Smart Card Based Password Authentication Scheme using Fuzzy Extraction Technology (퍼지추출 기술을 활용한 스마트 카드 기반 패스워드 인증 스킴)

  • Lamport firstly suggested password base authentication scheme and then, similar authentication schemes have been studied. Due to the development of Internet network technology, remote user authentication using smart card has been studied. Li et al. analyzed authentication scheme of Chen et al. and then, Li et al. found out the security weakness of Chen et al.'s scheme such forward secrecy and the wrong password login problem, and proposed an a new smart card based user password authentication scheme. But Liu et al. found out that Li et al.'s scheme still had security problems such an insider attack and man-in-the-middle attack and then Liu et al. proposed an efficient and secure smart card based password authentication scheme. This paper analyzed Liu et al.'s authentication and found out that Liu et al.'s authentication has security weakness such as no perfect forward secrecy, off-line password guessing attack, smart-card loss attack, and no anonymity. And then, this paper proposed security enhanced efficient smart card based password authentication scheme using fuzzy extraction technology.

  • This study is meant to derive what is needed to enhance the convenience and satisfaction of users of mobile credit card applications. For the first step, the current status of simple payment service using application has been identified and in-depth interview by reorganizing Peter Morvile's Honeycomb model into the five usage principle based on the main function of the application card. As a result, it was found that users prefer personalized services that fulfill the purpose and key functions of the app card and take into account their consumption patterns rather than too many additional functions. Based on this study, it is expected that it would help card companies increase their experience with app card users and strengthen their platforms.

  • As wireless network was developed and Capability of Wireless Phone was increased, M-Commerce was activates In Wireless network environment. User Authentication and Security in E-Commerce Environment is very important, so Authentication Technology, such as WPKI and Hermes System, XML Digital Signature in Wire Network is studying. But if authentication systems was implemented heterogeneous, WPKI is difficult to implement the system, it's not interoperate with authentication system on wire internet, not support XML digital Signature. Hermes system also not interoperate with XML digital signature system. So our paper designed System that can interoperate among digital signature systems and XML document to apply XML digital signature technology on wire network to wireless network, and then implemented system that can XML digital signature to use Java Card.

  • In recent, the contactless IC card is widely used in traffic, access control system and so forth. And its use becomes a general tendency more and more because of the development of RF technology and improvement of requirement for user convenience. This paper describes the hardware module to process contactless protocol for implementation contactless IC card. And the hardware module consists of specific digital logic circuits that analyze digital signal from analog circuit and then generate data & status signal for CPU, and that convert the data from CPU into digital signal for analog circuit.

  • For proper communication with various types of IC-Card, multiple IC-Card interface complying with the IC-Card standard (ISO7816) is embedded and realized as a peripheral on the 32-bit RISC based system-on-a-chip. It provides the generation of either 3.3V or 5V power supply for the operation of the inserted IC-Card as well. IC-Card interface is divided into an analog front-end (AFE) and a digital back-end (DBE). The embedded DC-DC converters suitable for driving IC-Cards are incorporated in the AFE. The chip design for multiple IC-Card interface is implemented on a standard 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ triple-metal double-poly CMOS process and is packaged in a 352-pin plastic ball grid array (PBGA). The total gate count is about 400,000, excluding the internal memory. Die area is 7890${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ $\times$ 7890${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

  • Trump cards are used in variable games in households such as poker and blackjack. In many cases, it is able to be helpful to algorithmically identify the playing cards from camera views. In this paper, we provide an approach that detects and identifies the playing card using template matching scheme, and evaluate the results of the provided implementation. For ideal cases, the implemented system provides a 100% success rate for card identification correct. However, non-ideal case of perspective distortion is estimated with 70% success ratio. This work aims to evaluate the effectiveness of augmented reality user interface for an entertainment application like playing card games.

  • It was emphasized that national electronic identification card system should be a prerequisite for the entire administrative services. Furthermore, the government so designed the plan on the assumption of national electronic identification card system that it could manage services for the public, elections, and most of decision-making processes. Nevertheless, national electronic identification card system has drifted for a fairly long time without being institutionalized. On the basis of the policy examples, this study tries to examine the process and discuss on what elements of conflict have been shown. Though it is all water under the bridge, it is thought that, when the new policy emerges in the future, recurrent failures can be reduced by a case study like this.

  • This study developed a digital security device which power is on/off by the RFID card. This device is based on the wireless data transmit/receive circuits, built in RS-232C chip and applied to computer and other digital devices. We can check whether this device is operated or not by connecting the LED. In this system, 13.56MHz frequency circuit supplies power with ID card, and DC inputs check the proximity operating distance of the card field for verifying the existence of a card. The security level of this system is much stronger than that of a compared system[13]. Anyone cannot use the system without RFID card. All illegal access is prevented except for authorized path.

  • With the development of computer technology, augmented reality (Augmented Reality, AR) technology in the future, one of the main directions of development of human interface technology is emerging. On augmented reality based on the design and implementation of a digital business card system. In this paper, a Smartphone is simply information through recognizable digital business card contains information about the system. Digital business card system is compared to the way existing hardware in a way visually-based high precision. In addition, registered as a 3D computer vision of augmented reality technology skills and real-world situations convergence technology for research. Future research, 3D electronic map for Smartphone apps as of the application user interface on the side for research is needed.
