This study analyzes factors that determine the usage of digital information by senior consumers in the mobile environment. Senior consumers are alienated from digital information in South Korea; therefore, there have been increasing attempts to resolve this digital divide and reduce the digital information usage gap between young adults and senior consumers. The study used panel data from the National Information Society Agency (2017); there were 1,463 participants, aged 50-79 years. SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct the statistical analyses for frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ analysis, descriptive analysis and hierarchical multiple-regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, negative attitude toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Second, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & Mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Third, negative attitudes toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. Forth, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. The study results can help further understand mobile usage behaviors among senior citizens and the implications on their quality of life in the digital information era.

The amount of digital content grows exponentially by the development of the internet and the change of computing environments and the target also is getting wider. The industry using this digital content has been growing greatly. However, the distribution of pirated digital content is increasing using internet because digital content is easy to store and transmit and the damage is growing. In this paper, we propose safety trading system which can conceal the author's information safely in digital content in order to block illegal distribution of digital content. ARIA encryption algorithm is used to protect the concealed information of author in digital content and it is a help to track the illegal traders by doing fingerprinting of buyer information to digital content and managing the transaction information. The technical support for copyright dispute is to allow by providing the capability to verify illegal edit to original digital contents.

The purpose of this study is to survey various digital library models that form basic concept of the hybrid information services and to suggest the needs of hybrid information services in digital environments as previous stage towards a building of generic information model appropriate to hybrid information environments. This study deals with the change of information service environments and information services of traditional and digital environments, Also addressed are relationships between digital library and information services. Finally. this study suggest the needs of hybrid information services in digital environments and survey various digital library models that form basic concept of the digital library models.

Purpose In this paper, among the four information vulnerable groups(disabled, elderly, low-income, farmers and fishermen), the mediating effect of digital device usage attitudes in the effect of digital information utilization level of farmers and fishermen with a large digital information gap with the general public on life satisfaction was verified. Design/methodology/approach This study summarizes existing research related to the digital information gap between farmers and fishermen, and the empirical analysis is based on hierarchical regression analysis based on the 2022 Digital Information Gap Report (survey data on 2,200 farmers and fishermen) published by the Korea Intelligence Information Society Promotion Agency. Among the four major information vulnerable groups (the disabled, the elderly, low-income groups, and farmers and fishermen), attitudes toward using digital devices were examined in terms of the impact of the level of digital information use on life satisfaction among farmers and fishermen, who have a relatively large digital information gap with the general public. It was verified as a mediating effect. Findings As a result of the empirical analysis, attitudes toward the use of digital devices were found to play a mediating role in the impact of the level of digital information use on life satisfaction.

As our society is changed to the information & digital society based on the internet, the requirement that the analog certificate of Korean residence is changed to digital one is increased. The Korean Government selected the smart card of 72 KB for the digital certificate of Korean residence and try to insert the personnel information of 41 items to it. The method that the numerous personnel information is stored in one smart card is convenience to use. If the certificate of residence is lost, the number of personnel information is misused or spreaded thorough the Internet by the hacking. In this paper, we analyze the problem about the digital certificate of Korean residence and propose the countermeasure about the problem. In the proposal, the digital certificate of residence have only the certificate. Therefore, the size of the smart card is minimized and can be canceled at the loss of the certificate of residence. And the exposure worry of personnel information will be decreased.

Accesses to lands, houses, the Internet and other utilities are regarded as basic human needs to escape poverty and are required to recognize the relationships between the digital divide and socio-economical inequality. The digital divide might not be a single technical disparity, but stems from a complicated mixture of economic and socio-technical symptoms of inequality. There is growing awareness of scrutinizing causal mechanisms between the digital divide and poverty since combating poverty could be a primary step to mitigate the digital divide. In this paper, the Hexad model is proposed to explicate poverty interpretation by using 6 parameters as a major tool for partly assisting in poverty monitoring system in connection with land information. A solution model of the Internet is suggested to break the digital divide. It expounds a conceptual framework and new idea for poverty management to notify spatio-temporal locations of poor actors and geography of the digital divide when efforts of poverty eradication hinge on understandings of geographic location of digital disadvantaged groups through parcel-based land information.

Digital information resource requires detailed metadata to ensure its long-term preservation and accessibility for future generations. This paper illuminated the characteristics of digital information resources, the concept of digital preservation and the necessity of metadata for long-term preservation of digital information resources. And this paper examined the 16 elements of RLG metadata for preserving digital information and the Reference Model for an Open Archival Information System(OATS) to support the interoperability of digital archiving. And then this study investigated concretely element sets of the preservation metadata for digital information resources in the Cedars and OCLC/RLG embodied within the OAIS framework. As result of the study, the paper suggested basic plan required to provide preservation metadata elements to preserve digital information resources in Korea.

The concept of "new consumer sovereignty" is playing a significant role in having the initiative of production and consumption of technology and culture trend. Today the 'new consumers' positively use digital and information technology in purchasing. To understand these consumers' new purchase tendency, the study examined the actual conditions 1) of consumers' use of digital and information technology, 2) of digital devide between consumers, and 3) the consumer's attitude to changes of their lifestyle which digital convergence could result in. The subjects were thousand male and female adults. The data were collected from a survey conducted by Embrain, a research firm in Seoul, in the period of June 1st, 2007 ${\sim}$ June 10th, 2007. The results show: 1. Most subjects have computers, their Internet use is their general life, and they have lots of exposure opportunities to digital information. They positively and actively use information technology. 2. Between male and female subjects, and between old and young generation there is a significant digital gap. But the gap between regional areas is statistically not significant. 3. The subject's attitude to digital convergence society shows both positive expectation and negative concerns. Concludingly, to embody a desirable digital convergence society, it is necessary to be searched the ways which can decrease the digital gap and policy to share benefit that information technology can give to consumers.

A digital library could be understood as not a part of information cycling, but whole process of information production, circulation and reproduction. This study suggests that a digital library should be a creator as which it is publishing, circulating, and re-producing the information resources. Therefore, the role of intrinsic DRM (Digital Resources Management) can be interpreted as a digital library. Open access model have been already adopted to many university libraries, many university libraries are publishing free access online research resources by themselves. Also, research collection based on cloud computing can be extended to networked research collection and share with other university libraries. These evidences show future library can be the digital library with online and open accessible publishing function.

Recently, digital image is increasing greatly practical use degree in several industry fields including construction. And interest about 3D digital image that can express practical object realistically is augmented greatly. In this study, developed 3D digital image generation system based on digital photogrammetry and created 3D digital image for object. And, wished to verify of 3D digital image through comparative analysis with processing result by digital photogrammetry system been using much the latest for acquisition of 3D information. Also, wished to apply to surface information acquisition about rock slope and execute investigation about discontinuity of joint etc. As the result, could created 3D digital image for object using the 3D digital image generation system developing in this study, and acquire surface information about rock slope efficiently.
