with the force sensor that could only measure the force of grasping direction, and grasped objects using their sensors. These grippers and hands can't safely grasp unknown objects, because they can't measure the weight of it. Thus, it is necessary to develop 3-axis force sensor that can measure the weight of an object and the force of grasping direction for an intelligent gripper. In this paper, 3-axis finger force sensor to grasp an unknown object safely in an intelligent robot's hand was developed. In order to fabricate a 3-axis finger force sensor, the sensing elements were modeled using parallel plate beams, and the theoretical analysis was performed to determine the size of sensing elements, then the 3-axis finger force sensor was fabricated. Also, the characteristic test of the developed 3-axis finger force sensor was performed.

  • This paper describes the fundamentals, design, realization and test results of a BPSK(Bi Phase Shift Keying) transceiver for the direction finding proximity fuze sensor for anti-aircrafts or air missiles. The BPSK transceiver for the direction finding fuze sensor has been designed to detect a moving target by Doppler signal processing with the code correlation method and to distinguish direction by comparing received powers of each Doppler signal from adjacent three receiving antennas. The electrical and ESS(Environmental Stress Screening) tests of the BPSK transceiver showed satisfactory results and target detection and direction finding performances proved to be successful through dynamic operation tests by 155 mm gun firing.

3축 가속도 센서를 이용한 위치 검출 알고리즘 (Position Detection Algorithms Using 3-Axial Accelerometer Sensor)

  • In this paper, we consist of three dimensional acceleration sensor as a small-sized sensor module to acquire base technologies that need to estimate exhibition audience' moving distance. and that we developed algorism and device that can calculate acceleration in gravity direction with attaching it to people's body part without regard to three dimensional direction. By making use of the sensor module, we have to process the data that let it quantitatively process possible to measure people's walk and movement by computer system. We normalized sensor output data in the process of change from sensor module to acquisition of data, rectangular coordinates and single scalar acceleration value in gravity direction. Printed out sensor data attaching sensor module to people's body part is used for motion pattern detection after normalization, Motion sensor devised mode change algorism because it print data of other pattern according to attached position of body. For algorism design, we collected data occurring during walking about subject and we also defined occurring problem domain after analyzing the data. We settle defined problem domain and that we simulated the walking number measuring instrument with highly efficient in restricted environment.

소형어선에 있어서 자기 컴퍼스를 이용한 자동항법시스템의 정도 (Precision of Autopilot System using Magnetic Compass in Small Fishing Boat)

  • The efficiency of magnetic compass direction sensor and magnetic compass by the laboratory experiment for the apparatus of generating artificial magnetic force and the onboard experiment on the fishing boat of coastal pot at the outside of Pusan Namhang were investigated. The results showed that the bearing angle of magnetic compass direction sensor was coincided with that of magnetic compass. However, the performance of magnetic compasses was unsuitable under the ISO rule by the characteristic experiment of damping curve. Therefore, the use of autopilot system using magnetic compass direction sensor which is based on the magnetic compass needs the sufficient notice.

  • Because forest fire changes the direction according to the environmental elements, it is difficult to predict the direction of it. Currently, though some researchers have been studied to which predict the forest fire occurrence and the direction of it, using the remote detection technique, it is not enough and efficient. And recently because of the development of the sensor technique, a lot of In-Situ sensors are being developed. These kinds of In-Situ sensor data are used to collect the environmental elements such as temperature, humidity, and the velocity of the wind. Accordingly we need the prediction technique about the environmental elements analysis and the direction of the forest fire, using the In-Situ sensor data. In this paper, as a technique for predicting the direction of the forest fire, we propose the correlation analysis technique about In-Situ sensor data such as temperature, humidity, the velocity of the wind. The proposed technique is based on the clustering method and clusters the In-Situ sensor data. And then it analyzes the correlation of the multivariate correlations among clusters. These kinds of prediction information not only helps to predict the direction of the forest fire, but also finds the solution after predicting the environmental elements of the forest fire. Accordingly, this technique is expected to reduce the damage by the forest fire which occurs frequently these days.

