디지털-피지컬 구조를 이용한 신체 항상성 유지 공간 연구 (A Study on Usage of Integrated Digital-Physical Structure on Physical Homeostasis Space for Stress Reduction)

  • Stress induces change to the body functions and causes chronic problems such as worsening a disease. Thus, humans want to evade anxiety and would try any means to reduce stressful situations. Generally, a person would handle their stress by either regulating their emotions or merely coping with the situation, for which the former is most widely used. Our research aims to effectively reduce stress by using the emotional response structure developed by Plutichik and the vitalization method. We extracted the relevant components of the stress-reduction method that would be applicable in any space using digital technologies such as sensors, IoT, and augmented reality. An architect or designer may incorporate these structural components into any structure to effectively reduce people's stress. The research aims to provide a new perspective of architectural space and to show applications of the stress-reducing architectural spaces, which should also fulfill the people's needs. Further research is needed to develop an automatic system to utilize spatial components more effectively.

  • In the middle of that a information form is being formlessly changed to diverse deirections, a design and a space as physical consequence show not only a allegory but mutually relational charicteristic meaning a nonboundary and nonlinear form by development of modem digital culture. Following development of the modern digital culture, a design and space which are physical results, show a point of correlative specificity, allegory, nonlinear and nonboundary, Not only a design and culture but also various circles handle a hypertext as a representative pivot in this change. this has same contexts as rhizome possessing a asignifiante and nomadic characteristic said by Felix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze. An ideal of rhizome space shows historical decisions, unexpected accidents, a concepts, an individual. a group, social compositions above an contrifugal exterior force, This study examines into surroundings designed by a hypertext and rhizome through a case accordingly and infers an ultramodern characteristic in conventional precognition with synthesizing a peculiarity of the digital generation space.

계측기(計測器)를 이용한 O-Ring Test법(法)의 검증(檢證)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study of Verification Bi-Digital O-Ring Test by gauges)

  • Using Bi-Digital O-Ring Test which was developed by Ohmura Toshiaki, constiution classification by the vegetables' was Measured by various muscle power measurement meters and the results are as follow: 1. Pinch Gauge (Model:pc5030HPG, Japan) is the gauge to measure finger power between the thumb and the second finger, Grip Strength Dynamometer (Model: T.K.K. 5101, Japan) is to measure the hand power (hand dynamometer), Back Strength Dynamometer (Model: T.K.K. 5102, Japan) is to measure back muscle strength, Vertical jump Meter (Model: T.K.K. 5106, Japan) is to measure the height of jump. The above gauges were and its result found that the radish, potato, carrot and cucumber can influence to muscle strength was not true. 2. When the physical constitution is distinguished by the O-Ring Test method, Taeyangin's rate appeared as average 21% although it was insisted that there will be only 0.03-0.1%. This means that the physical constitution but it appears accidently according to the examinee's emotion about the material such as vegetable etc. as favor or unfavor. 3. It was found that the result of O-Ring Test is the same at any time and at any place was not true. there is no reemergence character. 4. The import of O-Ring Test mehtod to the physical discrimination disregarded that the mental factor influences absolutely to the physical heath in the ideological physi cal constitution medical science. 5. 'O-Ring Test method is a objective judgement method.' is wrong judgement. As you see on the above result, Bi-Digital O-Ring Test set the changeable voluntary muscle as the standard of the judgument, that was first mistake logically, second in spite of leass influence of mental influence by the examiner and examinee than the vegetable discrimination influence, the test disregarded the influence. Third, only grasp of some material on hand can influence to the voluntary muscle was a wrong theory disregarding the physiology. Finally the misunderstaning his subjective view as an objective view in spite of examiner and examinee's strong influence. Therefore such kind of physical descrimination method must be sublated.

Restoration of the Broken Lumbopelvic-hip Neuromuscular Chain and Coordinated Synergistic Activation in Low Back Pain

  • Background: The presence of the lumbopelvic-hip neuromuscular chain is essential for dynamic spinal stabilization; its therapeutic effects on dynamic movements of the distal extremity segment and underpinning motor mechanism remain unknown and warrant further study on participants with low back pain (LBP). Objects: We aim to compare the effects of the broken chain exercise (BCE) and connected chain exercise (CCE) on electromyography (EMG) amplitude and onset time in participants with and without LBP. Methods: Randomized controlled clinical trial. A convenience sample of 40 nonathletic participants (mean age: 24.78 ± 1.70) with and without LBP participated in this study. All participants underwent CCE for 30 minutes, 30-minute daily. We measured EMG amplitude and onset times on bilateral erector spinae (ES), gluteus maximus (GM), hamstring (HAM), transverse abdominis (TrA), internal oblique (IO), and external oblique (EO) during the prone hip extension (PHE) test before and after the BCE and CCE. We used multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) to analyze the amplitude and onset time difference between exercises (BCE and CCE) and Pearson's correlations to determine any synergistic relationship among the HAM, GM, bilateral TrA/IO, and ES muscles. The statistical analyses were used at p < 0.05. Results: MANOVA showed that CCE was more decreased on EMG amplitude in HAM and bilateral ES, while increased GM and contralateral TrA/IO than BCE (p < 0.05). MANOVA EMG onset time data analyses revealed that the main effect of the conditions was significant for all HAM, GM, and bilateral ES muscles, whereas the main effect for the group was significant only for GM and contralateral ES in healthy and LBP groups. Pearson's correlation coefficient was computed to assess the relationship between BCE and CCE on dependent variables. In most of the muscles, there was a strong, positive correlation between the two variables, and there was a significant relationship (p < 0.001). Conclusion: CCE produced more effective and coordinated core stabilization and motor control mechanism in the lumbopelvic-hip muscles in participants with and without LBP during PHE than BCE.

