  • Web development and Internet technology development bring many kinds of works to web. This is the main reason why XML, document standard is popular. XML in web can be used to express document template or standard. XML with java can be more powerful and general. For example, XML can be used to transmit data and to print data into the screen using Ajax in JSP(Java Server Page) and to make interfaces in android, which is useful to reduce development cycle. However, XML is not easy to learn for the novice. In this paper, we propose the easy and effective way to reduce the learning curve of XML and to make and use XML documents. For the purpose, we suggest template base XML document generation and we design and implement XML document generator based on Template. XML document generator of template-based provides user interface and layout of XML document. So, users can generate XML document easily and effectively.

  • Because of the properties of software such as invisibility, complexity, and changeability, software configuration management (SCM) for software artifacts generated during software life-cycle has been used for guarantee of the quality of the software. However, the existing SCM system has only focused on code artifacts and software development document artifacts such as Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Software Design Description (SDD), and Software Test Description (STD). Moreover, software research-oriented project comes out late the code artifacts and the software development document artifacts. Therefore, there is a need for trace and management of software research document artifacts composed of highly abstracted non-functional requirements like 'the purpose of the project', 'the objectives', and 'the progress' before generation of the code artifacts and the software development document artifacts for a long time. Nevertheless, the existing SCM system cannot trace and manage them. In this paper, we propose content-based configuration management system comprised of the relevance link generation phase and content-based testing phase to trace and manage them. The preliminary application results show applicability and feasibility of the proposed system.

  • In this paper, we propose a document classification model using Web documents as a part of the training corpus in order to resolve the imbalance of the training corpus size per category. For the purpose of retrieving the Web documents closely related to each category, the proposed document classification model calculates the matching score between word features and each category, and generates a Web search query by combining the higher-ranked word features and the category title. Then, the proposed document classification model sends each combined query to the open application programming interface of the Web search engine, and receives the snippet results retrieved from the Web search engine. Finally, the proposed document classification model adds these snippet results as Web documents to the training corpus. Experimental results show that the method that considers the balance of the training corpus size per category exhibits better performance in some categories with small training sets.

  • Project management is a tool for smooth operation during a full cycle from the design to normal operation including the schedule, document, and budget management, and document management is an important work for big projects such as the JRTR (Jordan Research and Training Reactor). To manage the various large documents for a research reactor, a project management system was resolved, a project procedure manual was prepared, and a document control system was established. The ANSIM (Advanced Nuclear Safety Information Management) system consists of a document management folder, document container folder, project management folder, organization management folder, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) document folder. First, the system composition is a computerized version of the Inter-office Correspondence (IOC), the Document Distribution for Agreement (DDA), Design Documents, and Project Manager Memorandum (PM Memo) works prepared for the research reactor design. Second, it reviews, distributes, and approves design documents in the system and approves those documents to register and supply them to the research reactor user. Third, it integrates the information of the document system-using organization and its members, as well as users' rights regarding the ANSIM document system. Throughout these functions, the ANSIM system has been contributing to the vitalization of united research. Not only did the ANSIM system realize a design document input, data load, and search system and manage KAERI's long-period experience and knowledge information properties using a management strategy, but in doing so, it also contributed to research activation and will actively help in the construction of other nuclear facilities and exports abroad.

  • It is common for archive libraries to provide public access to historical and ancient document image collections. It is common for such document images to require specialized processing in order to remove background noise and become more legible. Document images may be contaminated with noise during transmission, scanning or conversion to digital form. We can categorize noises by identifying their features and can search for similar patterns in a document image to choose appropriate methods for their removal. In this paper, we propose a hybrid binarization approach for improving the quality of old documents using a combination of global and local thresholding. This article also reviews noises that might appear in scanned document images and discusses some noise removal methods.

  • Document management system is a tool, based on the document life cycle concept, for structured management of various documents within an organization. In this paper, we address a development process of document management system based on SGML. We have developed a document management system which can support a variety of types in documents such as informal data, HTML, CGI and so on. Using the developed system, users can access documents in the system through an internet browser, and also add or modify existing documents.

  • In this study, the concept, developments and the present situations of an electronic document delivery services, projects and systems are examined. Also the implications of an electronic document delivery services in the library and the future of the services are studied. Some conclusions and a few suggestions derived from the study are as follows : (1) An electronic document delivery services, one of the most innovative methods for delivering the needed materials to a researcher is now being incorporated into an important part of today's information industries. (2) The technological developments have made it possible to deliver nearly all the document formats electronically, and can make the shortest turnaround time to be 30minutes. The technology has also made it possible to develop user-friendly document delivery services by providing the various methods of requesting of, delivering of and charging for the materials. (3) Different types of institutions have made researches, tests, developments and implementation of an electronic document delivery techniques with different features. (4) The issues of copyrights and standards involved in an electronic document delivery still remain as the problems to be solved. (5) The increase and development of patron-initiated document delivery services have and will have some impacts on the library services with the possibility to pass by the librarians intermediation, but to deliver the materials directly to the end-users. (6) The library could take the outside electronic document delivery services as an opportunity. Accordingly, in order to incorporate this services in the interlibrary loan, collection development and other library services, the library should establish appropriate policies, guidelines and management strategies related to the operations. (7) In order to maximize the use of the electronic document delivery services, the library should provide an appropriate education for the librarian and users to have knowledge and skills on the changing techniques of the electronic document delivery and on the various features as well as changing mechanisms by each system and service.

  • In these days. a lot of paper are made electronic document using the computer through the spread of computer and internet technology growing up. which is produced in construction project such as form document, report, account, specification and so on. Developed electronic document is distributed energetically through internet. Because existing electronic document is composed of various format, it is difficult that document data is shared and exchanged among the project participating groups in internet. So, it is required that construction-related technical document is made electronic document by standard information system and how to use technical document. Therefore, tins study presents the procedure and method of developing electronic document on technical document using XML technology.

  • In this paper, we introduce a novel approach to enhance document security by integrating Computer Generated Hologram(CGH) encryption technology with a system for document encryption, printing, and subsequent verification using a smartphone application. The proposed system enables the encryption of documents using CGH technology and their printing on the edges of the document, simplifying document verification and validation through a smartphone application. Furthermore, the system leverages high-resolution smartphone cameras to perform online verification of the original document and supports offline document decryption, ensuring tamper detection even in environments without internet connectivity. This research contributes to the development of a comprehensive and versatile solution for document security and integrity, with applications in various domains.
