Producing tools for actively meeting social needs in a radical changing society due to the development of modern technology has been shifted from physical ability to intelligent ability. The prominence of educating creativity is perceived as a good preparation in order to deal with them. Considered that assessment which is systematic activity to collect, analyze, diagnose, and judge information of a series of instruction practices is means to impart evidence and feedback of teaching learning practices, education and assessment is placed on reciprocal relationship. Nevertheless, there has been some tendency of neglect of assessment, comparing education for upbringing creativity. In this paper model of pencil and paper problem is discussed focusing on the sub-components of creativity and problem solving as one of the variety of means to extend mathematical creativity.

Rupture of the rectus femoris at the musculotendinous junction is very rarely reported in the literature, especially which is caused by chronic repetitive stimulation. A 21 year old soldier complained of progressing right thigh pain and mass for 8 weeks after military training. MRI of the right thigh showed inhomogenous mass lesion suspecting soft tissue tumor. However ultrasonographic examination showed torn retracted rectus femoris tendon at musculotendinous junction. One year after primary repair of ruptured tendon, the patient is free from symptoms and returned to full previous activities. Knowledge of this sonographic and MRI finding will help the surgeon to diagnose and treat this rare injury.

The visual evoked potentials(VEPs) is used to assist in the diagnosis of specific disorders associated with involvement of the sensory visual pathways. The P100 latency is an important parameter which is diagnosis of optic nerve disorders. There are characteristics of latency delay, wave distortion, amplitude deduction in abnormal subjects. It is difficult to diagnose in the case of producing peak at the P100 latency. In this paper, difference of pattern between normal VEPs and abnormal VEPs using the Choi-Williams distribution method is studied. We observed the relationship about time and spectrum. The result shown that normal VEPs had maximum spectral value at 20Hz~26.7Hz and abnormal VEPs had maximum spectral value at 16.7Hz~20Hz. Also normal VEPs spectrum is higher than abnormal VEPs spectrum.

The study was conducted to determine normal blood and serum chemical values on deer. Normal blood and serum chemical values were studied in 8 healthy deers bred at Dalseung Park in Taegu. The values were analyzed with a blood chemical analyzer and calculated by Chawen's statistical analysis. The blood values of RBC, WBC and PCV were $9.73{\pm}1.19{\times} 10^{6}/{\mu}l, 3.37{\pm}0.88{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l, 47.25{\pm}4.65 % respectively. The serum chemical value were: GOT; 83.0{\pm}39.4 IU/L, GPT; 50.12{\pm}25.83 IU/L, BUN; 36.63{\pm}8.70 mg/dl. CPK ; 1,296{\pm}495 IU/L, ALP; 238{\pm}54 IU/L, glucose; 143{\pm}52 mg/dl, total protein; 6.95{\pm}0.61 g/dl, amylase ; 116.0{\pm}34.5 IU/L,$ respectively. These values will be clinically helpful to diagnose the disease of deer.

Dental caries has been widely prevalent with presence of cavitation on teeth. For the last several decades, the prevalence of dental caries in developed countries has rapidly decreased so there has been needed a new and detailed diagnostic guideline to differentiate the severity of dental caries, especially for early status of caries. The cariology specifically requires the development of an integrated definition of dental caries and uniform systems for measuring the caries process in the fields of clinical diagnosis and treatment, epidemiological researches, and dental education and so forth. The international Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS) optically measures the enamel surface changes and potential histological depth of carious lesions by relying on surface characteristics of teeth. ICDAS is a visual classification system that was developed to diagnose the subtle changes of enamel surface, predict the progress direction of early caries, allow standardized data collection in relation to caries in different settings, and to enable better comparison of oral health between countries worldwide and research studies.

Acute compartment syndrome of the lower leg and foot is a surgical emergency. The clinical symptoms is an important clue to diagnose compartment syndrome. In cases of ambiguous diagnosis, unconscious patients and children additionally need a intracompartmental pressure measuring. Immediate fasciotomy should be performed when clinical signs are obvious or when delta pressure is less than 30 mmHg or intracompartmental pressure is greater than 30 mmHg. Fasciotomy of the lower leg can be performed either by one lateral single incision or double incision, which of the foot mainly has a dorsal or medial incision. A delayed in diagnosis that leads to a delay in treatment can result in devastating disability. Acute compartment syndrome of the lower leg and foot is a relative rare but serious complication of which a surgeon should be aware.

Osteoarticular tuberculosis is often misdiagnosed as other disease because of a rare incidence and nonspecific clinical and radiographic presentation. Therefore, it is important to know clinical and radiographic presentations of osteoarticular tuberculosis and to diagnose in early phase. Especially, fistula formation is one of the most important clinical features which suspects osteoarticular tuberculosis. We report a case of ankle tuberculosis to be misdiagnosed as subtalar osteoarthritis and performed subtalar arthrodesis.

This paper presents hybrid expert system for diagnosis of electric power transformer faults. The expert system diagnose and detect faults in oil-filled power transformers based on dissolved gas analysis. As the preprocessing stage, fuzzy information theory is used to manage the uncertainty in transformer fault diagnosis using dissolved gas analysis. The Kohonen neural network takes the interim results by applying fuzzy informations theory as inputs, and performs the transformer fault diagnosis. The Proposed system tested gas records of power transformers from Korea Electric Power Corporation to verify the diagnosis performance of transformer faults.

In this paper, we introduce about a new class to analysis of partial discharge signal based on Fuzzy model. We can early diagnose life of power cable through detection of partial discharge signal. However, partial discharge signal detector is difficult because of partial discharge signal is very non-linear. Also, it is very difficult work that separate partial discharge signal from noise. We constructed partial discharge accumulation detection system that use Labview for detection of non-linear partial discharge signal. And analyzed partial discharge signal that is detected by Labview system utilizing Fuzzy model.

As one of the developmental disturbances in shape of teeth, an accessory root may involve any teeth, but has very rare frequency in the deciduous teeth. Because it is possible to diagnose the accessory root only by use of the radiographs, it is important to detect this root early by carefully examining the radiographs. The accessory root produces several problems such as abnormal exfoliation of deciduous teeth, eruption abnormality of successive permanent teeth, infection due to residual root during tooth extraction, and incomplete pulp treatment, and therefore it is necessary to have a continuous follow check-up to prevent these problems.
