Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of case-based learning application in human growth development classes on nursing students' problem-solving ability, self-directed learning ability, and academic self-efficacy. Methods : The research method was a self-report questionnaire before and after case-based learning for second-year nursing students who took the human growth development course at U University in K city. The collected data were statistically processed using SPSS WIN 21.0. Results : The results of the study showed that after case-based learning, problem-solving ability, self-directed learning ability, and academic self-efficacy were all significantly improved. In addition, as a result of examining the correlation between each variable after case-based learning, problem solving ability score and self-directed learning ability score (r=.54, ｐ<.01), and problem solving ability scores and academic self-efficacy scores (r=.44, ｐ<.01), were significantly correlated with self-directed learning ability scores and the academic self-efficacy reduction scores (r=.76, ｐ<.01). Conclusion : The results of this study suggested the need for various learning programs such as case-based learning to improve nursing students' problem-solving abilities and self-directed learning abilities and their application. In addition, to improve the learning self-efficacy of nursing students, a continuous and systematic study is suggested to develop and apply customized educational programs according to the learners' preferences. Since the sample group in this study was limited to one university, there were few cases and no control group, so there are limitations in generalizing the test effect, However, significant differences a were verified in the case-based learning pre-tests and post-tests.

This study explores the issue of campus expansion of an urban university using an in-depth case study of New York University in New York City, USA. It investigates the physical pattern and development mechanism of the campus expansion process on a city grid structure. The three elements that characterize NYU's recent campus expansion, are (1) the university's commitment to building a student community around a public open space on a subway network, (2) four types of property acquisition and building development practiced by the university with private developers for space leasing, building renovation and development under changing local development circumstances, and (3) the city's initiative for attracting the private sector whose development activities influence the university's development dynamics. These findings suggest that the expansion planning of an urban university, due to its location in a city, should be placed on a local planning agenda, which can positively contribute to public goals through the collaborative engagement of the private and public sectors.

Forecasting probability or likelihood of technology development success has been a crucial factor for critical decisions in technology management such as R&D project selection and go or no-go decision of new product development (NPD) projects. This paper proposes an analytic network process (ANP) approach to forecasting of technology development success. Reviewing literature on factors affecting technology development success has constructed the ANP model composed of four criteria clusters : R&D characteristics, R&D competency, technological characteristics, and technological environment. An alternative cluster comprised of two elements, success and failure is also included in the model. The working of the proposed approach is provided with the help of a case study example of MRAM (magnetic random access memory) technology.

and to provide (case example-focused) guidelines for environment-friendly oriented plans. Key findings of this study are as follows : first, a total of 2,465 development projects covering $173km^2$ were undertaken in Gyeonggi province in last three years. Second, based on the analysis of 16 development projects in four types, about 20 alternative environment-friendly location were suggested. Thirdly, 56 environment-friendly criteria were suggested for the environmental assessment items by setting at least three alternatives. Going forward, if discussion case examples by project type, environment-friendly location criteria by project type, and environment friendly review criteria by assessment item suggested in this study are fully utilized when initiating or approving various development projects in the future, environment-friendliness will be enhanced in development projects.

Objectives This is the clinical report about 1 case of patient with delayed motor development in lower limbs. Methods The herb medication, acupuncture therapies were applied for treating delayed motor development from June 9 to November 20, 2007. Results After 5 months treatment, the patient's delayed motor development were improved by oriental medical therapy. Conclusions We report the good results of oriental medical therapy on a pediatric patient with delayed lower limbs motor development. For more accurate studies, further studies would be needed with more cases.

