라텍스 개질 콘크리트의 부착강도 특성 (Bond Strength Properties of Latex Modified Concrete)

  • 신.구 콘크리트 부착계면의 부착강도는 신 콘크리트에 라텍스를 이용하여 개선할 수 있다. 그러나, 현재까지 신.구 콘크리트 사이의 부착강도를 측정하기 위해 표준으로 채택되어진 실험은 아직 없다. 일축인장시험에서, 신.구 콘크리트 계면의 부착강도는 시험체의 파단 시 인장에 의해 실제적으로 구해진다. 본 연구에서 새로이 제시한 직접인장 부착강도 실험으로 라텍스 개질 콘크리트의 부착특성을 평가하고자 하였다. 새로이 제시되는 직접인발 부착강도 실험을 위하여 현장과 같은 조건의 슬래브를 제작하여 pull-out 실험을 실시하였으며, 기존의 시편을 이용한 직접인장 실험 시편을 제작하여 본 연구에서 사용하였다. 실험결과는 다음과 같다: 라텍스 혼입율 증가에 따라 부착강도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 라텍스에 의한 부착력증진을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 기존 콘크리트의 표면처리에 따른 라텍스 개질 콘크리트의 부착특성을 평가한 결과, 표면처리에 따라 라텍스 개질 콘크리트의 부착강도가 개선되는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 콘크리트의 표면함수상태에 따른 라텍스 개질 콘크리트의 부착특성을 평가하기 위해서 다양한 표면함수상태에서 부착강도를 평가한 결과, 표면건조포화상태가 가장 이상적인 조건임을 알 수 있었다.

청소년의 인터넷 중독현상과 자기통제기대의 구조적 경로모형에 관한 연구 (The Structural Path Model of Adolescents′ Internet Addiction and Expected Self-Control)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the roles of expected self-control and expected self-control results in explaining adolescents' Internet addiction. In the study model, expectations of self-control and self-control results directly determine Internet addiction and Internet use time meditates the impacts of expectations of self-control and self-control results on Internet addiction. The study subjects are 1,080 middle and high school students in Busan. Stratified cluster sampling is applied by school type and school year. The response rate is 96%(l,037cases). This study develops the scales of expected self-control and expected self-control results. The scales of Internet addiction are devised by using the concept of functional dependency such as salience, withdrawal symptoms, mood modification, tolerance, relapse, and conflict. For verifying the study model, path analysis and multiple regression models are applied for identifying path significants and evaluating confounding effects of control variables, respectively. Moreover, multi partial F-test is performed for selecting the best regression model. Expected self-control is a significant determinant of Internet addiction and Internet use time that also significantly explains Internet addiction. The total effect of expected self-control towards Internet addiction is -.95. The total effect is comprised with the direct effect (-.71) and the indirect effect(-.24). In this result, the direct effect refers a curative effect since expected self-control directly reduces the level of Internet addiction, and the indirect effect refers a preventive effect because self-control can reduce time of Internet use that is a direct determinant of Internet addiction. In the test of the confounding effects of control variables, there are no confounding effects in the models of multiple regression. It implies a robustness of the study model as regards control variables. In conclusion, improving adolescents' expected self-control can control Internet addiction level. This finding implies that a health promotion program for improving expected self-control can be a cost effective method compared to other approaches.

NaOH 활성화된 탄소나노섬유의 직접 메탄올 연료전지용 연료극 촉매의 담지체로서의 특성 고찰 (Characteristics of NaOH-Activated Carbon Nanofiber as a Support of the Anode Catalyst for Direct Methanol Fuel Cell)

  • NaOH 활성화법을 이용하여 다공성 탄소나노섬유(carbon nanofibers; 이하 CNF)를 온도 범위 700~$900^{\circ}C$에서 합성하였고, 상기 제조된 다공성 CNF를 담지체로 하여 직접메탄올 연료전지의 연료극용 촉매를 제조하고 평가하였다. NaOH 활성화에 의한 CNF 표면 특성의 변화를 비표면적 및 기공 크기 분포 자료를 통하여 조사하였고, 형상 및 구조의 변화를 전자현미경을 통하여 관찰하였다. 활성화 CNF에 담지된 촉매의 활성을 메탄올 산화 특성 및 단위전지를 통하여 평가하였다. 본 활성화 방법에 의한 기공의 형성과 이에 담지된 촉매의 활성과의 관계에 대한 고찰을 하였다.