  • 본 논문에서는 풍향 풍속 계측모듈 및 DSP 센서인터페이스 회로 보드를 포함하는 기상계측 시스템을 제안한다. 이 DSP 시스템은 풍향풍속모듈, 대기압센서, 대기 온도 센서의 정보를 받아들이고, 빠르게 처리하여 PC 모니터링 시스템에 전달한다. 특히 풍향 풍속 모듈과 DSP 하드웨어는 직접 설계하여 적용한다. 풍향 풍속 모듈은 바람에 관한 벡터적 정보를 얻기 위해 4개의 박막형 RTD(Resistive Temperature Detectors) 저항센서를 히팅 코일에 의해 일정하게 가열된 원기둥 모양의 지지 표면에 벡터적으로 배치하는 구조를 채택한다. 이 구조를 채택한 계측 모듈은 진동, 습기, 부식 등에 강인하면서 정확한 계측을 가능케 한다. 센서 신호처리 회로는 TI사의 고속 DSP인 TMS320F2812 사용한다. 적용된 풍향 풍속 모듈을 통해 얻어진 데이터와 DSP 인터페이스 회로보드의 빠른 데이터 처리를 통해 저렴한 기상계측시스템을 구성 할 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes the development of robot's finger 3-axis force sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously fur stably grasping an unknown object. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's fingers, they should detect the force of gripping direction and the force of gravity direction, and perform the force control using the detected farces. The 3-axis force sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously should be used for accurately detecting the weight of an unknown object of gravity direction. Thus, in this paper, robot's finger for stably grasping an unknown object is developed. And, the 3-axis farce sensor that detects the Fx, Fy, and Fz simultaneously fur constructing a robot's finger is newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, and is fabricated. Also, it is calibrated, and evaluated.

Decision-Theoretic Approach to Source Direction Finding in Array Sensor Systems

  • A decision-theoretic concept is introduced to investigate whether targets of interest in array sensor systems are present at some steering direction or not. The solutions to this problem are described as a set of simple numbers 0 or 1 corresponding to the direction under consideration. This coded number representation is transplanted in the optimisation technique based on the Hopfield neural network, which may provide a new aspect of determining the direction of arrival (DOA) of sources. To cast the perspectives of the proposed approach and illustrate its effectiveness in source direction finding in array sensor systems, simulation results and related discussions are presented in this paper.

  • This paper describes the development of a small 6-axis force/moment sensor for robot's finger, which measures forces Fx. Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's gripper, and accurately perceive the position of it in the gripper, it should measure the force in the gripping direction, the force in the gravity direction and the moments each direction. and perform the control using the measured forces and moments. Thus, the robot's gripper should be composed of 6-axis force/moment sensor that can measure forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My. Mz simultaneously. In this paper, the small 6-axis force/moment sensor for measuring forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously was newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, designed, and fabricated. The characteristic test of made sensor was performed, and the result shows that interference errors or the developed sensor are less than 3%. Thus, the developed small 6-axis force/moment sensor may be used for robot's gripper.

  • 쿼드로터의 헤딩 방향 감지를 위하여 일반적으로 활용하는 지자기 센서에서는 주변 자기 간섭 및 롤/피치 축 기울기로 인한 오차가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 쿼드로터 헤딩 방향 제어를 위하여 지자기 센서와 자이로 센서의 측정 결과를 융합하는 방위각 측정 방법을 제안한다. 롤/피치 축 방향 회전으로 인하여 발생하는 지자기 센서의 좌표축 변화를 분석하고, 수평 자세 제어를 목적으로 측정된 롤/피치 축 각도를 활용하여 지자기 센서의 기울기 보상을 적용한다. 또한, 요 축 각도 측정에 상보필터를 활용하여 지자기 센서의 요 축 각도와 자이로스코프 센서의 요 축 방향 각속도 데이터를 융합한다. 제안한 방식을 실험에 적용하고 결과를 제시하여 요 축 각도 측정의 타당성 및 효과를 검증한다.
