The purposes of this study were to identify the dimensions of advertising evaluation and to examine the influence of advertising evaluation on advertising attitude and buying intension. Also this study categorized the advertising responses. Through the pretest, 15 casual wear brand's advertisements were selected and presented as stimuli. The data was collected from 377 female university students using questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis and multiple regression fer path analysis. The results of This study were as follows. First, 5 factors were identified for the dimensions of advertising evaluation: model/message/product/brand/tone & manner. Second, through the path analysis, advertising evaluation had direct and indirect influences on buying intension. The influences of dimensions of advertising evaluation on buying intension were also examined: model, message and product had indirect influence on buying intension mediated by advertising attitude, whereas product and brand had direct influence on buying intension. Especially, product affected considerably on buying intension. Third, advertising responses were categorized into five dimensions: tone & manner/model/message/product/brand.
The purpose of this study is analyze buying time use and it's influential factors of buying types. The major findings are follows: (1) Physiological time, household work time, earning time & leisure time are respectively similar to The Investigation of Korean Life Time(1991,1995). (2) Buying time of wives who perceived time deficit are shorter than those who did not perceive so. (3) Internet shopping time is 18minutes, direct visiting shopping time is 68minutes and those who directly visit shops pursued leisure effect. (4) Influential factors of internet shopping time are educational level, household work time, earning time & leisure time and direct visiting shopping time are husband's job, household work time, earning tile & leisure time.
In this article the relations between demographics, variables related to credit card, flow and compulsive buying tendency were explored. The survey data collected from 318 university students. The results of regression analysis showed that older students were related to the greater number of card. The greater allowance and number of card were related to the greater average card expenditure per month. Female, younger and the greater average card expenditure per month were related to greater flow. And younger students tended to be more compulsive buying tendency than older students. The greater allowance and flow were related to greater compulsive buying tendency. The results of path analysis showed that the age, allowance and flow influenced on compulsive buying tendency direct. Also age and allowance influenced on compulsive buying tendency direct and indirect.
Purpose: This study focuses on the buying Korean products by Chinese consumers through overseas direct purchase as a distribution means (tool) because they are interested in Korean products because of their excellence. Major variables are national brand, curiosity, price, product quality. Research design, data, and methodology: To make effective analysis, several tools and programs for analysis are used with SPSS Statistics ver. 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Results: National brand, price, product quality have affirmative impacts on satisfaction and repurchase through overseas direct purchase. But curiosity does not have. Among them the most important variable is product quality. This is the same as Chinese consumers think product quality is the most valuable one when buying Korean products through overseas direct purchase. Next one is price. The last one is a national brand. Conclusions: Among the variables of overseas direct purchase, product quality has the biggest impact on satisfaction and repurchase positively. This means that many Chinese consumers are interested in product quality manufactured in Korea. Also Korean product quality is better than that of China until now. Korean companies should, strongly and continuously, have to improve the quality of Korean products because China focuses on product quality in the distribution process in the national base.

Impulse buying has been considered a pervasive and distinctive phenomenon in the modern lifestyle and has been receiving increasing attention from consumer researchers and theorists. In the modern marketplace, spontaneous urges to buy and consume often compete with the practical necessity to delay the immediate gratification that purchasing provides. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize and test the framework of impulse buying behavior for fashion products using structural equation model. Data were obtained from 413 students attending universities during schedules classes in Busan. Analysis of the data, utilizing AMOS 4.1, supported most of the predictions. The results showed that situational variable(time available) and individual variable(fashion involvement) have direct effects on consumers' shopping emotions, including positive and negative emotion. Positive emotions had effects on all types of impulse buying(planned impulse buying, reminded impulse buying, and fashion-oriented impulse buying), while negative emotion affected two types of impulse buying(reminded impulse buying and fashion-oriented impulse buying). These emotional experiences influence impulse buying behaviors for fashion products serving as critical mediators. The findings suggest that time available and fashion involvement are good predictors mediated by shopping emotion to impulse buying behavior for fashion products. The implications of this research for future work on the shopping emotion and impulse buying behavior are discussed.
