대기중에서 구형 유전체 펠렛의 전계 분포 특성 평가 (The simulation on a electric field distribution of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball at atmosphere)

  • This paper explained electric field distribution's characteristics of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball to voltage. When discharge gap of electrode and input voltage are each 20[mm], 10000[V], the electric field simulation results of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball with relative dielectric constant of several kind measured stronger electric field near electric pellets with a shape of ball of ${\phi}5$[mm] than $1{\phi}$[mm] and $3.33{\phi}$[mm] at atmosphere. And the maximum electric field of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball over ${\phi}5$[mm] increased about 5[%] to maximum electric field of electric pellets with a shape of ball ${\phi}5$[mm]. And the result of simulation, when relative dielectric constant of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball is 100, it measured about 90[%] of maximum electric field of dielectric pellets with a shape of ball with relative dielectric constant over 1000.

A New Type of Nonthermal Plasma Reactor

  • A new type of nonthermal plasma reactor utilizing ferroelectric pellets is proposed to generate nonthermal plasma efficiently, which is used for simultaneous control of various pollutant gases. Electric charges stored on ferroelctric pellets by corona discharge between a corona tip and a mesh electrode provide partial electrical discharges among ferroelectric pellets. These partial electrical discharges can enhance partial discharges around the surface of ferroelectric pellets. This method utilizes wide reacting area of ferroelectric pellets and partial discharge. Positive and negative dc voltage are applied to the corona tip to generate partial discharges, and corona currents are estimated to investigate charge storage on ferroelectric pellets as function of time and charge relaxation time constants of ferroelectric pellects. As a result, charge relaxationtime, dielectric constants of ferroelectric pellets, polarity of applied voltage and applied time influence partial discharges among ferroelectric pellect.

유전체구 충진형 전극계의 코로나방전과 강전해수 발생특성 (Corona Discharge and Strong Electrolyzed Water Generation Characteristics of the Electrode System Bedded by Dielectric Pellets)

  • 본 논문은 전해수 발생장치내에 이온분리집속 격막을 설치하여 비유전율이 틀리는 유전체구를 충진한 구조로 함으로써 고효율의 강전해수 발생장치를 제안하였다. 염화나트륨이 용해된 수도수와 일반수도수를 원료수로서 본 강전해수 발생장치에 인입하였을 때 충진된 유전체구의 비유전율 변화가 수중 이온분리집속성능에 미치는 영향을 연구 검토하였다. 실험결과로서 본 강전해수 발생장치에 원료수로서 수도수의 유속을 0.5[LPM]으로 인입시키고 구형파 펄스전류를 1.0[A]로 인가하였을 때 pH 3.1과 10.6의 전해수를 얻을 수 있었다. 그리고 염화나트륨이 0.1[wt%]용해된 수도수의 경우 pH 2.8과 11.7의 전해수를 얻었다. 또한 비유전율이 가장 높은 BaTiO$_3$과 같은 유전체구를 전해수 발생장치에 충진한 경우 각각 PH 2.7, 11.7과 pH 2.4, 12.0의 전해수를 얻을 수 있었다.

직류 코로나 하전된 강유전체구 층의 연면방전특성 (Surface Discharge Characteristics of a DC Corona Charged Ferroelectric Pellet Barrier)

  • Surface corona discharge characteristics of a dc corona charged ferroelectric pellet barrier have been investigated experimentally. Electric charges stored on the surfaces of the ferroelectric pellets by a dc corona discharge provide partial electric fields on the surfaces of the ferroelectric pellets, which could generate surface corona discharges on the ferroelectric pellets. This system utilizes both the surface discharges on the ferroelectric pellet barrier and the corona discharge between corona tip and mesh electrode. Positive and negative dc voltages were applied to the tip to generate partial discharges, and corona currents were estimated to investigate the buildup charge on ferroelectric pellets as a function of the applied time and the charge relaxation time constants of ferroelectric pellets. As a result, in the case of the negative corona discharge with the ferroelectric pellet barrier, the mean corona current and ozone generation increase greatly, and the surface discharges on the ferroelectric pellets can be fenerated efficiently. It is also found that, charge relaxation time, dielectric constants offerroelectric pellets, polarity of applied voltage and applied time affected to the surface discharges among the ferroelectric pellets.

금속파티클-$Al_2O_3$ hybrid 반응기의 NOx 제거에 미치는 유전체 영향 (Effect of dielectrics on NOx removal of Metal particle-$Al_2O_3$ hybrid type reactor)

  • In this paper, we made different types of non-thermal plasma reactors such as Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$ to measure NOx removal characteristic and the dielectric effect for NOx removal. NOx removal rate is not so good when we use just dielectric of $Al_2O_3$ at the Metal-particle reactor, also we just put sludge pellets(100%) without Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$ and dielectric such as $TiO_2$, $BaTiO_3$ to measure the effect of sludge for NOx removal so that NOx removal rate is almost the same. However NOx removal rate is more than 90% in case of the reactor of composition shape used both dielectric of $Al_2O_3$ and sludge pellets at the same time. In case of the shape of plasma reactor with dielectric, the Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$, and the metal-particle reactor with both $Al_2O_3$ and dielectric such as $TiO_2$, $BaTiO_3$ at the same time, they are almost the same effect for NOx removal, so we made MNPR(Metal-particle Non-thermal Plasma Reactor with $Al_2O_3$) to reduce these kinds of demerits. Finally, we think MNPR should be much better than other reactors for NOx removal.

