The present paper analyses the radiation effects of mass transfer on steady nonlinear MHD boundary layer flow of a viscous incompressible fluid over a nonlinear porous stretching surface in a porous medium in presence of heat generation. The liquid metal is assumed to be gray, emitting, and absorbing but non-scattering medium. Governing nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by utilizing suitable similarity transformation. The resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved numerically using Runge-Kutta fourth order method along with shooting technique. Comparison with previously published work is obtained and good agreement is found. The effects of various governing parameters on the liquid metal fluid dimensionless velocity, dimensionless temperature, dimensionless concentration, skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are discussed with the aid of graphs.
In this paper, an analytical procedure for solving several static and dynamic problems of non-uniform beams is proposed. It is shown that the governing differential equations for several stability, free vibration and static problems of non-uniform beams can be written in the from of a unified self-conjugate differential equation of the second-order. There are two functions in the unified equation, unlike most previous researches dealing with this problem, one of the functions is selected as an arbitrary expression in this paper, while the other one is expressed as a functional relation with the arbitrary function. Using appropriate functional transformation, the self-conjugate equation is reduced to Bessel's equation or to other solvable ordinary differential equations for several cases that are important in engineering practice. Thus, classes of exact solutions of the self-conjugate equation for several static and dynamic problems are derived. Numerical examples demonstrate that the results calculated by the proposed method and solutions are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental data, and the proposed procedure is a simple, efficient and exact method.
The study was performed to extraction the ground water potential area using LANDSAT TM data. The image processing techniques developed for the study are contrast transformation, differential filtering and pseudo stereoscopic image methods. These were examined for lineament extraction, lineament interpretation and the integration of vertor data with LANDSAT data. The differential filtering method is much usefull for lineament extraction, and all direction lineaments are clearly shown on the band 5 image of LANDSAT TM. The pseudo stereoscopic image are made in which color differential method is adopted, the pair images are usefull for the lineament interpretation. The results of the analysis are as follows. 1) there is a close correlation between lineament and cased well in the study area, because 33 wells of the developed 45 cased wells coincide with the lineaments. 2) 21 sites in the study area were selected for pumping test, and as a result 11 sites of them produces over than 200 ton/day.
The effects of longitudinal velocity dusty fluid flow in a weak magnetic field are investigated in this paper. An external uniform magnetic field parallel to the flow of dusty fluid influences the flow of dusty fluid. Besides that, the problem under investigation is completely defined in terms of identifying parameters such as longitudinal velocity (u), Hartmann number (M), dust particle interactions β, stock resistance γ, Reynolds number (Re) and magnetic Reynolds number (Rm). While using suitable transformations of resemblance, The governing partial differential equations are transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations. The Hankel Transformation is used to solve these equations numerically. The effects of representing parameters on the fluid phase and particle phase velocity flow are investigated in this analysis. The magnitude of the fluid particle is reduced significantly. The result indicates the magnitude of the particle reduced significantly. Although some of our numerical solutions agree with some of the available results in the literature review, other results differs because of the effect of the introduced magnetic field.

This paper proposes a real-time application of Walsh functions which is based on the on-line Walsh transformation and on-line Walsh function's differential operation. In the existing method of orthogonal functions, a major disadvantage is that process signals need to be recorded prior to obtaining their expansions. This paper proposes a novel method of Walsh transformation to overcome this shortcoming. And the proposed method apply to the unknown inputs observer(UIO) design for linear time-invariant dynamical systems
The flight performance evaluation of navigation system is very significant because the reliability of navigation data directly affect the safety of aircraft. Especially, the high-level navigation system such as DGPS/INS, need more precise flight performance evaluation method. The performance analysis is evaluated by comparing between the navigation system in aircraft and reference trajectory which is more precise than navigation system in aircraft. In order to verify DGPS/INS performance of m-level, the GPS receiver, which is capable post-processed Carrier-phase Differential GPS(CDGPS) method of cm-level, have to be used as reference system. The DGPS/INS is estimated the Center of Gravity (CG) point of aircraft to offer precise performance while the reference system is output the position of GPS antenna which is mounted on the outside of aircraft. Therefore, in order to more precise performance evaluation, it needs to compensate the lever arm and coordinates transformation. This paper use quaternion and Direct Cosine Matrix(DCM) methods as coordinate transformation matrix in lever arm compensation of CDGPS reference trajectory. And it compares NED errors of DCM and quaternion transformation in lever arm of reference trajectory via DGPS/INS result.