This study examined the factors affecting allowance management and buying behaviors and their interrelationship. The data were collected from fourth, fifth and sixth grade students of elementary students in Kimhae-city by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequency distributions, Cronbach's Alpha, Pearson's correlation analysis, regression analyses, and path analysis were analyzed by SPSS Windows. According to the regression model for the allowance management behaviors, the significant variables were the child's sex, term of receiving allowances, recognition of the allowance amount before receipt, parents' guidance before using allowances, parent-child communication about consumption, and parents' mediation of mass media. On the other hand, in the regression model for the buying behaviors, the satisfaction of the allowance amount, parents' guidance before using allowances, the amount of watching TV, parent-child communication about consumption, and allowance management behaviors were significant. The path model showed the child's sex, term of receiving allowances, recognition of the allowance amount before receipt, and parents' mediation of mass media indirectly affected the buying behaviors. In addition, the satisfaction of the allowance amount and the amount of watching 1V directly affected the buying behaviors. Moreover, parents' guidance before using allowances and parent-child communication about consumption had a direct effect and an indirect effect through the allowance management behaviors on the buying behaviors. Finally, the allowance management behaviors showed a strong positive effect on the buying behaviors.
Internet-only banks (IOB) refer to financial institutions which provide services entirely through online digital platforms without physical branches. Although IOBs have been around for over 26 years, there is still room for investigating what factors motivate customers to use them continuously and extensively. Therefore, this study aims to examine what factors lead to customers' intention of continued use and cross-buying on IOBs by extending the Post-Acceptance Model of IS Continuance (PAMISC). The result shows that perceived economic benefit and ongoing trust have significant relationships with the intention of continued use and that ongoing trust has significant direct and mediating (via intention of continued use) relationships with the intention of cross-buying. Also, personal innovativeness positively moderates the relationship between ongoing trust and the intention of cross-buying. This study sheds light on the literature on branchless financial services and PAMISC. IOB practitioners should revisit the effectiveness of customers' economic benefits to establish ongoing trust with customers.
In order to identify the antecedents of internet purchasing intention toward fashion items, this study examines shopping-related variables as both direct antecedents of internet purchasing intention, and as indirect antecedents of internet purchasing intention through online-related variables. Impulse buying and market mavenism were considered as shopping-related variables, whilst online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination were considered as online-related variables. It was hypothesized that impulse buying and market mavenism not only directly influence purchasing intention toward fashion items, but also indirectly influence it through online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul using convenience sampling. A total of 286 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. SPSS was used for exploratory factor analysis, and AMOS was used for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis. The factor analysis of market mavenism, impulse buying, and online consumer procrastination revealed one dimension, whilst the factor analysis of online interaction readiness revealed two dimensions: 'online relationship' and 'internet role.' Tests of the hypothesized path proved that impulse buying indirectly influences internet shopping intention only through online consumer procrastination, whereas market mavenism influences internet shopping intention indirectly through both online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination. The results will be useful for Internet shopping mall marketers and for future study.
Purpose: Trust plays an important role in e-commerce because consumers perceive more risk involved with this type of shopping than traditional way of shopping. Trust is defined as complex and multidimensional issue. This paper argues that trust should be considered to have two important components as trust belief and trust intention, in which trust belief has three components as competence, integrity and benevolence. Research design, data and methodology: This study examines the relationship between retailer website quality (web design, navigation, information), reputation and risk toward trust. In addition, trust and risk toward buying behavior are also considered, leading to customer satisfaction. The paper is conducted on a sample of 594 customers with direct experience of online shopping in Vietnam. Both confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and a structural equation model (SEM) were utilised. Results: Empirical findings from this paper indicate that trust is high order construct. Website quality and reputation have positive impacts on customers' trust. Trust has a positive relationship to buying behavior and customers' satisfaction while perceived risk has negative relationship to buying behavior. In contrast, a relationship between perceived risk and trust is not supported in this study. Conclusions: Improving reputation and website quality (especially information) may increase customers' trust and eventually lead to purchase decision.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the general tendencies and casual relations of demographic variables, consumer alienation, materialism and impulse buying among college students. Three hundred and forty one undergraduate students in Daejeon were participated in this study. Factor analysis, Multiple regression and Path analysis were used as statistical analysis. The major findings are as follows: 1. Consumer alienation of college students was divided into 4 types such as Powerlessness, Meaningless, Normlessness, Cultural Estrangement. The overall level of consumer alienation was 3.36. Normlessness(M=3.70) was the highest, and the lowest was powerlessness(M=2.82). Consumer alienation was influenced by gender, age, subjective level of living. Specifically, the lower the age and the subjective level of living were the higher meaningless and powerlessness respectively. And cultural estrangement was higher in male than female. However, normlessness was not affected by demographic variables. 2. The level of materialism of college students was relatively high(M=3.71). The materialism was affected by gender, age, allowance adequacy. 3. The level of impulse buying was higher than middle point(M=3.29). The results of path analysis showed that gender, age, allowance, allowance adequacy, socio-economic status, subjective level of living, powerlessness, materialism influence on impulse buying direct and indirect.
