Acculturation is caused with contact by two different cultures. This study investigates a cultural change of Gangwha society with Hagok confusianism influenced by implantation of methodism. At early periods methodism diffused rapidly and relocated toward marine routes. Lately hierarchical diffusion and contagious diffusion was typical, centering on the Gangwha Jungang Church. This successful acception was influenced with confusianism's acculturation. One of the reason why Gangwha people could accept the Christianity was reinterpretation and selective strategy by Hagok fraction that became one of confusinism, It seemed that several cultural elements of Hagok fraction was coincided with some elements of methodism. However, A methodist church transferred by clan's shrine, which family relationship was coerced, was split into it's members. This segregation other than social intergretation influenced establishment of a or more church per each village.

Demand forecasting is essential in establishing national and corporate strategy as well as the management of their resource. We forecast demand for multi-generation product using discrete choice model combining diffusion model The discrete choice model generally captures consumers'valuation of the product's qualify in the framework of a cross-sectional analysis. We incorporate diffusion effects into a discrete choice model in order to capture the dynamics of demand for multi-generation products. As an empirical application, we forecast demand for worldwide DRAM (dynamic random access memory) and each of its generations from 1999 to 2005. In so doing, we use the method of 'Technological Forecasting'for DRAM Density and Price of the generations based on the Moore's law and learning by doing, respectively. Since we perform our analysis at the market level, we adopt the inversion routine in using the discrete choice model and find that our model performs well in explaining the current market situation, and also in forecasting new product diffusion in multi-generation product markets.
Purpose - This study aimed to identify the sub-dimensions of fashion social media quality (information quality, social quality, service quality, system quality) and investigate how they affect purchase intention through fashion information use behavior (information acceptance, information diffusion). Research design, data, and methodology - Data collection was carried out twice for systematic verification of the research model. In the first data collection, the reliability and validity of research variables were verified through 238 respondents and questionnaires were revised and supplemented based on their responses. In March 2018, the final survey was conducted from 755 respondents the age of 20 to 49. Using SPSS 23.0, descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis were performed. In order to test hypotheses, structural equational modeling technique was employed using AMOS 23.0. Results - First of all, fashion Social media quality consists of four factors including information quality, social quality, service quality and system quality. Second, fashion Social media information quality, social quality, and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information acceptance behavior, and social quality, service quality and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information diffusion behavior. It was also determined that the acceptance and diffusion behaviors of fashion information through fashion Social media had positive(+) influence on purchase intention. Conclusions - This study holds academic significance in its identification of the components of fashion Social media quality and for conducting an empirical analysis on the causal relationship between fashion information acceptance and diffusion behaviors, and purchase intention. The results of this study indicate that fashion involvement is the key factors in determining the quality of Social media, the acceptance of information through Social media, and, by extension, the purchase of fashion products. Practitioners in the fashion industry may use the findings of this study in order to build more effective Social media strategy.

In the dissertation, Bibos are discussed as landscape features in the geographical context of Youngnam Region. The bibo tradition in Youngnam Region began with the incorporation of temple structures in Shilla and Kaya kingdoms, and spread throughout the country during the period of Unified Shilla. In Korea Dynasty, the diffusion of temple Bibo gained momentum, because Buddhism was worshipped as national religion. Then came a sea change in the Bibo repertoire with the replacement of Buddhism by Confucianism as an ideological prop for Chason Korea. The retreat of Buddhism led to the popularization of feng-shui motifs in Bibo strategy. The centers of the diffusion of the logic of bibo were major towns such as Kyongju, Ahndong, Sangju, and Chinju. The diffusion process continued top-down to mid-sized towns, and to the bottom of small villages. What sustained the hierarchical diffusion of Bibo attributes was myriad of transportation lines. The main artery of the diffusion in Korea Dynasty was that connecting Kaegyong to Kyongju. That same function was performed by the royal road running from Seoul through Sangju, Milyang, and to Tongrae. In the age of modernization, the feng-shui and Bibo landscapes have lost their original aura. They have suffered from the ruthless attacks of the Enlightenment logic of science. However, the elan vital of feng-shui and Bibo are still visible and strongly felt in the countryside. From field experiences, one can notice that the Bibo landscapes are tightly integrated into the rural way of life. The durability of the traditional geomancy shows us the beauty of the harmonious interplay between Youngnam people and the nature.

The tilde use of Information Technology (IT), especially the rapid diffusion of the internet, brings us a new paradigm, called "Electronic Commerce," or "Digital Economy." The paradigm is regarded as a business strategy essential to organizations′competitive advantages. Because few studies have been shown in the area of e-strategies, especially in the combined strategies of clicks and mortars, a study of this area is required. The main questions of this study are empirically to validate the usefulness and applicability of a decision roadmap and to analyze the situation of Korean firms in the view of the decision roadmap. Major results of this study are as follows : First, there is an evidence that the roadmap can be applied to Korean firms regardless of their industry and size. Second, the usefulness of the roadmap is proved because companies following the directions of the roadmap show high degree of satisfaction with online sales. Third, Korean companies in general do not achieve an Ideal Integration (or separation), especially In terms of management and operation. In conclusion, this study provides an e-business strategy Planner some guidelines about how to achieve right mix of on-line and off-line business.

