The protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) reaction kinetics has been studied to evaluate its effect on the monoclonal antibody (Mab) refolding and assembly which accompanies disulfide bend formation. The MAb in vitro assembly experiments showed that the assembly rate of heavy and light chains can be greatly enhanced in the presence of PDI as compared to the rate of assembly obtained by the air-oxidation. The reassembly patterns of MAb in-termediates were identical for both with and without PDI, suggesting that the PDI does not determine the MAb assembly pathway, but rather facilitates the rate of MAb assembly by promoting PDI catalyzed disulfide bond formation. The effect of growth rate on PDI activities for MAb production has also been examined by using continuous culture system. The specific MAb productivity of hybridoma cells decreased as the growth rate increased. However, PDI activities were nearly constant fur a wide range of growth rates except very high growth rate, indicating that no direct correlation between PDI activity and specific MAb productivity exists.

The paper discusses the nature of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOSs) and shows how these can support digital library users. It demonstrates processes related to integration of KOS like the Dewey Decimal Classification, $22^{nd}$ edition (DDC22) in DSpace software (http://www.dspace.org/) for organizing and retrieving (browsing and searching) scholarly objects. An attempt has been made to use the DDC22 available in Bengali language and highlights the required mechanisms for system-level integration. It may help a repository administrator to build an IDR (Institutional Digital Repository) integrated with SKOS-enabled multilingual subject access systems for supporting subject descriptors based indexing (DC.Subject metadata element), structured navigation (browsing) and efficient searching.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural model of classification, to compare enumerative schemes with faceted schemes and finding the facted schems used in the Dewey Decimal Classification. The Structural model of classifications can be divided to enumerrative schemes and facted schemes(analytico-synthetic schemes). Enumerative schemes represent the various kind of subject in different ways and have to not only list all existing combinations of subjects but also any of potential subjects. Faceted schemes is the decomposition of concepts into all possible characteristics which are known as facets. DDC was originally created as enumerative, but over 20 editions has moved increasing towards synthetic features such as the add instructions, and the seven auxiliary tables. Many DDC class numbers found in the Schedules may be subdivied by another number(or part of it) that has been drawn from the Schedules or auxiliary tables. This process of subdividing class numbers is called number building and it can be done only when there are number building instruction in the Schedules or Tables.

인터넷 정보자원의 폭발적인 증가에 따라 이를 효율적으로 조직화하고 체계화하는 시스템의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 주제접근을 용이하게 하고 검색 효율성을 높이는 도구로서 분류체계에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 본 고에서는 문헌 분류체계와 인터넷기반 분류체계의 계층구조와 접근방법을 구조적 측면과 검색사례를 통하여 조사하고 이에 대한 비교 분석을 통해 인터넷 환경에 적합한 분류체계의 구성방안을 살펴보았다.

본 연구는 미국의 실용주의 철학자인 존 듀이의 공생적 합리주의 모형에 대한 분석과 이 모형의 계획이론의 적용에 대한 사회규범적 논의에 관한 것이다. 다양한 사회과학분야의 문헌고찰과 듀이를 비롯한 실용주의학파들의 연구를 중심으로 이루어진 본 연구는, 최근 논의되고 있는 사회 규범적 차원에서 논의되고 있는 계획이론의 이론적 근거를 존 듀이의 공생적 합리주의에서 찾고자 하였다. 민주주의의 속성상 계획과정에서의 상충과 갈등이 피할수 없는 현실이라면, 이러한 갈등과 상충이 발전적 도구로 존재할 수 있다고 제시한 듀이의 공생주의는 합리성의 가능성에 바탕을 둔 고전적 합리주의 이론을 대체할 수 있는 하나의 이론으로 제시될 수 있을 것이다. 존 듀이의 공생주의 이론에 대한 연구는 기존의 계획이론분야에서는 제시된 적이 없는 최초의 연구로서, 향후 계획이론 분야의 발전에 있어서 이론적 분석의 한 축을 제시했다는데 본 논문의 기여가 있다고 하겠다.

Mathematics holds a key position among many subjects of school education. Besides having an instrumental value, mathematics for the general public has been underestimated. Thus, in this paper we examine how western educational theorists have emphasized the value of mathematics as humanities form of education. First of all, we discuss Platonism as a philosophical basis of the ancient Greek mathematics education. Next, we examine the thoughts of Froebel, who provided the theoretical basis for the public education since 19th century, and discuss the value of mathematics teaching in their humanistic educational thoughts. Also, we examine the humanistic value of mathematics education in Dewey\\`s educational philosophy, which criticized the traditional western ethics and epistemology, and established instrumentalism. In this paper, we recognize the humanistic values of mathematics education through the historical examination of the philosophies of mathematics education.

This paper examined the principles of experiential learning theory (ELT) relevant to learning from experience and introduces examples which were applied to medical education from a theoretical perspective. The experiential learning theory encompasses the theories of Dewey, Kolb, and Schon, whose key ideas highlight the continuity of experience, interaction of experience, and reflection. According to ELT, growth is education, and education is a reconstruction of experience. Experiential learning is a way of thinking about the educational process by constructing meaningful learning through reflection-in-action. This paper examines the learning principles of ELT and presents practical examples of the application of ELT and its implications for medical education. An in-depth understanding and application of ELT could benefit the field of medical education.

이 논문에서는 DDC의 최신판인 제23판의 주요 특징과 개정내용을 보조표와 본표로 구분하여 상세하게 분석하였다. 또한 DDC의 개정과정과 운영 및 관리에서 나타나는 여러 특징들로부터 얻을 수 있는 KDC의 개정작업을 위한 함의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

In this paper, we explore about Korean early childhood mathematics education history. Actually, mathematics education history is mathematics education curriculum's history. Korean education curriculum has been influenced by the US and European prominent educators: Montessori, Piaget, Bruno, and Dewey, etc. We investigate how those philosophy and thoughts were adopted in Korean early childhood mathematics education curriculums from 1st to 2015 amended curriculum. Also, we can see that NCTM's content standards and Korean Nuri curriculum are the same in the basic concepts: number and operations, space and shapes, measurement, understanding of patterns and data collection.
