Transformations of the urban spatial structure, from sub-area redevelopment to newtown development, results great influences upon existing urban condition and spatial configuration. The purpose of the study is to analyse the effect of the urban spatial configuration of Uijongbu city where experienced changes after newly development of city center and new residential area. The west part of the city where is limited in growth by military bases, ego U.S Army basecamp, were planned and established as the other axis of the city center since mid 1980's. After that new residential area which is located in far east of the city were also developed. Space syntax as a methodology has been adopted to conduct quantitative analysis which is able to interpret differences between sub-areas ; old city center, new city center, new residential area. The results of the analysis are follows ; 1) existing structure of the urban fabric, especially old city center, is sustained and intensified, 2) new city center which is west part of the city has failed to achieve organic spatial connection adjacent to old city center, 3) there is less spatial depecdency relationship between city center and new residential area where is identified as another small self-support city within the city.

If we look closely to the power shift of the powerful countries historically. during the 16th century Spain's power came from gold, colony trade, the mercenary force, close relation with the thrown, 17th century Netherlands owes their power to trade, capital market, the marines, 18th century France owes it to population, agriculture, public administration, and the army. Also, England had their industry, political unity, finance and trust, the marines, liberalistic principles, a geographical merit of being an island which can be defended well and the 20th century America has their cosmopolitan culture, supernational communication, the capacity of the economy, science technology, military strength, alliances, liberalism international formation. But in the 21st century culture and art will prevail over the information age where technology and knowledge was the key, and it is predicted that this will be the source of power for a strong country. Rolfe Yesson, the head of The Copenhagen Research Center for future studies said, "Information age has ended and in the future Dream Society will arrive which focuses on making distinctions by delivering dreams and emotions to consumers". As cyberspace gradually substitutes reality, cyberspace has become more than an information search engine and has become a place where people fulfill their desires and exchange culture. And as a medium for diffusing culture, the importance of the digital dress-up avatar is predicted to increase gradually.gradually.

Recently, many countries have been developing new protocols to improve the performance of tactical ad hoc networks for implementing NCW (Network Centric Warfare). Combat net radio (CNR) networks are the most important communication infra for the ground forces such as infantry of Army. U.S. Army had developed MIL-STD-188-220D that is the Interoperability Standard for DMTDs (Digital Messages Transfer Device Subsystems) for voice and data communication in CNR. MIL-STD-188-220D is a candidate for MAC protocol of TMMR which is next radio and has a few constraints to used in TMMR. NAD (Network Access Delay) defined in MIL-STD-188-220D needs time synchronization to avoid collision. However, it is difficult for time synchronization to fit in multi-hop environment. We suggest the enhanced DAP (Deterministic Adaptable Priority)-NAD to prevent conflicts and decrease delays in multi-hop CNR. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme improves the performance in multi-hop CNR networks.

In 2020, the digitization of the previously partially researched "6.25 War military records" was completed and transitioned to public access, allowing anyone to utilize the digitized materials. Following concerns regarding the effective utilization of these records and the creation of historical value, this study analyzed issues found in the specific region of Hamyang in Gyeongsangnam-do based on the management status and utilization information of the National Archives of Korea, War Memorial of Korea, and Army Records and Information Management System that primarily managed the records. Furthermore, it proposes developing the metadata elements to address the issues, constructing a digital archive, enhancing the interconnectedness of war records, providing educational and exhibition services, and offering various forms of research materials.

In this paper, we attempt to empirically explain the process by which fandom performs social participation using digital media. To do this, we utilize the concept of identification and the Situational Theory of Publics in a theoretical framework, and study ARMY, BTS fandom. We confirmed a positive association between communication behavior and social participation, and verified a mediating effect of the identification as well. Interestingly, horizontal identification, a fan-to-star friendly relationship, had a greater effect on moving toward social participation than did vertical identification, a fan's blind worship of a star. This study has significance in that it has figured out the relationship of personal feelings to public participation by mobilizing achievements in various research fields.