Novel Switching Table for Direct Torque Controlled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors to Reduce Torque Ripple

  • The Direct Torque Control (DTC) technique for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) is receiving increased attention due to its simplicity and robust dynamic response when compared with other control techniques. The classical switching table based DTC results in large flux and torque ripples in the motors. Several studies have been reported in the literature on classical DTC. However, there are only limited studies that actually discuss or evaluate the classical DTC. This paper proposes, novel switching table / DTC methods for PMSMs to reduce torque ripples. In this paper, two DTC schemes are proposed. The six sector and twelve sector methodology is considered in DTC scheme I and DTC scheme II, respectively. In both DTC schemes a simple modification is made to the classical DTC structure. The two level inverter available in the classical DTC is eliminated by replacing it with a three level Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) inverter. To further improve the performance of the proposed DTC scheme I, the available 27 voltage vectors are allowed to form different groups of voltage vectors such as Large - Zero (LZ), Medium - Zero (MZ) and Small - Zero (SZ), where as in DTC scheme II, all of the voltage vectors are considered to form a switching table. Based on these groups, a novel switching table is proposed. The proposed DTC schemes are comparatively investigated with the classical DTC and existing literatures through theory analysis and computer simulations. The superiority of the proposed DTC method is also confirmed by experimental results. It can be observed that the proposed techniques can significantly reduces the torque ripples and improves the quality of current waveform when compared with traditional and existing methods.

A new quadrilateral 5-node non-conforming membrane element with drilling DOF

  • In this paper, a new quadrilateral 5-node non-conforming membrane element with drilling degrees of freedom is presented. The main advantage of these elements is the relatively small number of integration points to evaluate a stiffness matrix comparing to the existing transition membrane elements (CLM elements). Moreover, the presented elements pass the patch test by virtue of the Direct Modification Method incorporated into the element formulation. The presented 5-node elements are proved to be very efficient when used in the local mesh refinement for the in-plane structures which have stress concentrations. And some numerical studies also show the good performance of the new element developed in this study.

  • 포항공과대학교 풍력특성화대학원에서는 STX Windpower의 풍력발전기 국산화 사업의 일환으로 2MW 직접 구동형 영구자석 동기발전기의 설계를 변경 하였다. 정격 출력 2.3MW급으로 정격 RPM은 16.5, 고정자 내경은 2.1m로 128극을 가지고 있다. 본 설계 발전기는 STX93 모델을 기반으로 하고 있으며, 기존 발전기보다 더 compact하고 더 높은 효율의 발전기로 설계 변경하였다. 본 논문에서는 발전기 물리 설계와 그에 따른 전자기 해석 및 열 분석을 수행하고 손실을 계산한다. 또한, 그 결과와 절차에 대하여 요약하고 기존 발전기와 설계 발전기를 비교 분석한다.

  • Analysis for structures composed of materials containing regularly spaced in-homogeneities is usually executed by using averaged material properties. In order to evaluate the effective properties, a unit cell is defined and loaded somehow, and its response is investigated. The imposed loading, however, should accord to the status of unit cells immersed in the macroscopic structure to secure the accuracy of the properties. In this study, mathematical description for the periodicity of the displacement field is derived and its direct implementation into FE models of unit cell is attempted. Conventional finite element code needs no modification, and only the boundary of unit cell should be constrained in a way that the periodicity is preserved. The proposed method is applicable to skew arrayed in-homogeneity problems. Homogenized in-plane elastic properties are evaluated for a few representative cases and the accuracy is examined.

  • In recent years there has been a steady increase in geoenvironmental engineering projects where geotechnical engineering has been combined with environmental concerns. Many of these projects involve some investigation of contaminant in the ground. There are many techniques such as geophysical, drilling, sampling, and pushing techniques for investigation of contaminated ground. The most rapidly developing site characterization techniques for geoenvironmental purposes Involve direct push technology, that is, penetration tests. In this study, the envi-cone penetrometer system is developed by modification of traditional cone penetration test. The electrical resistivity sensor, pH sensor, thermometer are installed in envi-cone penetrometer system. This envi-cone penetrometer system provides a continuous profile of measurements, and it is rapid, repeatable, reliable and cost effective.

Effects of Proto-oncogene Protein DEK on PCAF Localization

  • The proto-oncogene protein DEK is a nuclear binding phosphoprotein that has been associated with various human diseases including leukemia. Histone acetylation is an important post-translational modification which plays important role in transcriptional regulation. Auto-acetylation of histone acetyltransferase PCAF results in increment of its HAT activity and facilitation of its nuclear localization. In this study, we report that DEK inhibits PCAF auto-acetylation through direct interaction. The C-terminal acidic domains of DEK are responsible for the interaction with PCAF. Using confocal microscopy, we have shown that nuclear localization of PCAF is severely inhibited by DEK. Taken together, our results suggest that DEK may be involved in various cellular signal transduction pathways accommodated by PCAF through the regulation of PCAF auto-acetylation.

Electrical Phase Transition of Poly (4,4'-Aminotriphenylene Hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalimide) by Photogenerated Charged Carrier Injection

  • We show a set-up of poly (4,4'-aminotriphenylene hexafluoroisopropylidenediphthalimide) (6F-TPA PI)/Al sample in which holes are injected by photoelectron emission process instead of direct charge carrier injection via metal electrode. In this process, an irreversible electrical phase transition of 6F-TPA PI is found in contrast to the Al/6F-TPA PI/Al structure, leading to a write-once-readmany behavior. The photoelectron spectroscopy results measured before and after the switching process revealed that the irreversible electrical phase transition of 6F-TPA PI is attributed to the chemical modification of the carbonyl group in phthalimide moiety.
