The study on the updating of the database of Geo-Spatial Information System that is necessary condition to GSIS operation have executed actively. In this study, digital orthophotos were produced by using the product of digital photogrammetry process and then multiscale digital orthophoto maps were generated tv the concept of image pyramids. The produced digital orthophoto has 2.092 meters accuracy compared to 1:5,000 topographic map. This digital orthophoto can be implemented in various Geo-Spatial Information System, providing valuable spatial reference for other objects in the database.

After the 'Guidelines for the preservation of digital heritage' were published by UNESCO, interests in the fabrication of digital cultural heritage have been increasing throughout the world. The present study was intended to fabricate digital cultural heritages for existing cultural properties using the reverse engineering technology and obtain two-dimensional drawings. Jinju Castle Gongbukmun, which is a cultural property, was selected as a study subject and 3D modeling of Jinju Castle Gongbukmun was conducted by implementing 3D scanning and processing the point cloud data. Using the Gongbukmun 3D model (3D-Gongbukmun) made as such, requirements as a digital heritage were reviewed and 2D drawings of Gongbukmun such as front views, ground plans, and side views could be prepared.

Digital forensics is the emerging research field for determining digital forgeries. Key issues of the tampered images are to solve the problems for detecting the interpolation factor and the tampered regions. This paper describes a method to detect the interpolation factors and the forged maps using the differential method and fast Fourier transform(FFT) along the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal direction, respectively from digital filtered tampered images. The detection map can be used to find out interpolated regions from the tempered image. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed algorithm proves effective on several filtering images by adobe $Photoshop^{TM}$ and show a ratio of detecting the interpolated regions and factors from digital filtered composite images.

Over the years, many researches have been performed to create 3D digital maps. Nevertheless, it is still time-consuming and involves a high cost because a large part of 3D digital mapping is conducted manually. To compensate this limitation, we propose methodologies to represent 3D objects as 3D symbols and locate these symbols into a base map automatically. First of all, we constructed the 3D symbol library to represent 3D objects as 3D symbols. In the 3D symbol library, the attribute and geometry information are stored, which defines factors related to the types of symbols and related to the shapes respectively. These factors were used to match 3D objects and 3D symbols. For automatic mapping of 3D symbols into a base map, we used predefined parameters such as the size, the height, the rotation angle and the center of gravity of 3D objects which are extracted from Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) data and 2D digital maps. Finally, the 3D map in urban area was constructed and the mapping results were tested using aerial photos as reference data. Through this research, we can identify that the developed the algorithms can be used as effective techniques for 3D digital cartographic techniques

Direct Georeferencing by combined multi-sensor based on the direct measurement of the projection centers and rotation angle of sensor through loading the GPS and INS in aircraft. The method of combined multi-sensor can offer us to acquire the exterior orientation parameters with only minimum GCPs, even the ground control process could be completely skipped. Consequently, It is possible extreme to reduce the time and expense for the mapping process. In this study, a CCD camera is simultaneously used in combined multi-sensor surveying, and acquired CCD image through Direct Georeferencing produce digital orthoimage. In this process, methods of combining sensor and digital orthoimage are examined and estimated. For the comparison of the positioning accuracy digital orthoimage through Direct Georeferencing, GCPs determined by GPS surveying are used. Two digital orthoimage are produced; one with a few GCP and the other without them. The accuracy of orthoimages produced through combined multi-sensor with GCPs meets that of 1:1,000 maps. Without GCPs, it meets that of 1:5,000 maps.

Because urban areas change rapidly, it is necessary to reflect urban changes in a digital map database in a timely manner. To address these issues, LiDAR data was used to detect changes in urban area buildings. The purpose of this study is to detect object-based building change using LiDAR data and existing digital maps, and classify change types. In the study, we classified change type using overlay and shape comparison with building layer of the digital maps and point-based extracted building outline from the LiDAR data. When applying the overlay method, we were able to increase the accuracy and objectivity of the change detection process throughout an adaptive threshold applied to each object. In the experiments, it was demonstrated that classifying and detecting changes in urban areas using the proposed method can provide superior classification accuracy compared with the existing methodology.

This study is aimed to research the precise and efficient method for coordinate transformation. In Korea, it is necessary to convert existing digital maps in TM coordinates to that in KTRF from 2007. In this study, coordinate transformation methods and conversion area are tested and analyzed. In the results of experiment, it shows that Affine method is preciser than Helmert method. But Affine method is have more distortion than Helmert method.

Since National Geographic Information System was started, paper maps have been made with computer aided editing of digital map, instead of etching map-size negative film. Automated paper mapping system's necessity is growing more and more, because digital map has changed into Ver.2.0 which include attributes of feature. Therefore, in this study we try to analyze correlation of the digital map feature code and the 1/5,000 topographic map specifications which is necessary for paper mapping automatization using digital map Ver.2.0, and try to develop fundamental modules which will play a core role in automated paper mapping system.

Information on the energy consumption of buildings that can be obtained through conventional methods is limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop a model that can support decision making about building facility management through digital transformation technologies. Through the IoT sensor, the building's energy data and indoor air quality data are collected, and the monitored data is visualized through the ELK Stack and produced as a dashboard. In addition, the target building is photographed with a 360-degree camera and maps using a tool to create a 360-degree tour. Using such digital transformation technologies, users of buildings can obtain various information in real time without visiting buildings directly. This can lead to changes in actions or actions for building management, supporting facility management decisions, and consequently reducing building energy consumption.

Recently as map making skills developed and as digital maps prevailed, peoples began to take interest in the realistic 3dimension topography rather than the flat 2 dimension one. The experiment is done by using the topographical information from the digital maps, To analyze the preciseness of this 3dimension topography, analysis of the coordinate-changed standard map image and the location errors of the plane and height from digital values of the map's topography by layers and features, were done. The visual results of locational values differed by every programs of coordinate transformation. Errors of locations also appeared from the methods of correcting the visual sources, when deciding the standard source's datum point. The plan's accuracy of the image data coordinate transformation is about ${\pm}4.1m$. In ground distance, therefore, it is included in the allowed error of the 1:25,000 scale changed map, satisfying the plan's accuracy. Also, by the use of reasonably spaced grid, it satisfied the visual topographical accuracy. Because the 3 dimension topographical map can be produced effectively and rapidly by using various scale's standard map image and the digital map, the further practical use of 3 dimension topographic map made by using the existing topographies and changed maps has high expectations.