This study presents the gravity data with GPS survrying and the geophysical profiles at the Choogaryeong Rift Valley. And in determing geoid by GPS measurement, survey control points (SCP) whoch built by the Republic of Korean Army are used. Seventy nine SCP and the two triangulation stations are reviewd by GPS. Digital terain model is under for terrain analysis. The analyses of the gravity surveying with GPS are as follows. The low values of the negative Bouguer anomalies represent the high elevation terrain. The Bouguer anomalies show the decrrasing trend toward the eastern part of the study area. Characteristics of free-air anomalies are related with terrain elevation. The regional gravity anomalies decreas toward the eastern part of the study area. The trends of variations are associated with the thermotectonic and geologic structure beneath the Choogaryeong Rift Valley. The most parts of the study area represent negative residual gravity anomalies due to the low dencity of sedimentary cover in the Rift Valley. There are three valleys and four mountains in the direction of NE-SW or NNE-SSW which are structured by the geological features.

The key points of the CTP board is as follows: Film, brightness, plate exposure is eliminated, the reduction of personal expenses, and the reduction of time consumption. But above all, the accurate reappearance of the highlighting and shadow portion as well as self modification of the dust edge portion stands out as the most impressive improvements. In this paper, using a digital test from 4.0 and a Thermal CTP color printing control, the two parts of the Thermal CTP utilized a 1%-99% dot reappearance. Also, using an opposite line target, the results of the CTP plates and printing were compared. Finally, research was made on the printing quality on the slur development of the plate and the result when there was a lack of weave connection.

Unmanned ground vehicles(UGVs) are expected to play a key role in the future army. These UGVs would be used for weapons platforms. logistics carriers, reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition in the rough terrain. Most of path planning methodologies for UGVs offer an optimal or sub-optimal shortest-path in a 20 space. However, those methodologies do not consider increment and reduction effects of relative distance when a UGV climbs up or goes down in the slope of rough terrain. In this paper, we propose a novel path planning methodology using the modified distance transform algorithm. Our proposed path planning methodology employs two kinds of map. One is binary obstacle map. The other is the DEM. With these two maps, the modified distance transform algorithm in which distance between cells is increased or decreased by weighting function of slope is suggested. The proposed methodology is verified by various simulations on the randomly generated DEM and obstacle map.

This case study research analyzes the cross-artistic project Connect, BTS and its relationship to transmedia branding, meaning-making and spatiality. After an overview of the argument and a section on methodology, the reader will find the analysis of the case study. Thanks to the use of a qualitative approach, this examination of Connect, BTS unveils the ways in which this initiative becomes a location that allows a reconceptualization of space that fosters plurality, exchange, and subjectivity. Connect, BTS unites seemingly incompatible fields under one project, favoring the co-creation of meanings among different artists, BTS, ARMY (the group's fans), business partners and viewers. This process has been investigated through content analysis, exploring Connect, BTS's transmedia strategies from branding to storytelling, to evaluate their efficacy in regard to brand identity, brand experience, and brand trust. The paper will also explore the variety of layers and spatial dimensions contained in Connect, BTS, which flow from art to the music industry, material and digital space, various market sectors and media. In light of this, Connect, BTS embraces a galaxy of separate semantic units into an extended liminal continuum that does not discount difference.

The purpose of this study is to analyze drum performance techniques, focusing on the representative artists of funk music, who had a revival starting in the 1970s. The purpose of this study is to analyze the creativity shown in David Garibaldi's playing technique, which had a great influence on drum majors with his funk drum playing technique. As a research method, 'James Brown', 'Earth, Wind & Fire' and 'Tower of Power' with David Garibaldi as drummer were selected as representative bands. For the study period, the drum performance was examined by selecting two representative songs from among the songs released between 1965 and 1975, when the development of the corresponding funk music began. David Garibaldi's creative performance in this study is as follows. First, we tried to create a new rhythm in the form of changing the beat or resting the beat out of the frame of contemporary drum performance. Second, the 'Paradiddle', 'Accent', and 'Swiss Army triplet' rudiment techniques were applied to the entire drum kit, bringing innovation to the rhythm. Third, the samba pattern of Latin rhythm and the form of 'Afro-Cuban' were grafted onto funk music. Fourth, the idea of Unison Rhythm obtained from the structure of Latin music was applied to funk music. Based on this study, it is hoped that research on drum performance techniques of various genres will be conducted.
