  • The findings of this study indicate that intangible cultural properties are worth preservation and transmission and should be considered as very important as tangible cultural properties. If the studies of intangible cultural properties are continued focusing on their characteristics and formational system, they can be expressed more properly by adding new interactive elements to database and expressive requisites. New techniques introduced in this study are believed to provide people with most reasonable and developmental motives for expression of the existing intangible cultural properties. Concerning Korea's cultural properties centered on intangible cultural properties, information construction should be made with a new idea of information based on database from the previous studies. The result will be able to set an important factor to give wide publicity to our cultural identity, which is currently shown in the process of background communication, and serve as a foothold to deliver exact information to our descendants. The intangible cultural properties are our people's mental cultural heritage resources. If museums or initiator groups, which are organized to spread cultural heritages, can use them as the subjects of exhibition through information construction and visualization, it will function to maximize the educational effect of transmitting our national mental world. The development of digital environment will provide the optimum conditions and tools making it possible to visualize intangible forms and ideas in a virtual cyber space. Given these viewpoints, steady studies and efforts for the improvement of Korea's cultural image should be made in the way of intangible cultural properties as well as tangible ones. They start from the country's accurate appreciation of cultural properties and are embodied in systematic adjustment and relationship between interdependent elements.

To this end, 56 elementary science-gifted students in grades 4-6 from in an university-affiliated science-gifted education institute in metropolitan area were selected to participate in the field trip program. After the program, the students answered a survey regarding their perceptions of the program. Additionally, 19 students were selected for group interviews to further explore their survey responses. Results showed that many elementary science-gifted students perceived the program positively in various cognitive and affective aspects. Some students also pointed out certain limitations of the program. Five interconnected learning experiences were identified as influencing the students' perceptions: "experiences fostering creativity", "non-residential camp-type project-based learning experiences", "self-directed learning experiences", "experiences utilizing digital devices", and "collaborative experiences". Educational implications regarding these results were discussed.

  • Digital data was collected using modern three-dimensional digital technology. Current content-specific technologies were investigated through domestic and foreign cases so that three-dimensional digital technology could be applied to the utilization of various contents. First, the use of three-dimensional digital technology of architectural cultural assets has been changing from the restoration of cultural assets. Second, some of the contents produced were found to be underutilized. Third, the type of content has been changing in experience and exhibition, but the online approach was small. Fourth, digital restoration using domestic IT technology has been used as a technology to restore overseas cultural heritage. The fifth analysis of the relationship between the content types and 3D digital technologies shows the use of currently limited technologies. This study analyzed the status of digital architecture and the application of three-dimensional digital technologies to lay the foundation for the active development and utilization of content. Subsequent studies on various layers and digital technologies will be needed to revitalize digital architectural cultural assets in the future.

The reasons why fashion films have become a new fashion media among many others is becuase they are based on an existing platform. This study will examine offline platforms of fashion film: flagship store, fashion exhibition, and fashion show. The offline platform of a fashion film is a physical space where a fashion film can be exhibited and viewed as a medium that can effectively convey fashion film to consumers. As a research method, the concept of an offline platform of fashion film is established based on a literature review of fashion films and platform that is followed by an empirical case study. The study results show that the offline platform of a fashion film is in the progress of turning into an autotelic space where the consumption of such culture as cinema and theater has become possible.