디지털 시대에 융복합적인 웰니스를 위한 걷기 운동의 효과 - 신체활동 중심으로 - (Effects of walking exercise for wellness convergence in the digital age - Based on physical activity -)

  • 본 연구는 디지털 시대의 40대 중년여성을 대상으로 첫 번째 중년여성의 2주간 신체활동(보행 수, 칼로리 소모, 신체활동 강도)을 조사하여 정상인과 비만인 간에 차이를 비교하고, 두 번째 정상인과 비만인을 대상으로 계획된 24주간 주당 3회 500kcal 소모를 목표로 하는 규칙적인 걷기 운동을 실시하여 주 3일의 운동일과 주 4일의 비운동일, 그리고 일주일 평균 신체활동(보행 수, 칼로리 소모, 신체활동 강도)에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 규칙적인 걷기 운동 프로그램 적용 2주전 신체활동(보행 수, 칼로리 소모, 운동 강도)에 있어 정상인과 비만인 간에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났고, 융복합적인 웰니스를 위해 인위적으로 설정된 24주간 주당 3회 500kcal 소모를 목표로 하는 규칙적인 걷기 운동 프로그램은 정상 집단에서는 3일의 운동 한 날과 4일의 운동 하지 않는 날, 그리고 일주일 평균 신체활동(보행 수, 칼로리 소모, 운동 강도)에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타난 반면 비만인에서는 부정적인 효과를 보인 운동 강도(level 0)를 제외한 모든 신체활동(보행 수, 칼로리 소모, 운동 강도) 에서 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 Interactive Media Art 기술을 적용한 콘텐츠 를 제작을 중심으로 사용자, 즉 관객은 단순히 스크린에 나타나는 인터렉티브 미디어 퍼포먼스를 관람하는 입장이 아닌 콘텐츠의 일부분으로서 연주자와 관람자가 일체가 되어 콘텐츠의 최종 효과를 완성하여 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 악기 연주에 적용하여 실시간으로 다른 시각프로그램과 효과적이고 적절하게 상호작용하여 최종 시각효과를 보여주는 것이 주된 목적이다.

A Study on the Emotional Evaluation of fabric Color Patterns

  • There are Two new models developed for objective evaluation of fabric color patterns by applying a multiple regression analysis and an adaptive foray-rule-based system. The physical features of fabric color patterns are extracted through digital image processing and the emotional features are collected based on the psychological experiments of Soen[3, 4]. The principle physical features are hue, saturation, intensity and the texture of color patterns. The emotional features arc represented thirteen pairs of adverse adjectives. The multiple regression analyses and the adaptive fuzzy system are used as a tool to analyze the relations between physical and emotional features. As a result, both of the proposed models show competent performance for the approximation and the similar linguistic interpretation to the Soen's psychological experiments.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems in assumption of the distinguished behaviors of hospitalized dementia patients- which can be easily emerged and recognized in senile dementia patients and their distinctive behavior characters in different physical environment per person. Furthermore, it is to suggest a fundamental data to improve physical environment of the different facilities and the design guidelines for reconstruction in terms of the new and therapeutic function of the dementia specialized department. For planning on the dementia specialized hospital, considerablely, security and safety, comfortableness, personal identification of the facility, emotional stability and the proper stimulation for the patients are emphasized according to the research on the frequent and major issues of the patients from their own dwelling place.

  • 본 논문에서는 Physical Modeling을 이용해 단소의 음을 합성해 내는 방법에 대해 연구 하였다. 현재 관 악기의 음 합성 방법은, Julius O. Smith가 제안한 digital waveguide모델을 근간으로 하여 여러 악기들의 소리를 합성하는 방법에 대해 연구 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 digital waveguide모델을 사용하여 단소 관속의 움직임, two-port scattering model을 이용한 관속과 음공 사이의 공기의 움직임에 대해 기술하였고, reflection filter를 사용하여 단소 끝부분에서의 신호의 변화에 대해 연구 하였으며, 끝으로 관 내벽과 공기의 마찰에 의한 신호 손실에 대한 연구를 기술 하였다. 위에서 언급한 내용들의 연구결과를 토대로 음을 합성한 결과 실제 단소의 소리와 유사한 소리를 얻어 낼 수 있었다.