본 연구에서는 신제품개발의 실시에 있어서 가장 중요한 기능분석의 단계를 제품의 설계 단계에서부터 소비자의 만족도를 조사하여 반영하였다. 품질기능전개를 이용하여 전개함으로서 원가절감과 품질개선의 합리적인 기능분석을 실시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 가치공학과 품질기능전개(QFD: Quality Function Deployment) 의 상호연계에 대한 필요성과 적합성을 분석하였다. 사례연구에서는 이러한 이론적인 배경 하에 품질기능전개를 이용하여 VE 기능 분석을 의료기기 제품에 적용하였다. 본 연구결과 소비자의 만족도와 품질기능전개를 이용하여 나타난 제품의 가치가 연구결과와 일치하고 있음을 파악하였다.

SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) have implemented the various IT-based Production Information Systems(PIS) to cope with the highly competitive environment as well as to improve their competitiveness and productivity. For the efficient development of PIS In SMEs, standardizing the system development process is required. Methodology for the development of PIS is especially important for the systematic and efficient implementation to communicate among the SI companies, SMEs, and a supervision agency. TIPA(Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs) has developed PSDM(Production System Development Methodology), and supplies it to the SI companies. The research goal of this paper is to explore the productivity improvement by adopting the PSDM with the cases of SI companies applied PSDM. The results show that such benefits as risk management, productivity improvement, easy system implementation and maintenance are perceived by PSDM Users. This research could be the first case study reveal the effectiveness of PSDM. For further research, the survey could be carried out with more samples.

The main objective of this article lies in discussing dependecy issues as related to information development in NICs. The theoretical foundation was drawn from theories of 'dependency' and of 'information societies,' The main assertion of the dependency school (the more dependency, the less development) was applied for a test of the relationship between dependency on foreign scientific and technical information (STI) resources and indigenous STI development in NICs. Utilizing a case study method, this study explored the causes and results of dependency on foreign STI in a leading NIC­the Republic of Korea (ROK). First identified were the economic factors that might have influenced the ROK's dependency on foreign STI. Also investigated were the social factors that might have had associations with the R&D personnel's dependency on foreign STI. Regarding the development of information area, this study discussed general features in the process of producing, organizng, and gatekeeping indigenous STIIdentified regarding the ROK's information dependency was the R&D personnel's pattern of using foreign STI resources as well as the country's dependency on foreign STI resources. This study also discussed the socio-economic progress toward an information society in ROK for the past decades. Finally, specific linkages between the selected five variables were examined on the basis of the proposed four hypotheses.

The propose of this paper is to study a theory on the research of mountain village region in korea of globalization age. The theory of this study is over-depopulation region study, endogenous regional development theory and resident organization, localities and new regional studies The case of over-depopulation region study, which population and land use of mountain village region due to urbanization and industrialization are changed by external factors. However, the case of some region is changed by internal factors of community residents. The endogenous regional development theory and have approached by investment policy of authorities of the mountain village region development and resident organization. The development of mountain village region have to described simultaneously both behavior strategy of community residents and investment policy of the authorities. According to localities and new regional studies, which agricultural products of mountain village region is extended to big-scale city by the progress transportation-communication and globalzation So, the research of mountain village region have to explained together intra with inter region. In the future, the research of mountain village region has to described all of case of over-depopulation region study, endogenous regional development theory, localities and new regional studies.

Purpose - With the increasing medical demands of the public, the development of future Internet medical care has come to represent a major problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discuss future development strategies for Interne medical care while taking China's Internet hospitals as an example case. Research design, data, and methodology - This study conducted a case study of China's Internet hospitals to summarize the fundamental problems faced by Internet hospitals and propose future development strategies to overcome these problems for Internet medical care. Result - Although Internet hospitals have been regarded as the ultimate product of Internet medical care, from the perspective of the government, medical institutions, platforms builders and maintainers, and patients, they still face some basic issues. Conclusion - This study concludes that the government and medical institutions play an important role in the future development of Internet medical care and suggests that the government should make overall plans for the policies and standards and should play the main role in enhancing the public trust in Internet medical care, while medical institutions should take steps such as seizing policy opportunities, driving online and offline collaborations, and constructing suitable evaluation systems to promote the development of Internet medical care.
