  • We consider pm-ring with the property such that every prime ideal is contained in only one maximal ideal. Orsatti[4] characterized pm-rings by means of the retraction. Contessa[1] found algebraic condition, by using that direct product of pm-rings is a pm-ring. We show that C(X, H) and C(X, C) are pm-rings and we extend a quasi pm-domain.

  • In this paper, using an idea from the direct method of Hyers and Ulam, we investigate the situations so that the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the functional equation $g(x^2)\;=\;2xg(x)$ is satisfied.

  • For the purpose of digital x-ray imaging, many materials such as $PbI_2$, $HgI_2$, TlBr, CdTe and CdZnTe have been under development for servaral years as direct converter layer. $Hgl_2$ film detector have recently been shown as one of the most promising semiconductor materials to be used as direct converters in x-ray digital radiography. This paper, the $HgI_2$ films are deposited on conductive-coated glass by screen printing, in which $HgI_2$ powder is embedded in a binder and solvent, and the slurry is used to coat the conductive-coated glass. We investigated electrical characteristic of the fabricated $HgI_2$ films. The x-ray response to radiological x-ray generator of 70Kvp using the current integration mode will be reported for screen printing films. These results indicate that $HgI_2$ detectors have high potential as new digital x-ray imaging devices for radiography.

  • This report summarizes our recent efforts to produce large-grained CIGS materials from porous nanoparticle thin films. In our approach, a $Cu_xSe$ nanoparticle colloid were first prepared by reacting a mixture of CuI in pyridine with $Na_2Se$ in methanol at reduced temperature. purified colloid was sprayed onto heated molybdenum-coated sodalime glass substrates to form thin film. After thermal processing of the thin film under a selenium ambient. $Cu_xSe$ colloid and thin film were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction. The optical(direct) band gap energy of $Cu_xSe$ thin films is 1.5 eV.

  • Digital X-ray image detector has been applied for medical and industrial fields. Photoconductors have been used to convert the X-ray energy to electrical signal on the direct digital X-ray image detector and amorphous selenium (a-Se) has been used as a photoconductor, normally. In this work, we use 2-dimensional device (2-D) simulator to study about physical phenomena in the a-Se, when we irradiate electromagnetic radiation (${\lambda}=486nm$) on the a-Se surface. We evaluate the electron-hole generation rate, electron-hole recombination rate, and electron/hole distribution in the a-Se using 2-D simulator. This simulator divides the device into triangle and calculates using interpolation method. This simulation method has been proposed for the first time and we expect that it will be applied for the development of digital X-ray image detector.

  • In this study we investigated the regeneration methods for the lean $NO_x$ trap (LNT) catalyst in a 2.2L direct injection diesel engine. The regeneration methods were 1) in-cylinder post fuel injection and 2) external fuel injection strategy. The in-cylinder post fuel injection method uses in-cylinder injectors with the addition of the post fuel injection to supply enough reductants such as CO, $H_2$, THC. The external fuel injection method was enabled by installing a fuel injector with a wide spray angle before the LNT catalyst. Through the engine experiment, the $NO_x$ conversion efficiency, the amount of reductant exhaust gases, fuel consumption, and temperature behavior in the LNT catalyst were evaluated and compared for the two regeneration methods.

A Study on Dose and Image Quality according to X-ray Photon Detection Method in Digital Radiography System (Digital Radiography System에서 X선 광자 검출 방식에 따른 선량 및 화질 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose is a comparative evaluation in the DR System according to the dosimetry and image quality of the quantitative and objective via Direct digital radiography, Indirect digital radiography, Image intensifier (Charge Coupled Device type) digital radiography. The experimental method used rando phantom and measured the entrance surface dose. And through using the measured entrance surface dose and then using the PCXMC program were evaluated risk due to irradiation and the effective dose. SNR and NPS and CNR were measured and analyzed by using 21cm acryl phantom. Significance of measured value was evaluated by statistics method. Entrance surface dose, major organ dose, effective dose all of them were measured the lowest rated in direct DR when it is on the basis of direct DR dose, high-dose ratio were measured in I.I DR approximately 1.3 times, indirect DR approximately 2.4 times. Risk in accordance with radiation also was measured same as dose ratio. On the conclusion that SNR measurement result based on direct DR SNR measurements, low-SNR ratio were measured in I.I DR approximately 7.25 times, indirect DR approximately 1.48 times. On the conclusion that CNR measurement result based on direct DR CNR measurements, high-dose ratio were measured in I.I type DR approximately 1.16 tims and low-dose ratio were measured in indirect DR approximately 0.87 times. Therefore Direct DR system using a-selenium sensing element to detect x-ray photon is thought effectively at the examination such as infant to sensitive irradiation and the genital gland. Because quality image is built by low dose. Also when it is necessary that image test requiring many diagnosis information, indirect DR system is thought effectively.

  • The trend of Digital x-ray Detector research is to improve resolution of image and to embody large area imaging as well as dynamic moving imaging, etc. This research is divided with indirect conversion method and direct conversion method by radiation conversion process. Each conversion method has problems such as decrease of resolution from light scattering in indirect method case and not only low system stability but also difficult in dynamic moving imaging in direct method case. X-ray detector using liquid crystal has been researching to solve these problems, but it is difficulty in uniform injection of liquid crystal because of its structural properties. Therefore, this study suggests the structure which solves present problem. Also the possibility of suggested structure was investigated using simulation.

  • Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the orthogonally additive-quartic functional equation (0.1) $f(2x+y)+f(2x-y)=4f(x+y)+4f(x-y)+10f(x)+14f(-x)-3f(y)-3f(-y)$ for all $x$, $y$ with $x{\perp}y$, in non-Archimedean Banach spaces. Here ${\perp}$ is the orthogonality in the sense of R$\ddot{a}$tz.

STRONG τ-MONOLITHICITY AND FRECHET-URYSOHN PROPERTIES ON Cp(X)

  • In this paper, we show that: (1) every strongly ${\omega}$-monolithic space X with countable fan-tightness is Fr$\'{e}$chet-Urysohn; (2) a direct proof of that X is Lindel$\"{o}$f when $C_p$(X) is Fr$\'{e}$chet-Urysohn; and (3) X is Lindel$\"{o}$f when X is paraLindel$\"{o}$f and $C_p$(X) is AP. (3) is a generalization of the result of [8]. And we give two questions related to Fr$\'{e}$chet-Urysohn and AP properties on $C_p$(X).
