  • Recently, the concept of mobile content service has changed from providing unilaterally contents for single-device to providing same contents for multi-device. This service should be able to provide diverse contents for multi-devices without platform and specification of multi-device. In this study, we propose a bridge technique of heterogeneous smart platform supporting social immersive game. It is possible to access social immersive game by using a multi-platform bridge. To achieve this, we explain techniques of device connection and data transmission between heterogeneous devices using server-client structure and UPnP. It provides an immersive game environment for multi-user, which is able to play in a public place using big screen.

  • Mobile network infrastructure is being completed with the development of hardware and software for mobile devices. Network in mobile devices has evolved for telematics that is expanded much more than its existing concept. Telematics is compound word that is formed from the words "telecommunication" and "informatics". It means that telematics performs control and monitoring service with using mobile device resources. These services provide their services for users' requests through wired or wireless network from mobile devices and server that offers contents and network service collects management information of mobile devices. Map service is one of the preferred services for many telematics users. However, mobile map service has a limit between traffic and information sharing. Therefore it is very important to supply their information for both service provider and terminal user. In this paper, we design a new interactive sketch map using routes and information on the space to be applied effectively, and provide an extended document format that is defined to an extensible and dynamic clustering scheme to have portability map service for mobile device.

  • This research aims to propose new direction of mobile collaborative service by supplying functional supports which surpass data resource in smart devices. In this paper, we present Smart Collaboration Service Model that supports two types of collaboration, so called Supplying Collaboration and Sharing Collaboration. This model is a platform for supporting the resources as follows; sharing of data contact in other devices and supplying of special functions, like camera operation and picture transmission from other devices. To show its applicability, a prototype of Smart Collaboration Service Model has been implemented in the Android application for exchanging contact data and renting camera function. We expect that Smart Collaboration Service Model is to help the emergence for a new type of collaboration service. Also, user can reduces resource wastes for device as well as form personal smart space by utilizing all devices owned.

  • In a device-to-device (D2D) underlaid cellular network, there exist two types of co-channel interference. One type is inter-layer interference caused by spectrum reuse between D2D transmitters and cellular users (CUEs). Another type is intra-layer interference caused by spectrum sharing among D2D pairs. To mitigate the inter-layer interference, we first derive the interference limited area (ILA) to protect the coverage probability of cellular users by modeling D2D users' location as a Poisson point process, where a D2D transmitter is allowed to reuse the spectrum of the CUE only if the D2D transmitter is outside the ILA of the CUE. To coordinate the intra-layer interference, the spectrum sharing criterion of D2D pairs is derived based on the (signal-to-interference ratio) SIR requirement of D2D communication. Based on this criterion, D2D pairs are allowed to share the spectrum when one D2D pair is far from another sufficiently. Furthermore, to maximize the energy efficiency of the system, a resource allocation scheme is proposed according to weighted graph coloring theory and the proposed ILA restriction. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme provides significant performance gains over the conventional scheme and the random allocation scheme.

  • As blockchain technology has emerged as a security issue for IoT, technology which integrates block chain into IoT is being studied. In this paper is a research concerning token-based IoT service access control technology for data sharing, which propose a possessor focused data sharing technic by using the permissioned blockchain. To share IoT health data, a Hyperledger Fabric Network consisting of three organizations was designed to provide a way to share data by applying different access control policies centered on device owners for different services. In the proposed system, the device owner issues access control tokens with different security levels applied to the participants in the organization, and the token issue information is shared through the distributed ledger of the HFN. In IoT, it is possible to lightweight the access control processing of IoT devices by granting tokens to service requesters who request access to data. Furthmore, by sharing token issuance information among network participants using HFN, the integrity of the token is guaranteed and all network participants can trust the token. The device owners can trust that their data is being used within their authorized rights, and control the collection and use of data.

  • In conceptual design of engineering devices, a designer decomposes a required function into sub-functions, so-called functional decomposition, using a kind of functional knowledge representing achievement relations among functions. However, such knowledge about functionality of engineering devices is usually left implicit because each designer possesses it. Even if such knowledge is found in documents, it is often scattered around technical domains and lacks consistency. Aiming at capturing such functional knowledge explicitly and sharing it in design teams, we discuss its systematic description based on functional ontologies which provide common concepts for its consistent and generic description. We propose a new concept named “was of achievement” as a key concept for capturing such functional knowledge. Categorization of typical representations of the knowledge and its organization as is-a hierarchies are also discussed. The generic concepts representing functionality of a device in the functional knowledge are provided by the functional concept ontology, which makes the functional knowledge consistent and applicable to other domains. We also discuss development of a design supporting system using the systematized knowledge, called a functional was server. It helps human designers redesign an existing engineering device by providing a wide range of alternative ways of achievement of the required function in a manner suitable for the viewpoint of each designer and then facilitates innovative design.

  • Device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying cellular networks can bring significate benefits for improving the performance of mobile services. However, it hinges on elaborate resource sharing scheme to coordinate interference between cellular users and D2D pairs. We formulate a joint mode selection, link allocation and power control optimization problem for D2D communication sharing uplink resources in a multi-user cellular network and consider the efficiency and the fairness simultaneously. Due to the non-convex difficulty, we propose a three-step scheme: firstly, we conduct mode selection for D2D pairs based on a minimum distance metric after an admission control and obtain some cellular candidates for them. And then, a cellular candidate will be paired to each D2D pair based on fairness. Finally, we use Lagrangian Algorithm to formulate a joint power control strategy for D2D pairs and their reused cellular users and a closed-form of solution is derived. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed algorithms converge in a short time. Moreover, both the sum rate of D2D pairs and the energy efficiency of cellular users are improved.

  • With device-to-device (D2D) communications, an inactive user terminal can be utilized as a relay node to support multi-hop communication so that connective experience of the cell-edge user as well as the capacity of the whole system can be significantly improved. In this paper, we investigate the spectrum sharing for a cooperative relay assisted D2D communication underlying a cellular network. We formulate a joint relay selection and channel assignment problem to maximize the throughput of the system while guaranteeing the quality of service (QoS) requirements of cellular users (CUs) and D2D users (DUs). By exploiting coalition formation game theory, we propose two algorithms to solve the problem. The first algorithm is designed based on merge and split rules while the second one is developed based on single user's movement. Both of them are proved to be stable and convergent. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
