Planning phase became very important because the construction market in Korea is often unpredictable. The existing feasibility analysis cannot fulfill its purpose in development projects because they are based on intuitive approach rather than systematic approach. The purpose of this study is to make a prototype of feasibility model to be a good investment. To build the model, first, risk factors which can be occurred in project had to be selected. Risk factors were divided into several groups in basis of characteristical risk. Economical risk factors were input on financial analysis. Then, to catch the relevance and influence of all risk factors, influence diagram and decision tree were made. Finally, sensitivity analysis was activated, then what the critical factors were, and how those factors could be solved. Through these procedures, the feasibility model that was made in this study could include both quantitative and qualitative factors. This model is expected to be used as a guide of feasibility analysis including all risk factors and is to serve systematic frame in planning and feasibility stage.

With construction industry recession, many construction companies are increasingly conducting the development projects by themselves. However, housing projects requested by developers still stand large portion. Although many studies on feasibility analysis were released, they mainly focused on economic feasibility and lacked research on factors and criterions of overall project. Also, because previous studies overly break downed factors related to project, they rarely used in practice. Therefore, this study developed the feasibility analysis model of housing development projects to help main contractors to easily and effectively decide if it is feasible enough to promote the projects requested by developers, and verified the reliability of the model. In this study, thirty one driving factors were identified under seven different categories and the criterion of each factor was also developed. The survey on important index of each factor found "salability", "economic feasibility", "site location" and "method of raising fund" significant. 3 projects were tested by the model and its results showed resonable reliability.

The purpose of this study is to develop the feasibility of movable partition wall components that are able to correspond changes of structure system and spatial configuration by the needs of residents for the activation of long-life housing. The key element of various movable partition wall components, a movable partition wall, was analyzed for problems through both as-is analysis and field installation in Korea and Japan, and then its feasibility was verified. The movable partition wall can break the uniformity of a fixed one, can integrate and separate limited space by changes in the demands of residents, can be easy to separate, and can be independent. The development of the movable partition wall is important for the realization of diverse residential space, ease of remodeling, environment adaptation, promotion of modularization, etc. It is comprised of surfacing materials, core materials, structural materials, and movable parts. The domestic movable partition wall was verified regarding the feasibility of an apartment house through on-site inspections and sound insulation tests by KOHP21, KICT. In conclusion, the construction of long-life housing that has sustainable values in the use of housing is nationally an important assignment, so as to secure good housing stock.

Recently, CO2 reduction policies are being promoted as parts of ESSD(Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Development), and many local governments are interested in monorails as a new means of transport. Here we report on a feasibility study for introducing a monorail system by considering the travel demands in the Mt. Bomun area in Daejeon, based on the area's population. The feasibility of a monorail system on Mt.Bomun varies with respect to the demographic scale, mode shares, and operational distances. The strategies introduced here will help identify any tourist spots where local governments are trying to introduce monorail systems as a new system of transit.

The purpose of this paper is to present a procedure for feasibility analysis of new hospitals. The major steps of the procedure proposed consists of determination of location for a new hospital, analysis of the community served, facilities planning, estimation of capital requirements and financial analysis. Technical details of the necessary analyses are covered by providing relevant information most of which is readily available in Korea. The procedure proposed in this paper can be applied not only for the case of the general hospital but also for the case of the clinic.

This papers deals with feasibility study of wireless motion control. Wireless telecommunication advances with development of IT technology and extends more and more areas. So we selected Bluetooth out of the technologies(Bluetooth, SWAP(SharedWireless Access Protocol), IrDA(Infra Red Data Association), WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network)) which was developed for local data communication and set up simple experimental system for wireless data transfer and server and client program for wireless data transfer was wrote. We successfully transferred some data wirelessly with this program.

To construct ligh rail transit, many local autonomous entities investigate the feasibility of project. Especially, many studies attempt to find the probability of private inducement and the method. The purpose of this paper is to develop the light rail transit financial analysis system for private sector, based on the procedure and the method of the financial analysis. This system consistes of the income and cost module. As a result, provide the cash flow, income statement and financial profit statement for the result. We hope that it is contributed to analyze the feasibility of the finance conveniently.

This study has analyzed the scale, location, resource potential and feasibility of offshore wind farm scientifically and systematically based on the national wind map and GIS (Geographic Information System). For long-term wind power development, this study pursues siting strategy building, selection of target area and deciding development priority as well as the presenting a basis for assessment that are necessary for policy decision making by making theme layers under GIS environment. According to the analysis after organizing technological development by stages, even if only the most suitable sites are developed among the area of offshore wind farm candidates that can be developed under the current technological standard, it has been evaluated as being able to develop about 3 times of the wind power dissemination target until 2012. It is expected that about 5% of territorial water area can be developed in a short-term future while the southern offshore area possessing relatively favorable wind resource than the western offshore has been identified as the most feasible site. While about 23% of territorial water area has been classified as potential area for offshore wind farm development in a long-term future, even Jeju Island and offshore of Ulsan possessing excellent wind resource have been analyzed as feasible sites. The feasibility assessment of offshore wind farm development established by this study is expected to assist national strategy building for accomplishing the wind power dissemination target.

The feasibility of photo-identification techniques for the bottlenose dolphins from Jeju Island, Korea, and the potential for dolphin watching were simultaneously evaluated in this study. During the sighting survey, a pod of bottlenose dolphins composed of approximately 30 individuals was observed in the southwestern coastal area of Jeju Island. Among 35 suitable photographs, five bottlenose dolphin individuals were identified and cataloged using unique nicks and notches on their dorsal fins. This shows that the Jeju Island dolphins can be individually identified by the nicks and notches on their dorsal fins using photo-identification techniques. Furthermore, the Jeju Island population appears to be suitable for long-term population biology studies using this technique. The potential for dolphin watching around the island would be higher if more information on the seasonal distribution, movement, and residency of this population were obtained.