Multiple Mobile Robots System (MMRS) has shown many attractive features in lots of real-world applications that motivate their rapid and wide diffusion. In MMRS, the Cooperative Localization (CL) is the basis and premise of its high-performance task. However, the statistical characteristics of the system noise should be already known in traditional CL algorithms, which is difficult to satisfy in actual MMRS because of the numerous of disturbances form the complex external environment. So the CL accuracy will be reduced. To solve this problem, an improved Adaptive Active Cooperative Localization (A2CL) algorithm based on information optimization strategy for MMRS is proposed in this manuscript. In this manuscript, an adaptive information fusion algorithm based on the variance component estimation under Extended Kalman filter (VCEKF) method for MMRS is introduced firstly to enhance the robustness and accuracy of information fusion by estimating the covariance matrix of the system noise or observation noise in real time. Besides, to decrease the effect of observation uncertainty on CL accuracy further, an observation optimization strategy based on information theory, the Model Predictive Control (MPC) strategy, is used here to maximize the information amount from observations. And semi-physical simulation experiments were carried out to verity the A2CL algorithm's performance finally. Results proved that the presented A2CL algorithm based on information optimization strategy for MMRS cannot only enhance the CL accuracy effectively but also have good robustness.
With diffusion of Smart Work, a problem has been raised that Smart Work makes the boundary between work and nonwork blur, and may cause technostress. In order to find out whether Smart work copes with techno-invasion stress in work domain, we need to understand the precedence factors influencing on job satisfaction and the role of boundary management strategy which Smart Workers actively choose. This paper developed a research model containing a causal relationship among four factors, nonwork-to-work interference, job autonomy, job commitment, and job satisfaction, and the moderation effect of boundary management strategy. The findings show that overall hypotheses were accepted based on the pooled data, but three hypotheses test on job satisfaction by boundary management strategy type differed. These results suggest that in accordance with the boundary management strategy of Smart Work users, different change management need to be prepared.
Purpose - It is widely accepted that the process of developing marketing strategy is composed of three steps: market segmentation, target market selection and positioning. However, mass marketing strategy based on cost reduction through economies of scale and standardized products, can be also an effective strategic option. Many marketing scholars including Theodore Levitt emphasize the importance of applying the mass production concept to various industries including service industries. Especially, in times of economic downturn, the capability of providing consumers with low-priced, value products can be an important source of competitive advantage, as well as the ability of providing high-priced premium products. Marketers should decide whether they will implement mass marketing strategy or target marketing strategy. The present study theoretically shows that firms should understand the target customers' price elasticity as well as the firm's cost structure in order to make such a strategic decision. Research design, data, and methodology - Instead of implementing an empirical study, this study provides a theoretical(mathematical) investigation on the effect of consumers' price elasticity on a firm's optimal price level, profit, sales volume, revenue, and cost. The results are mostly deduced from derivative calculations and several graphs are utilized to represent the results on the relationships between the variables under study. Results - The analytical results suggest that it is more profitable for a firm to adopt the segment/target marketing strategy (more specifically the differentiation strategy) when the degree of consumers' heterogeneity is high and the proportion of the fixed cost in the total cost is low. On the other hand, if the degree of consumers' heterogeneity is low and the fixed cost is high, it is better to adopt the mass marketing strategy or the cost leadership strategy. The strategy of concentrating on a single target market will be effective when consumers' needs are highly heterogeneous but the fixed cost is high. Any of the three types of generic strategies proposed my Porter(1980, 1985) can be applied when both the consumers' heterogeneity and the fixed cost are low. This study also proposes the contribution-margin-based method for developing the optimal pricing strategy. Conclusions - One of the primary roles of marketers is to find a proper compromise between the two conflicting goals of maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing cost. In order to do so, he or she should understand the characteristics of the target customers as well as the cost structure of the firm. In addition to the theoretical analyses, this study discusses several business cases and explains how superior companies find the optimal compromise position between these two goals and dominate the market. One of the radical changes recently taking place in business arena is the reduction of production and distribution costs of both physical goods and information due to the advancement and the wide diffusion of information technology. The cost reduction combined with lowered priced elasticity incurred by customized products and services, will enable many firms to adopt the mass customization strategy.

Data are dramatically increased and big data technology is spotlighted innovative technology among the latest information technologies. Organizations are interested in adoption of big data system to analyze various data format and to identify new business opportunity. The purpose of this study is to build a unified model for a system adoption through analysis of impact that affects behavioral intention and usage behavior of using big data. This study in addition to Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE), that is used the introduction of organizational studies, and Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) have implemented an extended unified model including the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) that is usually used in personal level adoption study. The hypothesis was set up after implementing research model, and then got 411 effective survey data to target the member of organizations. As a result, all models (UTAUT, TOE, DOI) are affect to behavioral intention and usage behavior. It is verified that the suggested unified model was appropriate.
CALS(Commerce At Light Speed) which originated in the early 1980's in the military sector is now an integral component in our global strategy to further heighten competitiveness. Through integration and streamlining of production, distribution, technical information and management, CALS will certainly lead the world out of these economically challenging times and into new global prosperity. However, not much effort have been focused on the development and diffusion issues of component technologies such as ERP/SCM(Enterprise Resourses Planning/supply Chain Management), PDM(Product Data Management), and BPR(Business Process Reengineering) related with the CALS in electronic industry. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the advancing status and to present suggestions for the development of the CALS in electronic industry. In order to achieve the purpose, the case study has been conducted using the questionaries on the end-users and the interviews on the managers in the CALS area. The case study cover 57 users of the CALS for the three outstanding electronics(L, S, and D Electronics) in Korea. The questionaries include five success measures and eleven diffusion factors for the component technologies such as ERP/SCM, PDM, and BPR. In summary, the CALS will serve as the bases for exciting corporated innovations and the common business framework which facilitates the realization of Virtual Enterprise and Electronic Commerce in the 21st century.