금속파티클-AI2O3Barrier 반응기의 NOx 제거에 미치는 유전체 영향 (Effect of Dielectrics on NOx Removal of Metal Particle-AI2O3 Barrier Reactor)

  • In this paper, we made four types of metal particle $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier reactors with and without dielectric of BaTiO$_3$ between metal particle and $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier to investigate NOx removal characteristic and the effect of dielectric on Nox removal. And Nox removal rate is measured when sludge pellets are put at down stream of plasma reactor. Nox removal rate in the reactor with $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier is much better than that in the reactor without $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier, Nox removal rate is not so good in metal particle-Al$_2$O$_3$ barrier reactor with BaTiO$_3$ between metal particle and $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier, however, Nox removal rate is about 40% in metal particle-Al$_2$O$_3$ barrier reactor with TiO$_2$. The most of NO is conversed to NO$_2$ in these kind of reactor. When sludge pellets are put at down stream of plasma reactor, Nox removal rate is greatly improved up to 90%. It indicates that sludge pellets have great effect on the NO$_2$ removal and the improvement of Nox removal rate, however, dielectric materials between metal particle and $Al_2$O$_3$ barrier have not effect. Organic materials included in sludge may react with NO$_2$ and ozone so that Nox removal rate is greatly improved.

  • Widely used dielectrics, barium titanate was promising material for ceramic capacitor. It was produced by specific formulation with various dopants-La2O3, ZrO2, SnO2, CaZrO3, CaTiO3, CaSnO3, Bi2O3, and etc.-according to demanded properties of capacitor. In this study, we would examinate the study of dielectric properties and temperatuer characteristics (T.C.) with the amount of Bi2O3. The sample was prepared with [BaTiO3]10+[BaZrO3, SnO2, La2O3, ZrO2]10 and Bi2O3 varied from 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 to 3.0wt%. After milling and mixing for 15hrs, each sample was dried and then pressed at 700kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ into pellets. Pellets were fired at 131$0^{\circ}C$, for 3hrs in air. As the result of measurements, dielectric constant, break down voltage, and insulation resistance were increased with the amount of Bi2O3, and the resonant frequency was shifted from high frequency to low frequency range. In the case of temperature characteristics, capacitance change rate was symmetrically changed at -$25^{\circ}C$ and +85$^{\circ}C$ respectively. Therefore, it is recognized that the temperature characteristics can be moderated with doping Bi2O3 in our study.

SBT 강유전체 충전층 저온 플라즈마 반응기의 전기적 특성, 오존생성 및 휘발성유기화합물의 분해 (Characteristics of Electrical Properties, Ozone Generation and Decomposition of Volatile Organic Compounds by Nonthermal Plasma Reactor Packed with SBT Ferroelectric)

  • Ferroelectric의 강유전체 소구들을 충전한 원통형의 비열 방전 플라즈마 반응기를 설계 제작하였으며, 강유전체 층방전 구조를 구성하는 평판(20 mm 간격) 금속망 전극 사이에 직경 2.0 mm인 $SrBiTaO_9$ (SBT) 소구들을 위치시키고 고압의 교류 전원을 인가하였다. SBT 소구는 상온($25^{\circ}C$)에서 150, 큐리온도($335^{\circ}C$)에서 500의 유전상수를 가졌다. 플라즈마 반응기에서 오존 생성속도는 거의 인가전압의 증가에 비례하였으며, SBT 소구들이 충전된 경우, 20 kV 이상의 인가전압에서 오존 생성속도는 급격하게 증가하였다. 부코로나 방전에서 오존 생성속도가 정코로나 방전에서의 경우보다 높았다. 그러나 톨루엔 및 메틸렌클로라이드의 분해율은 생성된 오존 농도에 비례하여 증가하지 않았다.

Micro/Millimeter-Wave Dielectric Indialite/Cordierite Glass-Ceramics Applied as LTCC and Direct Casting Substrates: Current Status and Prospects

  • Indialite/cordierite glass-ceramics demonstrate excellent microwave dielectric properties such as a low dielectric constant of 4.7 and an extremely high quality factor Qf of more than 200 × 103 GHz when crystallized at 1300℃/20 h, which are essential criteria for application to 5G/6G mobile communication systems. The glass-ceramics applied to dielectric resonators, low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrates, and direct casting glass substrates are reviewed in this paper. The glass-ceramics are fabricated by the crystallization of glass with cordierite composition melted at 1550℃. The dielectric resonators are composed of crystallized glass pellets made from glass rods cast in a graphite mold. The LTCC substrates are made from indialite glass-ceramic powder crystallized at a low temperature of 1000℃/1 h, and the direct casting glass-ceramic substrates are composed of crystallized glass plates cast on a graphite plate. All these materials exhibit excellent microwave dielectric properties.

강유전체(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3의 제조 및 전기적 특성 분석 (Fabrication and Electrical Propertie of the Ferroelectric (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3)

  • Ferroelectric ceramics are broadly used for various industrial applications. In this research, the lead-free ferroelectric ceramics of $(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5})NbO_3$ was fabricated by using the solid state synthesis. The $(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5})NbO_3$ pellets were sintered at 1200, 1150 and $1100^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours in air atmosphere. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) characterization of the sintered KNN ceramics revealed surface morphology and grain size. And we used the X-ray diffraction (XRD) for measuring the sample crystal phase. Temperature dependence of the dielectric constant was measured by using an LCR meter. The sintered at $1150^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours sample has a highest dielectric constant 6011 at Curie temperature ($T_C$) and dense structure with $2.33{\mu}m$ grain size.
