  • This study shows the comparison between expected and actual capacity factors of a wind farm through wind resource analyzation. The expected capacity factor comes from an 'automatic weather system' run by the Korean national weather service and a 'meteorological mast' run by a project owner. Based on this comparison and analysis, the importance of meteorological mast micro-siting and selection of wind turbine class and type, will be studied along with presenting important implications for wind farm expansion and development.

  • This study clarified a study of relationship of strategic alliance structure factor, partner selection criteria and performance awareness on the container liners alliance. In order to obtain such objective of study existing literature variables suitable to the container liner were perused and extracted. Research models for research development and three study hypothesis were set out and scope of investigation and samples were chosen. The research hypothesis are followings. H1: The factors of strategic alliance motivation influence the performance awareness. H2: The strategic alliance structure factors influence the performance awareness. H3: The factors of partner selection criteria influence the performance awareness. In the result of the empirical study, the hypothesis 1, hypothesis 2 were supported completely and hypothesis 3 was partially supported.

  • In this paper, an index for the evaluation of vehicle intake booming noise is developed through a correlation analysis of objective measurement data and subjective evaluation data. First, intake orifice noise is measured at the wide-open test condition. And then, acoustic transfer function between intake orifice noise and interior noise at the steady state condition is estimated. Simultaneously, subjective evaluation was carried out with a ten-scale score by 8 engineers. Next, the correlation analysis between the psycho-acoustic parameters derived from the measured data and the subjective evaluation is performed. The most critical factor was determined and the corresponding index for the intake booming noise is obtained from the multiple factor regression method. At last, the effectiveness of the proposed index is validated.

  • The purpose of the study is to review research in concept, measurement, effect, and influence factor of teacher efficacy. Through the review of previous research, the study shows that the concept of teacher efficacy is likely to be situation-specific rather than teacher characteristic. And the study represents that the measurement of teacher efficacy is related to the development of measurement instrument and the extraction of construct. The effect of teacher efficacy concerns the relationship between teacher efficacy and the student's academic achievement and affective traits such as motivation, interests, and attitude, and the relationship between teacher efficacy and teacher. And the influence factor of teacher efficacy concerns the influence of job environment related to teacher. The four things mentioned above are discussed in detail based on the previous research.

  • The relationship between the product design and product image can be defined using human sensibility. If there is a way to grasp the product value or product design that people want most, it could be possible to make and sell user-oriented products. In human sensibility ergonomics, the categories of design factor can be broken into shape and color of the design. Although, the color is the major factor of the design, however, texture were is also an important factor for the shape. In this study, wall-papers that have various shapes of texture were used for the experiment. The purpose of this study was to conduct a sensibility estimation experiment for the product image, and to estimate the parameters of various textures for creating new textures that could be more suitable for human sensibility.

  • Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common, childhood-onset, neuropsychiatric disorder with an estimated prevalence of 2-7.6% in Korean children. Although the etiology of ADHD is not well understood, evidence from genetic factor and environmental factor studies suggests that ADHD results from a gene environmental interaction. In the current study, we reviewed the evidence for and clinical implications of the hypothetical roles of organophosphate pesticides, organochlorine pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls, phthalate, bisphenol, polyfluoroalkyl chemicals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, manganese, tobacco, alcohol as harmful risk factors in the development of ADHD.

  • In this paper, We studied LED(Light Emitted Diode) sensor lights system using PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Ray) sensor, CdS and MCU(Micro Controller Unit). And applied the valley fill circuit to improve the power factor. We designed the amplifier for each sensor and the LED driver for constant current which is the buck converter. Also, we proposed the algorithm of LED control by each sensors using MCU. Experimental results showed that power factor is 92% with valley fill circuit.

  • The object of this study is to understand the psychological factor of the worker on safety and recommend experimental factor of safety education program. The following are the methods of this study. We analyzed the statistical data from survey to workers(N=139) about the psychological factor on safely. The survey consisted of 34 questions about 4 factors like private external characteristic, psychological characteristic, characteristics on behavior, and experience and reason of disaster. As the result of the analysis of the multi regression model on the base of correlation of each of the major factors, psychological health, effort on practicing, and satisfaction on their life were the variables with high influence on the safety mind of workers. So, it is good safety strategy for effective working to maintain healthy life with optimistic minds, and try to practice actively as usual. After considering the result, for the development of safety education program for working, we have to consider psychological factors of our workers that influence their safety and try to improve the experimental education opportunity, and it will be effective.

  • Recently, the number of Internet shopping malls increases dramatically Internet shopping malls offer direct sales by electronic catalogs. As compared with to physical stores and paper catalogs, electronic catalogs differ in terms of the varieties and types of products offered, promotional efforts, service, interface, ordering and delivering, and so on. This paper analysed the features of electronic catalogs for fisheries by 45 variables. By descriptive statistics of electronic catalogs for fisheries, most electron)c catalogs had sufficient product related information. But promotion and transaction security related features were scarce. And some development technologies of electronic catalogs for fisheries were obsolete. By factor analysis, there were 9 factors of electronic catalogs for fisheries, that was, design of product pages, transaction information, playfulness, convenience of product selection, interface design, design of homepages, product information, learning capability, other electronic catalog related factor. Thus in standardizing electronic catalog for fisheries products, the above 9 factors should be reflected significantly.

  • In this study, the characteristics of site amplification at seismic observation stations in Japan were estimated using the attenuation relationship of each station's response spectrum. Ground motion records observed after 32 earthquakes were employed to construct the attenuation relationship. The station correction factor at each KiK-net station was compared to the transfer functions between the base rock and the surface. For each station, the plot of the station correction factor versus the period was similar in shape to the graphs of the transfer function (amplitude ratio versus period). Therefore, the station correction factors are effective for evaluating site amplifications considering the period of ground shaking. In addition, the station correction factors were evaluated with respect to the average shear wave velocities using a geographic information system (GIS) dataset. Lastly, the site amplifications for specific periods were estimated throughout Japan.
