  • In modern society, many adults seek emotional solace by reconnecting with their childhood memories through "kidult" culture, especially as single-person households increase. This trend spans fashion, collectibles, movies, animations, games, and character merchandise, with Hollywood playing a significant role in its growth during the 1980s and 1990s. Kidult culture allows adults to relieve stress, foster creativity, and strengthen social connections, enhancing their quality of life. As this culture gains mainstream acceptance, companies are producing diverse products featuring beloved characters, appealing to a wide age range. The rise in single-person households has amplified the importance of personal expression and individuality, driving the popularity of kidult culture. Companies are leveraging this trend to create innovative designs that resonate with consumer preferences. This cultural expansion promotes new design forms and aesthetics, reflecting the evolving relationship between design and consumption. • With its technical development, digital printing is being universally introduced to the mass production of clothing factories. At the same time, many fashion platforms have been made for customers' participation using digital printing, and a tool is provided in platforms for customers to make designs. However, there is no sufficient solution in the production stage for automatically converting a customer's design into a file before printing other than designating a square area for the pattern designed by the customer. That is, if 30 different designs come in from customers for one shirt, designers have to do the work of reproducing the design on the clothing pattern in the same location and in the same angle, and this work requires a great deal of manpower. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a technology which can let the customer make the design and, at the same time, reflect it in the clothing pattern. This is defined in relation to the existing clothing pattern with digital printing. This study yields a clothing pattern for digital printing which reflects a customer's design in real time by matching the diagram area where a customer designs on a given clothing model and the area where a standard pattern reflects the customer's actual design information. Designers can substitute the complex mapping operation of programmers with a simple area-matching operation. As there is no limit to clothing designs, the variousfashion design creations of designers and the diverse customizing demands of customers can be satisfied at low cost with high efficiency. This is not restricted to T-shirts or eco-bags but can be applied to all woven wear, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, except knitwear.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution customers living began to come out, not inside the purchase funnel. Due to the diversity of product selection and the increase in digital channels, the way customers search for information and purchase it is changing innovatively. So, the customer journey in the digital age is much more complicated than the traditional funnel model suggests. Unlike many previous studies, this study was conducted for 1,200 customers in four product groups of fashion, automobile, cosmetics, and online shopping malls. As a result of the study, we investigated how digital self-efficacy plays a role in purchasing in a series of processes in which digital experience affects customer satisfaction and finally affects purchase. As a theoretical implication, as a result of introducing and testing digital self efficacy as moderated mediation effect. the digital self-efficacy between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty were determined to play a moderated mediation effect role. As a practical implication, it was necessary to actively utilize digital marketing for customers with high digital self-efficacy, but it was suggested that customers with low digital self-efficacy need to be careful about digital marketing fatigue.

  • In this paper, I present a new echo canceller using the adaptive cascade system identification (CSI) method, which a system response is divided into several responses so that each response is adaptively estimated and combined. Echo cancellation is required for a dual-duplex DSL, in order to allow each individual loop to operate in a full duplex fashion. Echo cancellation was one of the most difficult aspects of DSL design, requiring high linearity and total echo return loss in excess of 70 dB. Especially, for a fickle response, if the response is estimated by an adaptive filter, the filter needs more taps and the performance is decreased. But the response is divided into several responses, the computation complexities are decreased and the performance is increased. For the stage constant n, which represents the number of stages, if the response is not divided (n=1), the computation complexity of multiply is $2N^2$. And if the response is divided into two responses (n=2), the computation complexity of multiply is $2N^2$. Also, if n=3, the computation complexity is ${\frac{2}{3}}N^2$. Therefore, it is known that the computation complexity is decreased as n is increased. Finally, this proposed method is verified through simulation of echo canceller for digital subscriber line (DSL) application.

  • The needs for visualizing interactive multimedia contents on portable devices with realistic three dimensional shapes are increasing as new ubiquitous services are coming into reality. Especially in digital fashion applications with virtual reality technologies for clothes of various forms on different avatars, it is required to provide very high quality visual models over mobile networks. Due to limited network bandwidths and memory spaces of portable devices, it is very difficult to transmit visual data effectively and render realistic appearance of three dimensional images. In this thesis, we propose a compression method to reduce three dimensional data for digital fashion applications. The three dimensional model includes animation of avatar which require very large amounts of data over time. Our proposed method utilizes temporal and spatial coherence of animation data, to reduce the amount. By grouping vertices from three dimensional models, the entire animation is represented by a movement path of a few representative vertices. The existing three dimensional model compression approaches can get benefits from the proposed method by reducing the compression sources through grouping. We expect that the proposed method to be applied not only to three dimensional garment animations but also to generic deformable objects.

  • KakaoTalk has become a reputed mobile social network and an inseparable part of people's lives by leading the mobile industry in South Korea. However, there is a lack of studies in academia regarding perception of the consumers and assessment toward the mobile marketing and services by KakaoTalk. Based on the theoretical orientation of Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM: Petty & Cacioppo, 1986) and electronic service quality (E-S-QUAL: Parasuraman, Zeithaml, & Malhotra, 2005), this study investigates the effects of information sources (Charles & Richard, 1988), and examines the consumer perception toward the service quality of KakaoTalk. A total of 209 responses were collected, using a self-administered survey in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, South Korea from March 2015 to June 2015. A seven-point Likert scale survey was developed to measure the information sources (i.e., argument quality, post popularity, and post attractiveness), electronic service quality (i.e., efficiency, fulfillment, privacy, and system availability), attitude (i.e., usefulness, preference, and overall attitude), and behavioral intention (i.e., like intention, share intention, and purchase intention). This study reveals a consensus that an online environment is different from the traditional retail context in terms of information source and service quality. Specifically, the results indicate that argument quality greatly impacts the attitudes of the individuals and their behavioral intention toward mobile shopping via social media channel. The most powerful factor among E-S-QUAL is "efficiency." This dimension of service quality influences the customer perception of usefulness and preference as well as share and like intention toward mobile shopping on KakaoTalk.

  • Korean embroidery is the long historical industrial arts of real life and has handed down Korean sentiment up to now. Korean traditional embroidered pattern is designed to wish someone's health and luck, who uses the embroidery on the clothes and the goods in real life. Especially, the ten longevity symbols' design is represented as 10 which means perfection in oriental philosophy, the sun, mountain, cloud, water, crane, rock, turtle, pine tree, the elixir of life and deer; these 10 symbols show how ancient Korean believe and wish perpetual youth. However, fiber material used embroidery relic has difficulty in preserving for long period compared to other relic descended from historical events for long time and their preserved state isn't so good owing to have been used directly in the real life. Therefore, it is essentially embossed to preserve the embroidery relic and pattern, and make DB for the data. With preservation of the pictures about the handicraft, it's necessary to preserve embroidery technique and make DB through digital imagination. Through the process, we can apply Korean embroidery image to cul-duct package and digital image related field, and it will be helpful to make the tradition popular. In this study, through the research for the embroidery technique applied pattern on the embroidery relic of ten longevity symbols, we'll establish the cultural identification of Korean embroidery image and then develop a worldwide Korean image.