In this study, phase transformation characteristics of Nitinol shape memory alloy with 54.5wt%Ni-45.5wt%Ti were investigated by varying with annealing treatment and cutting conditions through DSC(differential scanning calorimetry). Annealing treatment conditions were considered as heat treated time of 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, and 45 min, heat treated temperature of 40$0^{\circ}C$, 50$0^{\circ}C$, 5$25^{\circ}C$, 55$0^{\circ}C$, 575$^{\circ}C$, $600^{\circ}C$, $700^{\circ}C$, 80$0^{\circ}C$, and 90$0^{\circ}C$, and environmental condition of heat treatment under vacuum or air. Cutting conditions were considered as no cutting, one side cutting, and two side cutting. Tensile test was also conducted on Nitinol shape memory alloy to investigate thermomechanical characteristics by varying with annealing heat treatment histories. According to the results, annealing treatment and cutting conditions were found to significantly affect on phase transformation and thermomechanical characteristics of Nitinol shape memory alloy.
Various modifications of manganese dioxide have been discussed in terms of the chemical analysis by differential heating curve. The transformation temperatures of the modifications were observed as follows; ${\alpha}-\;and\;{\beta}-MnO_2$ are both $580^{\circ}C∼650^{\circ}C$, ${\gamma}-MnO_2$is is $405^{\circ}C~605^{\circ}C$ and ${\delta}-MnO_2$is $860^{\circ}C~875^{\circ}C$, respectively. Endothermic peaks appeared at the transformation temperatures mentioned above. The restoration temperatures of transformation is completed depending on the amounts of the given samples, but the temperatures of the top of endothermic peaks are nearly constant. The curves of ${\alpha}-,{\beta}-MnO_2$and ${\delta}-MnO_2$ show small peaks while that of ${\gamma}-MnO_2$ shows a sharp and broad peak.
A method for faulted line detection of four parallel lines on the same tower is presented, based on four-summing and double-differential sequences of one terminal current. Four-summing and double-differential sequences of fault current can be calculated using a certain transformation matrix for parameter decoupling of four parallel transmission lines. According to fault boundary conditions, the amplitude and phase characteristics of four-summing and double-differential sequences of fault current is studied under conditions of different types of fault. Through the analysis of the relationship of terminal current and fault current, a novel methodology for fault line detection of four parallel transmission line on the same tower is put forward, which can pick out the fault lines no matter the fault occurs in single line or cross double lines. Simulation results validate that the methodology is correct and reliable under conditions of different load currents, transient resistances and fault locations.

Transformation behavior and shape memory characteristics of Ti-(45-x)Ni-5Cu-xCr (x=0.5-2.0) alloys have been investigated by means of electrical resistivity measurements, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and thermal cycling tests under constant load. Two-stage B2-B19-B19' transformation occurred in Ti-(45-x)Ni-5Cu-xCr alloys. The B2-B19 transformation was separated clearly from the B19-B19' transformation in Ti-44.0Ni-5Cu-1.0Cr and Ti-43.5Ni-5Cu-1.5Cr alloys. A temperature range where the B19 martensite exists was expanded with increasing Cr content because decreasing rate of Ms (85 K / % Cr) was larger than that of Ms' (17 K / % Cr). Ti-(45-x)Ni-5Cu-xCr alloys were deformed in plastic manner with a fracture strain of 68% ~ 43% depending on Cr content. Substitution of Cr for Ni improves the critical stress for slip deformation in a Ti-45Ni-5Cu alloy due to solid solution hardening.
